    Best Buy Outlet
    Mena M.

This is not your typical Best Buy store. They only have refurbished and open box appliances. If you're in the market for a fridge, washer, dryer, or microwave then there may be a deal there for you. The items were spread across the whole store, no shelves, and looks like a graveyard of open boxed items labeled "tested". I was hoping for a new sound bar surround sound system, GoPro accessories, or perhaps iPhone case. Unfortunately this Best Buy is just a catch all of large open box items...This place may not last long.

At this outlet they mostly sell scratch and dent appliances. There were some computers and televisions off to the right and left side but the inventory was minimal when compared to the amount of appliances. The store was staffed with a good amount of employees that are attentive. You will not be overlooked walking into the store. I can't say if the prices are good or not because I'm am out of touch with most of this type of merchandise. The televisions seemed to be priced low but you have to be careful going by price or a name brand. I learned the hard way to google model numbers and do my research beforE making a purchase.

Like other reviewers seem to have echoed, I have gone to other retail avenues for my electronics goods. I frequent online retailers like Amazon for the sheer simplicity of shopping, the lack of intrusive sales people, and heck, let's be honest: no sales tax! That being said, this Best Buy isn't as great as some of the others. In fact, its pretty bad. The sales people are helpful for the most part (if you can find one), especially the nice gentleman from Samsung in the TV department (forgot his name, sorry - I think it was Matt?) However, the detriment to their salesforce (and this experience) was their "Apple expert." (His name might have been Matt, too) I knew more about Apple than he did, although he claimed that he knew significantly more than he let on. In fact, he stressed that he was the "Apple expert" several times during the sales diatribe. He proceeded to show off his Apple "pieces of flair" not unlike that of a TGI Friday's employee circa 1998. What I think was going to be a in and out experience turned out to be a 30 to 45 minutes sales presentation. I knew exactly what I wanted and what I came in for yet he insisted on filling out all of these pictures with "recommendations" that were completely unnecessary, unwarranted, and irrelevant. Every time I said, "No, I don't need that." He said, "Yeah, management makes me...blah blah blah." He blamed that these sales procedures on management, and then proceeded to use the phrase "that's BS" several times during his little. He stated, "I don't like to be an A-hole to my customers," but then proceeded to tack on unnecessary items to my order. (Who needs AntiVirus for an iPad, really??). Not to be outdone, he saw a group of young ladies and commented, (creepily) "that's nice." After 20 agonizing minutes of listening to this guy go on and on about how he knows so much about Apple products and he is the shining example of their sales team: I got my merchandise. As he went to ring me up, I asked him if I could apply a reward certificate to my purchase. He said "no problem." Apparently, there was a problem because it required a team of physicists, six trained monkeys, a marching band, Stephen Hawking's notes on the black holes, five calculators, and the sales manager. And to top off my visit (I am a glutton for punishment), I stopped at the Geek Squad counter to have them install something for me. I was in the line and walked by several times over the course of five minutes not so much as a "We'll be right with you." I decided I would do it on my own at home and I left. Summary: 1) sales people think its okay to use "a-holes", "that's BS" and creepily comment on female customers 2) unnecessary add ons despite customer objection 3) long waits 4) clean store 5) plenty of parking

A Samsung Edge S7 once sold by Best Buy and Verizon. Superseded by models whose batteries do not heat up, swell and catch fire..
    Steven L.

You know, you drop $700 on a Samaung S7 Edge cell phone, you expect a little more. For instance, it would be great if the sealed battery compartment did warp and the phone didn't heat up like it was going to explode two months after the warranty expired. Like I said, the little things. It would be nice if when you returned it to Verizon where you purchased the phone, or Best Buy which houses a Samsung representative, you didn't get into this game of pass the buck. Verizon sends you to Samsung (hey, that's obviously product defect, he said) and Samsung sends you to a third party repair contractor UBreak IFix which reports the entire Samsung Corp refuses to call them back to authorize covered repairs. Samsung Corp customer says send us the phone to evaluate, maybe Verizon will front you a loaner. The Samsung rep back at Best Buy reports, "I wouldn't carry that phone. It's a fire hazard." It's just the way corporate business operates. Once you pay, don't expect any commitment to quality or customer service. Check out the photo of how Samsung defines quality.

Discounted prices are almost the same as regular bestbuy sale prices! Occasionally you do run into few items a lot cheaper than sales

A person who identified himself as the store manager said he could assist me. Before going to the store, my electrician had texted me a supply list clearly stating #2 cable. While in the store, the manager went to the machine, selected a cable, and said, "Are you sure? This is a big cable." I asked him directly if it was #2 cable, and he said yes. I explained that this was what the electrician requested. Because the manager continued to say the cable was "big," I called the electrician while standing in the store, and he again confirmed that we needed #2 cable. Based on the manager's confirmation, he cut the cable, and I completed the purchase at 12:23 PM, as shown on my receipt. When I got home, the electrician immediately told me the cable was not #2, but 2/0 cable, which is significantly larger and more expensive. My wife returned to the store with the cable while I stayed to help with the installation. The same manager refused the return, stating there were no returns on cut cable. I did not make a mistake -- the store manager did by selling me the wrong cable after confirming it was #2. Despite having proof of the requested size, the store refuses to issue a refund, and corporate has been no help. Be aware: not even a store manager seems to know what they are selling.

UPDATE: I ahe to update this review based on a customer service experiance i had in store. I went…read morein to get some poajt samples mixed again. Ended up spaking with one of the mangers, a Mitch for an extended period of time. He could not have been nicer. I mentioned that one of the samples I had purchased two days prior was both not mixed completely, not was not the correct color - it was WAY off from what it should have been despite the label being correct. He comped me one of the samples I went into for that day as compensation, making the botched one essentially free, which I was not after but I appreciated. However the real customer service came in when I got to my car and could not find my phone. I am a content creator and work primarily from my phone. So loosing it is a huge hassle for me. I went back in and looked at the two places I had been - the paint counter and self check out. Not there. Mitch saw me, apparently looking frantic and stopped me to see if he could help. He proceeded to walk me all over this store. Got another manager involved who affered to check security footage. There was a woman working the customer service desk (I believe her name was Dana but I may be wrong as this was a few days ago) who immediately offered up her personal Iphone so that I could log into my findMy iPhone and let me walk all overt the store and out to the lot with her personal phone. It innitally could not find it so we all assumed my phone had been stolen. But then it came online. We were able to locate it 0 it has somehow fallen out of my car and behind the back wheel without my hearing that (how I have no idea) but the whole process took 20ish min and Mitch and Dana completely dropped what they were doing to help me. They did not have to do this and it was gracious of them to do so. Made a Lowes customer out of me for life. I am so thankful. Original review (3 stars): Generally staff is friendly and helpful. That's really all I want or need when in store as a DIYer who doesn't look like someone who is completely renovating their home most by themselves. No condescension or sexism experienced which as a woman is sometimes (read *often*) a problem at home improvement stores

We have only ever used them so we had no idea where to look. My wife enlisted Yelp to help us. She put in some request for quotes and received a few back pretty quickly. We had never used that but it was very helpful. Quality Masters was the first to respond and then also took time to message back and forth with her. The other companies were not as friendly and responsive. We also read their Yelp reviews, which we all good, so we figured we would use them. We were able to make the appointment for the next day and were able to do it all through text. It was very simple for us! There was a moment of uncertainty but they were extremely professional and friendly. I was going to be home while my wife was at work, so on the day of our appointment, they were running early. They called asking if early would be ok, so our appointment was moved up. I cannot remember his name, but the technician that came was very knowledgeable and professional. He pinpointed the issue immediately. He discovered our dryer was clogged with lint and the coils were bad. It makes sense since we had never had our vents cleaned. He was able to replace the coils, as well as sucking out as much lint as he could with his tools. Unfortunately, they do not clean vents like that but again, he could help us out with some of it. He also made suggestions as to what else needed to be done, really with just getting the vents cleaned. They also take your payment online either with credit card, for a small fee, or Zelle or Venmo. The invoice will be emailed to you and allow you to pay that way. Personally, we do not prefer to pay for services with Zelle so we used a credit card. It was very simple. I thought overall the price they charged for the coils and cleaning, was very reasonable. It did not cost us much at all. I would definitely use them again, should we need something fixed.
