This place is absolutely awesome! Got to the door a few minutes after closing with another family and the folks were super nice and decided to do one last sitting just for us! Super nice folks! The food was absolutely amazing. This was not only delicious pizza, but it is the best (and only as far as ive seen) genuine iranian style pizza in north-america. Fresh, hot, crispy pizza made to order, with tasty persian malt drinks. Overall wonderful experience. Don't know if the owners read these but truly I cannot thank them enough for letting one last group of customers in at the end of the night. I came here from Houston. Food was good, but the atmosphere was not great. Place is very unorganized and customer service isn't great. I don't know about Canada, but customer service is everything in a business. Maybe it was because they were busy or under pressure, but the workers were not in a good mood. That is the game changer when I can eat the crust which is crunchy on the outside and soft inside and it has flavour. This will be my new go to place for pizza in this part of town. there is parking underground behind the building with an exit to the front on Marine drive. So you don't have to stress yourself for parking on the main street. There are other dishes I want to try here. So I anticipate when I'm not so busy dieting now, I'll come again for sure! When i first came to Vancouver a few years ago, this was the first place my buddy took me and I've been a regular of theirs since. First with the negative, The ambience ain't the coolest(I get take out) and they don't serve alchoholic beverages but if you love pizza there is no place better. The ingredients are fresh and the cheese is sublime! Plus it's a lot of pizza for the money. A medium pizza can almost serve 3 people. The crispy layer of cheese on the front page of Crispy's Yelp screamed for me. We were searching for pizza on a quick Vancouver visit and just had to get it. We called in and ordered 1 Large Meat Lover pizza and 1 with Sausage and Mushrooms. The friendly folks on the other end of the line said it would be about 10 minutes - perfect. They don't deliver, but it was only a couple of miles from our hotel, so this was not a problem. Pizza came out looking exactly like the pictures and we were excited. The verdict though was that it was okay - not amazing like I had anticipated. Some of my family members claimed to have missed the grease that Americans are so used to with pizza. I have to admit, I kind of did too. I'm glad we tried it because it was different. I love the concept of a Meat Lovers pizza having a baked and crispy blanket of cheese laying over top of the meat. However, I am sad to say this was not one of the most memorable meals of that Vancouver trip. read more

We had burgers - which were overpriced (no fries with them, Thank you), and you got more bun (seriously they should be called bun burgers) than beef. The fried potato wedges were OK. Pizza was fine. 2l pop was $4.50 - seems like everything on the North Shore is expensive. The table was dirty. Wanted to take leftover pizza home and asked them to pack it they told me to do it myself. For what we paid we would have had a better meal and experience at Green Lettuce in Surrey. Overall it's OK but they're are better places which offer more value for the dollar. Doubt we would return. read more

I love this place. We drive from Seattle just to eat here, we also bring couple of pizzas back home with us, so I think that makes it very clear about how much I love crispy pizza. I've been here three times. Twice they have forgotten to place some of my order. More importantly, the hygiene is bad. The old Persian lady was picking her nose like it was going out of style. I asked her to wash her hands before handling my food and she suddenly lost her ability to speak English. Fortunately I grabbed it before she could pass it to me. The food is ok but the service is really really bad. It is a self serv restaurant while there is an option for the tip at the end. They also use Styrofoam plates and cups that you have to pick up yourself to serve your guests. If you have guests to invite somewhere or you have a large group never go to this place unless you are ready to serve people yourself. In my case when I was paying the bill they asked me for the number of drinks and after I gave them the number they said it should be more than what is on the table because they heard the glass bottle sounds being dropped in the garbage bean. I had to check twice until they said it is ok. Quite embarrassing in front of my guests. The price is also high compared to other places where you usually get a deal on multiple orders. The food was excellent! We had a beef burger and wow! The beef patty was so flavorful, it also had an excellent texture, none of those inedible pieces of fat, and it was juicy. The pizza was interesting and I think this is where their name comes from. They put the toppings under the cheese so the cheese becomes crispy. The decor is cute, the place was clean, and the staff was friendly.
