I was about to shut him down since I have been subjected to the hard sales pitch in the past from other similar enterprises, but something about Christian's attitude kept us interested He gave us options for upgrading our phones, which we weren't interested in, but then he started explaining to us some Internet options since we are currently with a competitor and he had mentioned he could do much better than their pricing. I must say that Christian was great to deal with. He wasn't pushy or overbearing he was not into the hard sell. He clearly was looking for ways to help us reduce our cost for service services. We listened to what he said, and agreed to a trial run, which he said would be at no charge, which I found extremely interesting. He then gave us his personal cell number and said if we had any issues or questions he would be glad to help. Christian made this a personal experience rather than a corporate shoving it down your throat experience. If everything works out as he explained it would Verizon would get a new customer for Internet and if it doesn't work out as he said, he mentioned that he could easily reverse anything that had been set up without us receiving any bills for it. So far we highly recommend Christian and this particular branch of Verizon. Hopefully everything he discussed will prove to be accurate but at least for now we are quite happy with his presentation.

While it wasn't exactly cheap, they restored all of the files on the USB drive including the ones I had lost on my computer. That was great. Also, last year our computer was acting up and running slow so I brought it here. They did a scan of the hard drives and reformatted parts of the storage so that we had more free space (so our computer wouldn't crash every time we needed to do something) and removed some programs we didn't need (after consulting with us first). I asked if that is a flat fee if they are successful or unsuccessful. He said it was. I asked in there would be any additional fees, he said no. He said if they have to mail it out if they can't figure it out then it would be extra. I told him to not mail it out without first calling me to approve or not approve. He also asked if I wanted them to put the files on a hard drive which would be extra. I said no and asked if I could bring my own hard drive to transfer the files. He said yes. I asked if I should just bring it at a later date to do that and he said yes. He told me it would take 10-12 days. On day 14 I still hadn't heard back so I called. The guy who answered didn't know what I was talking about and had to call me back. Another call where the guy seemed confused about what I was asking. At this point I lost the tiny bit of confidence I had with this place. He called back a second time and said they recovered my files and I asked can I bring my hard drive at 3pm the next day to get my files. He said yes. I arrive the next day to be told by the store manager that it will cost me another $75 to transfer files to my hard drive. I refused to pay and told him nobody said anything about a hidden data transfer fee. He said then I couldn't have my files I paid $162 for them to recover. I was so upset and he admitted it was possible his staff neglected to tell me 2 different times there was this hidden fee. He offered to charge me $50 not $75 for the error. Had I known upfront it would cost $237 not $162 I would never have hired this shady company. I am skeptical and think this is a normal predatory practice of this place

Not long before closing up shop sometime in March 2019, I had my iPhone battery replaced. It was $79.99. Within a month, something in my phone starts rattling around. A short time after that the phone had issues accepting the power to the form the lightening cable. I called Phone Wizard who I discovered had gone belly-up. So I took it elsewhere. These folks opened up my phone and told me the following: "Your battery is is barely connected by a tiny power cord to the rest of the phone. That's what rattling around. Also, whoever put the battery in gave you a used battery that was literally glued in place." Totally unacceptable. I had to pay $60 for another (new) battery because the good folks at Phone Wizard seemingly had at best had no clue what they were doing, or at worst willfully screwed me over. Shame on these people and their business practices.

I gladly took over the Razr and became the authorized representative for her Verizon bill. It wasn't long before the Motorola Razr became outdated and a new iPhone was the replacement. I removed everything from the Razr and gave it to a friend that didn't have a phone. I'm mad at myself for not keeping it. It was a classic. If I could get a phone in that style with all my Apple capabilities I'd buy it! Are you listening Apple? Flash forward to this past week when I heard on the news that Motorola is coming out with a new flip phone that can also be clasped on your wrist like a watch. That definitely sounds interesting! I give Motorola four stars because of my love for my original mobile flip phone. I'd definitely like to see their latest innovation in flip phones.
