Frustrated and disappointed in Crittenden Glass. I placed an order two weeks ago for a simple glass shelf. They said that it would take a week to get the glass. I really loved working with this family owned and operated company. Lee and Tyler were amazing to work with the whole way the value and expertise that they brought to the table were incredible. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! If you are looking for new windows, look no further. Crittenden is the company you want to work with! I have very unique windows in my home; they are large, all have weird angles, and slide open. I was also adding a window where we didn't have one. This was a large and complicated project, I got bids from 8 local installers. Crittenden had a very competitive bid but Tyler's customer service, attention to detail, and willingness to come up with creative ways to install my windows was what won them over for me. The installers came in the morning and did exceptional work. They cut the windows out and installed 10 windows in 2 days. As an architect remodeling my own home I had very high standards on the craftsmanship of the work. I can honestly say these guys exceeded my expectations. Really disappointed with Crittenden, I needed a simple order of a 9x12 piece of glass cut and went in 3 days early. They told me it would be done the day I needed it in the morning, i went in that afternoon and told it was not cut. Tired again three hours later-still not cut, missing my deadline. The receptionist told me there was nobody there to cut it and there's nothing that could be done besides come and get my money back. Feels extra bad, because she was the one to tell me it would be done the day of morning. Dishonest & bad customer service. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere, hard lesson learned for me. read more

Terrible communication. Terrible service. Truly incompetence at it highest level. It was always my thought that the contractor stand behind their work. And once they do, they don't give a change order charge for their mistake.NOT WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Watch your back and your checkbook when dealing with Crittenden. Can't even handle new construction projects. Their are better companies around that stand behind their work. In my experience if in Ogden, Moyes stands behind their service and products far further than these guys. And they don't charge if they make a mistake. I would never recommend this company!! Use another company! They came to measure for a custom sliding door (with a dog door insert) on March 8, 2022. It's now June 29th. I've heard nothing from them. I have called them four times with questions and an ETA on the glass door. I was told they would look into it and call me back, which they never did (four times!). But here's the thing, three of the times I called, I spoke with the guy who came out and measured. He knew specifically about the job. I was originally told this job would take 4 to 6 weeks. I've been using a temporary fix for almost 4 months now, so my dogs can go outside by themselves. Clearly they do not want my $1200 -$1400 they told me it would cost. That's not cheap. I will point out that I am very patient and okay with things taking longer than normal these days but just communicate that with me. Terrible customer service! I had to call three times to get a quote. They didn't show up to the appointment for a quote and then I had to call to reschedule. I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. Then, Lee didn't call me with a quote and I had to call them to get it. Disorganized. No one could help me and I had to call a second time for that. I ordered the glass, but now after 6 weeks...NOTHING! I called and talked to three different people, but my order must not be big enough to be important. So, if you have a small job, or want something done in a timely manner, don't bother calling Crittenden Glass! Horrible customer service!!! read more

I have really wanted to do business with Crittenden Glass but I cannot get them to call me back. After 5 attempts I got Lee to come out to give me an estimate. Then it took 3 weeks for the installer to come out to measure. I called back 6 weeks later to try to schedule an install and absolute radio silence. When I got a hold of someone in the office I was told they would order the window that day and it would be in 2 weeks from now. I called 3 weeks later and was told she would call be back that day. Another week passes and I called back again for my install. Again I was told they would have to call me back. Nothing. I do not understand. If they don't want new business, why don't they just say we are not taking on any new clients right now. An extreme waste of time. Horrible customer service. read more

terrible customer service! I called to order a custom mirror....a simple rectangle. gave them a week and finally called to check on my order. the employee said he'd check on my order in the shop and call me back. didn't hear from him, so waited another week before calling again. this time the employee said she didn't see an order for me (what?!). she said she was going to look into it further and give me a call back. now it's been one week and haven't heard a thing. in total it's been nearly 3 weeks and they clearly don't want my business. would not recommend this company! I went with this company after calling several because they were cheaper by about $10, but if the employee doesn't summit the order and then 2 other employees completely disregard calling back the customer, well the less expensive price doesn't really matter. the only pro I experienced was the 3 times I called and talked to 3 different people, they were all very friendly, so it threw me off when they didn't follow through with calling me back. obviously, this isn't a situation where I needed the mirror asap. I kept waiting to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I will be going elsewhere. read more
