Absolutely not under no circumstance. I called because my dryer was overheating. The agent says OK it's $109 for the diagnostic but we'll take that off the bill once the technician gets there. If you decide to have the work done, I said fine technician comes out. Said it's a clogged dryer vent. Your duck needs to be cleaned out $199 so they never took 109 off basically charge me $300 to clean out a dryer vent, then acted like it was a big damn chore to clean up the lint in the laundry room that he cleaned out expected me to do it, which was completely unacceptable and then the entity pulled out on the roof from above. He just left on the roof to go into my gutter. This company is a complete rip off under no circumstance use them. I don't know why they have such a high rating. It's beyond me. I could not even get a quote to clean out a dryer vent from them over the phone, they said the technician makes that determination. This company is nothing but a scam ripping people off. read more

Yes, I will use this company again. (1) they answered the call and engaged appropriately. (2) So challenging to engage with someone not speaking English. Note that if I talk to you in English and you speak to me in Spanish that is fine but what about everyone else? Learn your language craft. This means you don't have to know English from school but all words that have to do with appliance. (3) There was confusion on the deposit for the initial work. They charged each and every time to pay for a credit card so fee for first appointment and then fee for work. (4) they wanted all money upfront and I said "No, because I paid for the appointment, and the work wasn't done yet and a part needed to be ordered." (5) what is NOT fair is to pay for ALL before work is COMPLETED. So they took 1/2 and I had to pay cash for the rest to avoid another fee. That was nice and acceptable. (6) suggestion: appliance USA pro pay all credit card fees after first payment is taken. Called Appliances USA Pro to repair my 2 year old GE front load washing machine. As the washer was still within its 10 year limited warrantee, we confirmed with the appointment setter that Appliances USA Pro would be able to repair the GE washer and apply any warrantee as applicable. When the technician arrived, I posed the same question to him and received the same response with the caveat that "the office" would make the applicable warrantee adjustment to the cost of the repair. When called by "the office" to negotiate the cost of the repair, I was given a price representing nearly half the cost of a new machine. That seemed a bit high. I inquired about the warrantee offset and was told that Appliances USA Pro has no affiliation with GE and that they were unable to submit any warrantee claim. When I asked if they guaranteed their work, Appliances USA Pro said they did for labor only (not the part) for 60 days. I asked for the cost of the part so I would know my liability. Appliances USA Pro told me it was a package deal and refused to provide the cost of the part. We went back and forth for about 10 minutes and the Appliance USA Pro rep (now someone senior to the individual who was first on the phone with me) indicated the part was a flat $250. Given my time on the phone, I was able to confirm the highest retail price for the part from several sources online was $165. Having been an appliance serviceman for years, the scam feels real... 1. A new part should come with a warrantee 2. Invoices should be broken down into parts and labor 3. The fact that the price quoted for the part took so long to get and was so excessive compared with several other retail sources further suggests unreputable business practices at the least We won't be doing business with Appliances USA Pro and recommend this business be avoided if at all possible. read more
