I arrived mid-day after an appointment had been made to speak to a rep about the internet package, as ordering online did not allow for pickup for some reason. I arrived at 15:30 to a hand-written sign reading "on lunch - back in 30," with absolutely no indication of time or how long we'd have to wait. After 20 minutes, I was let in and the staff member did not seem to know much about the promotion. There were a lot of inconsistencies with the sign up process, how much it was going to cost (vs. what the online portal was showing me), and overall logistics of the trial. It was a challenging half hour and although I did leave with my new T-Mobile Internet router, the time wasted waiting for them to be open due to unclear communication and feeling like the representative was not very well informed left me feeling meh. So it was not great coming here, but I did leave with what I wanted. Plus I found out the monthly payment amount WAS what I expected and not what was quoted at the store.

Jayden was very friendly and while he was working with one person he communicated with everyone else who was waiting. It felt friendly and comfortable. No one was upset about the wait. The store was obviously understaffed but Jayden made the best of a tough situation. When it was my turn Jayden was very knowledgeable and efficient. I was happily satisfied and on my way in no time. Anyone who has bought a phone before knows it can be a grueling experience, but this time it wasn't. In fact the previous customer returned a few minutes later and had her daughter bring Jayden some snacks. Honestly I was so offended at the Capitola store I was dreading having to buy a phone but with Jayden it was easy and pleasant. If you're shopping for a phone in Santa Cruz, avoid Capitola. My son took it to Apple Store in San Francisco to see what's going on with it. According to the guys at the Apple Store, NOTHING WAS DONE and the computer is not repaired. They basically took advantage of a young, naive college student. What a scam! Do not under any circumstances go here for your repairs. Go to the manufacturer no matter how inconvenient. We tried calling the store and attempting to give them a chance to fix the issue or give us a refund (per the Apple Store suggestion) and they blew us off. I'm including photos of the "fixed" item to show nothing was done. The laptop was mailed back so all this was discovered after delivery. Shame on these scammers.
