I made an appointment with the "Geek Squad" to repair the back of my iPhone. The store's scheduled closing time that day was 9 PM. I spoke with the manager on site, who tried to help by calling the "Geek Squad tech" back. Once again, I did not feel like a valued customer. When I asked why they would accept a repair appointment if they didn't have a technician available to complete the job, the tech simply shrugged, as if he couldn't care less. At that point, I realized I was just wasting my time dealing with someone who clearly had no concern for customer satisfaction or retention. The worst part is that I have been a Best Buy customer for many years. I even have their credit card and extended warranties for my 65" TV. Needless to say, Best Buy lost a customer today. I am canceling my Best Buy credit card and extended warranties, and I will never set foot in a Best Buy store again.
