Long story short, my iPhone was on it's last leg and even though there was not going to be a new phone sale or new activation sale, Eddie was all about service, trying to get my calls and texts forwarded to my other active iPhone number, with a different carrier at that. He called tech support to forward the calls and texts to my other number, no luck... they could not do it like that. A 5-star effort though. Then after discussing a low end phone just to get calls and texts he pointed out that there was insurance on my all-but-dead iPhone and that the $100 deductible would get me a new (like new refurbished - same model) phone over night. He gave me the website and telephone number and we parted company at about 2:30p. I went to have a hotdog and soda, and strawberry sundae at the food court and completed the claim before finishing my food. Easy peasy. A 5-star outcome. Next day - received the like new replacement and followed the easy setup instructions and was back in business, mostly. A 5-star outcome. So my near dead phone, which had to be sent back to the insurance folks was not even on its last leg anymore... barely breathing though. What to do!? Went back to Eddie, the T-Mobile Man-with-a-Plan, at the Airport Blvd. Costco and he said 'easy,' go to an Apple Store and they would be able to kill all the data and stuff before I sent it to the warranty folks. I did exactly that, successfully. Another 5-star outcome. In the end, it all worked out better than I expected it to. I was there to add another phone to my family plan, from a phone that was currently with T-Mobile. It was a fairly complicated process that I never would have been able to figure out on my own (the family member with the other phone was in Oakland, so we did everything over the phone). Johnathan kept at it, and was so patient when we had to wait for the phone to restart or software to download. While we were waiting he talked to me about my current plan, which was a pretty old one. He helped me find a new plan that will now cost $67 per month LESS than my old plan, even with this additional phone. Johnathan spent so much time with me, even though I'm sure he won't be earning commission on the transaction. He was very pleasant and patient, and got the new phone added to my plan. Denise explained the payment system clearly and in good detail to me, and told me about the latest promotion on getting a free phone if I switched. I was sold. A few days later, I came in to switch, but there were a few problems because my brother was the owner of the plan, and he didn't know his PIN. Vinh walked my brother on how to get that information over the phone. I totally commend Vinh for not losing his patience throughout the process. After I left the store, my brother was able to call AT&T and get their team to talk to the MetroPCS team to do the switch over. A few days later more, my new LG K10 kept on restarting randomly during the day, and it was pretty frustrating. Admittedly, I read a few forums online, and they suggested getting a new battery, so I came into the same MetroPCS yet again, and Megan and Vinh were able to painlessly swap out a battery for me... Except...that ended up not solving the issue. Finally, I came in today, since I talked to a lady on the phone, and she said I could come into MetroPCS to get a diagnostic test on what was happening on my phone. I came in with the intention of waiting for a while, but to my relief, Denise and Megan took one look at my situation and told me just to switch out the phone to a new phone. Hopefully there shouldn't be any more issues, but if there is, it's on the phone (I'll just give up and buy a new one), and not this team. After 1 hour and 30 minutes I spend in the store gentlemen let me know he can activate my phone and I need to get back tomorrow or may be several times to activate new phone which I was planning to buy from same store. They were able to complete this in half a day and I picked it up next morning. Odometer on my 2001 Toyota Camry was having issues on high temp days that cause the odometer to not display and the speedometer to remain only at zero. It seems to be a common issue with older 1997-2001 Camrys and the solution was to replace with a new resistor (I tried replacing the VSS, transmission solenoids, spark packs/wires/plugs, new alternator and battery) per a video on YouTube. They did a great job with the soldering of the new resistor and I put the odometer/speedometer back together and into the car with no issues. Now to see if this resolves my Camry issues! Big thank you to Andrea for her prompt replies to my questions and Carlos for ensuring that the techs knew what needed to be done!

Only when I push did they say the first $50 will be applied towards that price. So for a $600 laptop it would take $475 almost to fix it and there's only a 90 day warranty. Why don't I just go get a new laptop?
