That's what separates the fly-by-nights from businesses which have been around for 30+ years. I recently damaged my flatscreen 32" LED TV, which is only a year old. Rather than buy another new one, I figured I'd try getting this one repaired. I called Mcvey Electronics twice around lunchtime, got an answering machine both times, and didn't leave a message. He took the initiative to call me back anyway, seeing that I had called, to see if he could help me with anything. Try getting Walmart or another big business to call you back. That shows quality, personable service. I spoke with the gentleman regarding the problem with my TV and explained that there was an impact strike beneath the LED screen. He was honest and up front, explaining that I could buy a new TV for around the same price it'd cost to repair this one. He could've attempted to repair it and charged me hundreds of dollars, but instead he chose to give me honest advice - and probably cost himself a repair job in the meantime. I am an electronics and radio enthusiast. I'll use Mcvey Electronics for any repair work that I ever need done, simply because his response time was fast and because he had the integrity to save me from a costly repair.

Only polite request I ever reecived was not to show up 5 minutes before they close with a full truck If I have anything that I am not sure about, I go with a sample and ask if they take items like that. As to the review from a few years ago about being yelled at by "rednecks", I can only say that I would have just ignored somebody like that and gone and talked to the boss in the office to tell the guy off. I think these characters are no longer there. Also, complaining about what they pay is useless. They state clearly that everything you bring to them it is just metals, so what an item cost originally or is worth is of no concern. Just ask your self why you are "recycling" ? For me it is not to make money. I don't follow the going rates for metals. I like to do good for the environment and the few bucks you get can be spent at the hot dog place next door:-) It's close to where I work and I am happy to have this place for drop off, instead of putting stuff into regular garbage. May times I am just happy to leave stuff without being paid.

This department store is a solid, reliable stop when shopping at the mall. It has a wide selection…read moreof clothing, shoes, home goods, and accessories, making it easy to knock out multiple shopping needs in one place. The store is generally well-organized, with clear sections and helpful signage, and most items are easy to find without wandering too much. Staff interactions were mostly positive--available when needed without being pushy. Checkout was smooth, and there were decent sales running, which always helps make the visit feel worthwhile. A few areas could use improvement. Some sections felt a bit crowded or outdated, and inventory in certain sizes or styles was hit or miss. During busier times, lines can build up quickly, especially at customer service. Overall, it's a dependable department store that does what it's supposed to do. Not flashy, but convenient, practical, and a good anchor store.

I arrived there about 30 mins before their close time but unfortunately they had some issues that caused them to close early. Anyways, I spoke with the owner John and he said he was gonna return in an hour so I decided to grab something to eat then head back since it was a decent drive from my house. Took a little longer than an hour, but things happen. When John got there, he gladly changed the cartridge for me on the spot (during after hours) and I hung out there while listening to some music on his killer setup. He was a very friendly guy that got the job done in 30 mins and for a reasonable price. My advice is to call before you go to make sure that they're open but they're a great little shop that has plenty of experience (27 years worth!) I'll definitely be returning I'm sure for all related repairs/audio purchases.
