Only reason I give 4 stars is because the one and only time I actually went to the mall specifically to come here, I didn't have the best experience. I called them prior to coming to ask if they buy cards. They said they did and I told them I was on my way. When I got there , they told me that they wouldn't actually pay cash for the cards and only do so on Wednesdays. Seems like that is something they should have told me when I was on the phone with them. That said, I still recommend coming here and will continue to do so myself

Today I had some records I was going to bring in to sell, but I knew I was coming a kinda close to closing time so I called beforehand and asked if they'd have time to go through them tonight and they said yes. I told them I had a 20 minute drive and I'd be there soon and they said that would be okay. Sublime. So I drove there with all my stuff in my car and brought it inside and they're all like "we can't take these today, bring them in next week." Hello? I just drove 20 minutes to get here because you told me it was fine! I asked if I could leave the stuff there and they said there was "nothing they could do." Shameful. Graywhale's customer service has never been great but I expected they'd try to do something to make it right. These people do not care about their customers! Go to Randy's Records instead. They have a better selection and better prices!

They were able to take it apart and get it squared away with a fantastic turn around time. My repair was quick, but I was also super happy with the employees taking time to trouble shoot with me and determine that my switch dock was also fried, contributing to the problem with my diagnosis. Either way, I ended up spending a reasonable amount instead of buying a new console. I would highly recommend.

And interestingly enough, they have a bunch of hot wheels and die cast cars. Which is unusual for a game store like this, but pretty cool! The first time I came in they were dealing with a rude, inconsolable customer who was trying to return a gift card with no balance on it. I felt it's worth mentioning because these two maintained their professionalism when they could have easily asked this customer to leave the store. My second visit I came to buy a game, return an item and sell old games. As we all know, GameStop doesn't pay much for games. They offered me $3.50 for the two old games I brought in, I chose to keep them! Always an option for you who are offended that they don't pay enough for your old games that you don't even want anymore! (Or sell them online!) these two also went above and beyond to help me utilize a BOGO offer that I'd missed last time I came in, they didn't have to do that! In the end I've had great, quick experiences with the staff at this store and plan to stop in more often though I don't purchase many games anymore!
