So Verizon it is. I went into the Verizon Store in Sugarhouse, and also the one in the Gateway, but found both to be rather busy, crazy, 'take a number and wait in line' type places. I did enjoy trying out the phones there, as they were all hooked up and ready to go, not just non-working "models" but real phones available to play with. But I just don't like waiting for salesguys with lots of people, screaming babies and very few places to sit down and ask lots of questions. They are not comfortable stores. I happened to be in Centerville, and spotted the My Bullfrog sign with the Verizon logo. Ah. Peace. No crazy crowds, no long waits, just nice salespeople with soft voices. They were full of information, matched the smoking phone deal I had found online, were very kind to my elderly mother who was excited to have a very nice camera in her new cellphone. Bonus, a free membership card for $15 for stuff from their store, and then they sent me another one in the mail. I just bought a car charger from them for 35 cents after the discounts and bonus card. Another bonus, a new cellphone came out just as my "one month" trial period was expiring, and I traded in my Voyager for a juicy EnV Touch which I am CRAZY about. They were very friendly, took their time and were able to answer every question I threw their way. If you're going Verizon, save the headache and go to My Bullfrog.
