I had called customer service to get an upgraded phone and at the end by bill had jumped about $40, no idea why. So, got super confused and said that I'd just go into the store. Turns out the store at City Creek had closed but this one at the Gateway just opened. Talked with Philip Philips at the Gateway, got a new phone, bill remained the same, and he made sure all my data got transferred correctly. While I was there he also helped out multiple other people, everyone was super happy with the service whether they got a phone from him or not, this is the type of person you want to deal with on a daily basis.

Got to the shop but parts were used for another customer, no problem. They could order another. The clerk in charge couldn't determine if my Pixel was eligible for warranty and suggested I return Wednesday to have the manager make that determination. She didn't sound like she had any intention of warranting the part but promised to call when the part is in stock and we could begin the warranty process. She sounded like she was there to provide customer service but had no intention of actually providing it. You'll have to hound them like I did. I asked for a discount because they were soooooo slow, that was a "no" from the district manager and the scrawney smart-ass kid behind the counter said, "Hey, you got your iPad back, man!" I won't be taking any more repairs to this business, and my kids are rough on their iPads. They just lost a lot of future business. What idiots!
