I was in a pickle with a DYI project at the house and needed male and female 5.5 X 2.1 connectors, and 40' of 18/2 wire for a 12-volt DC circuit. I happened to be working on this project the week between Christmas and New Year's. I couldn't find a local supplier or an online retailer who had these items readily available for next day pickup, and that's when I reached out to Skycraft for help. Skycraft's online site showed the inventory was available, and when I called the following morning to verify, the staff member informed me; yes, these parts were in stock. I would love to give Skycraft 5-stars; however, I cannot for this review. If you are new to Skycraft, please know that they are a "self-service surplus," which means you are essentially on your own when shopping for your items. This place is a giant warehouse with many isles and rows which are not labeled like you would find at an ACE, HD, or Lowes. Yes, staff do help as needed, but you will not get the same customer service you will find at some of the bigger supply outlets. I had no idea where these items were hidden, and I had to ask for help three times because the associate would drop me off in front of what I needed then haul ass before asking me if I needed anything else. The mix of temperaments I experienced was off-putting. The Gal on the phone was great; the woman working the register was discombobulated and didn't want to deal with me at first, but was super friendly when I was checking out; one of the male associates in the back was irate about something and got even more pissed when a call came in for him, but the cashier did not transfer the call through; and the gentleman assisting me with finding my items was in a shit mood because the last two years have been terrible. No offense my man, but the last two years have been horrible for everyone including me, but I'm not projecting my negativity on you. Regardless of my experience, I highly recommend coming here if you are an avid DYI'er. Skycraft has just about anything you need to get the job done, and at a more affordable cost when compared to the big box stores and online suppliers.

The representative was busy with another customer, but acknowledged me and told me she will get with me in a couple minutes. Once she was ready, I told her I was looking for the Pixel 10 pro XL. She checked her computer on the availability, grabbed a key, went to the inventory, and showed me the phone. Since I knew what I was looking for, she didn't have to advertise the phone to me. I told her this is exactly what I wanted, and I was ready to buy. I did need a thick protective case and screen protector. She immediately got the OtterBox case, but told me that they were out of screen protectors. I told her the OtterBox was perfect and she got the phone and the case for me, checked me out quickly, and we finished about 20 minutes later. I am sorry I forgot her name, but our representative was so prompt, friendly, and helpful. Plus, I was about to get the phone for 250 off and the OtterBox on sale too! Because of her and the great deals, it's a 5 for me! The rest of the store looks like your typical Best Buy, with the security staff at the entrance for loss prevention. They were awesome to work with, and quite funny/entertaining throughout the process, from quote generation all the way to finishing the job. He was able to reply to my request for a quote very quickly, in fact Ben actually managed to come to my house to check out the space where I wanted everything installed THE SAME DAY I REQUESTED THE QUOTE. When we first spoke, he was very friendly and not pushy, like most sales people can be (I should know, I'm a salesman). Instead he asked lots of questions to figure out what I wanted to get out of my entertainment system and what type of budget I felt I was working with --- he didn't push me in any particular direction to try and sell the most expensive items. After providing him with all of this information, we came to discover that we both liked the same brands, so he suggested a very nice package for me, and then gave me options to choose from, while also explaining (with very great detail and a genuine interest/excitement) the differences of each option simple enough for me (not an audio/video wizard) to comprehend. Once I received the quote, I did a quick check online for every piece/part he suggested and quickly found that he wasn't trying to rip me off (AWESOME). Once we agreed on a quote he was able to quickly get the job done in the time he said he would do it. Once they finished the indoor job and did such a great job, I went back to him and asked him to install speakers outside around my pool --- THEY ARE AMAZING AND A TOTAL GAME CHANGER FOR ANYONE LOOKING TO ENTERTAIN POOLSIDE. The only negative thing I would say about this whole experience is now I will never leave my house, because my home entertainment system is amazing --- actually when Ben ran the audio test the first time after installation, I teared up a little because I was so excited to hear this insanely awesome sound system I had been wanting since I was a little kid. I highly recommend Ben and his team for any home theater/entertainment system you might be looking to install in your house/company/etc. Don't waste your time with the other guys!

    I had a really frustrating experience with Geek Squad, largely due to one employee--Keenan--whose…read morelack of professionalism set the tone from the very beginning. At my original appointment on April 7th at 5:40 PM, Keenan immediately came across as disinterested and dismissive. Before even properly assessing my issue, he brushed me off and said they might not be able to fix it anyway and that I'd probably be better off going directly to Apple. On top of that, I was then told the specific technician I needed was no longer there--even though the system allowed me to book that appointment time. So I was turned away entirely. I returned on April 15th, mistakenly thinking it was my rescheduled date. Despite that, the associate working that day was incredibly kind and tried to help me. She couldn't fit me in, but she made the effort and scheduled me properly for April 16th. She was a complete contrast--professional, helpful, and actually cared. When I came back on April 16th, I was once again helped by Keenan. The experience was just as disappointing. He had me sit and wait, and when he finally addressed me, he told me my AppleCare had expired the day before and that I'd now need to contact T-Mobile or go to Apple. This was extremely frustrating, because if I had simply been helped on my original appointment date, this would not have happened. What stood out the most was his attitude throughout both interactions--dismissive, unhelpful, and completely lacking any sense of urgency or accountability. It felt like he had no interest in assisting customers at all. This isn't a reflection of the entire Geek Squad team, as the associate I met on the 15th was great--but Keenan's behavior was consistently poor across multiple visits. Based on my experience (and similar feedback I've seen from others), this is something that seriously needs to be addressed.
