This is a brand new Verizon! Amazing customer service ! Miguel was great! He saved us money on our bill and we all got the new iPhone 17s!

This store doesn't deserve any stars!!! The worst service I have ever had. The manager was a so unprofessional and rude!!! I went in because I can't get service at my work which is supposed to be by the tower and have the best reception. I walked out with a new plan that I didn't want and was lied too!! It took me out of my grandfathered plan that I can never get back. When I tried to change back to my original plan the same day ( which I was told I could) it was no longer available. I went back in and talked to the manager about changing back and he treated me so like crap. He was with another customer when I walked in and he said "your back, what do you want now"! When I told him I wanted to change my plan back, he told me that I'll have to wait. He told a coworker to get my plan back up and he would sign it. Then he said to myself and the customer that "even though he is a manager, he still works on commissions and he really doesn't have time for this stuff"!!! My husband was furious and said, to him "and that's why you changed my wife's plan because you wanted to make a commissions"!!! the customer looked at us and said he was there for the same reason. He did not change my plan back to the original plan that was no longer available because it was a grandfathered plan that I couldn't get back. I went home and I no longer had my bundle package, which I got free with my phones when I signed up. My plan was supposed to be $30 cheaper and it end up being only $10 cheaper. I ended up calling Verizon on the phone. Spoke with some other person that wouldn't do anything for me so I asked to speak with his manager. After an hour of arguing with this gentleman, he told me he would finally get me my bundle package back. My plan would be cheaper and I also had to pay $150 for a new activation fee! We now have a bundle package, but we have commercials with it, which we did not have before. So basically I went in to talk to somebody about getting a technician over by my work to see about the service over there and instead I left with a terrible plan. Lost my great plan that I had for 30 years! I was lied to four different times from four different people! Found out that you can't have a technician come there. They just have to put a work order in and hopefully somebody will come check it out!! I still have extremely crappy service and unless I'm hooked up to my work Wi-Fi, I cannot get service in my building!! Was told the reason why I don't get good service is because I have a new apartment complex next to my work that blocks the Reception!! I found out that the store in Murray Utah on 4700 S. 900 E. is not a true Verizon store. They are contracted through Verizon and they do not care about Verizon's policies... they are only there to make their commissions. Worst experience I've ever had and I will tell everyone I know about my experience so they don't have to go through what I did!! This store is the most dishonest people I have ever worked with. Please be aware that Verizon is on the verge of closing all of their corporate offices and contracting third parties to manage their sales and service. What this means is that no two stores will be the same and trying to handle issues at one store is not possible if you are set up at another store. It also means that trying to get a unified answer is near impossible. I spoke with 5 representatives in total. John, Noir, James, and two phone reps with Indian names and accents. All of them had different answers. I gathered my girlfriend and my brother and convinced them to join on a plan with me for the 40/month special that was going on for Black Friday. John, who was at the Orem Cellular Sales office, gave us a quote on what it would look like for us to join. We got excited that Verizon was throwing us devices, (i-phones 16, i pads, and an I watch) all to join the plan and switch from T-Mobile. Plus they also said they would throw us $600 ($200 each) if we added insurance and service on the new devices. The bill was quoted to us at around $70 per person. $40 for the service, $10 for the i pad lines and $20 for the insurance. We expected that we would have to pay for the taxes up front for the devices. When we were ringed out it was 434.02. I assumed that this was for taxes for the 6 devices that were included. (I came to realize that this was not the case. $180 of this was for device start up service fee, which John didn't actually help us with nor did he order my device as he was supposed to.) I never received a receipt of these charges until a month later. We all went home and tried our new devices. John didn't port my brother's phone correctly and we had to do it ourselves after my brother couldn't link to any bank accounts due to not being able to receive texts. When I received the bill a couple weeks later, I was livid. It was 572.89. that was 190 per person. Even with removing the activation fees, it was close to 112/person. Not to mention my I Pad wasn't included so it would have been $66 more. I realized that the $600 that they threw at us was really just for them to justify their own fees that they include on the first bill. I end up calling the customer line and I got a very stressed out agent from India who wanted nothing more to 'assure me that everything will be cheaper.' She informed me that she would apply the $600 to the first bill and that we wouldn't have to worry about paying and she would put in a request to remove the activation fees. But that wasn't going to get the bill to the agreed upon $70. All that would do would bring it down to $99 even after the auto pay discount. I realized after analyzing the bill that there are $20 of surcharges and taxes payable to various state and local governments. Each device had surcharges and taxes applied every month which added a good 20% to our bill. I have been a customer of T-Mobile for over a couple decades and I have never seen a company make their customers pay their companies own taxes. (Granted, T mobile is a German company and they understand that you put taxes inside the price so what you see is what you get and America doesn't do that.) After seeing the snowball of dishonesty from each representative I talked with, I decided to take advantage of their "Worry-Free" Guarantee which is if you are not satisfied within 30 days you can get your money back. This is such a misnomer. Each device you return has a $50 restocking fee and the non-refundable $60 service charge. (The one we never used). So the t$434 that I paid on day one that I thought was just taxes. I only got $102 back. This completely awful experience cost the three of us $332. Just imagine going to the opposite of Disney Land with your friends for the same price, that is what you can expect from Verizon. read more

Had to drive here to get the phone I wanted in stock and got prompt service. Cameron was great. Purchasing a new phone always takes longer than I would like, but I know he did his best to get me in and out quickly. If you are headed in to get a new iphone, remember to back up your phone at home before you go for a faster set up experience! read more

Got there 20 minutes BEFORE closing time and they were already locked up!! Then a kid came to the door and said we are closing soon so we just locked the doors! I said I want to be a new customer and he said we can't help you! WTF read more

Dishonest Verizon dealer. No integrity. My review below was posted here under 5 stars for a couple of months, but now this store's true colors has shown. I called and was quoted some very specific pricing for two Apple watches. I was told I would be eligible for a significant discount per watch if I purchased the watches and activated them. So I left the retail merchant where I had intended to purchase the watches to buy them at this Verizon dealer and as it turns out, the the dealer had their data wrong and will not honor any of their promises. So, two hours later, I'm back to square one with zero regard or empathy from this dealer. No desire from this dealer to even attempt to try to make this right, even though they acknowledge they misinformed me. Downgrading to one star and will take my Business Account business elsewhere. Thank you Cellular Sales Verizon for wasting my time and demonstrating zero character This is the place to go in the area. Worked with Alex and Simon. They were great - friendly, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Lots of product and accessories to choose from. Reasonable return policies. Discovered this store after a horrendous experience at the Victra Farmington Verizon store. This store and staff is 100x better than the under-stocked Farmington store and their team of grumpy, unprofessional staff with absurd return policies. Trust me, it's worth the time. read more

My daughter's phone randomly started shutting off. We went to Cellular Sales and David did everything he could to try and fix it. We eventually had to get a new phone, but we got a great deal and David was very helpful! read more

The customer service at this Verizon dealer in kaysville was awful. When we walked in to get an upgrade on an iPhone, we were welcomed by Employee 1. He sat us down, pulled out his iPad, sat there for a good couple minutes without asking us anything, then called over to Employee 2 and asked him if they could switch jobs and Employee 2 should help us and he'll go do other things. Employee 1 then stated he was the floor manager and had other things he needed to get done. Seriously? Employee 2 was nice enough, but didn't seem to know how to work the system very well and Employee 1 had to keep coming over to help, which was surprising because he said he had other things he needed to do. every phone we asked for, they didn't have in stock (which I get, but they didn't offer any solution, like calling another store to hold, or even tell us what they did have in stock). After what felt like forever, and ridiculous activation fees (I recommend going to Layton where the corporate store is to avoid those fees) we were told everything was good to go. Except when we got home, the phone didn't work because...drum roll please...They didn't even activate it. After a couple phone calls to them, we were told it should work but might take an hour. Still hasn't. Had to go to the actual Verizon store to get it done. NEVER AGAIN. read more

Wish I could make a zero star rating. I was quoted 'buy one get one free' for new Apple phones. Now my bill has posted and I'm paying full price for two new phones...with outrageous activation fees! Just verify pricing and receipts before walking out - if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! read more

Bought a new iphone 11. The sales rep was completely misleading. I inquired about extra fees beyond the price of the phone. I was trying to evaluate whether to buy at Verizon or buy directly from Apple. He communicated that there would be a $40 connection fee. After about an hour of waiting, I'm asked if I want to buy the insurance plan. I say no thanks, I get Apple's insurance plan. After spending 10-15 minutes of listing to the sales rep put the hard sell on Verizon's insurance plan, he brings over his manager. The manager says he has to approve when a customer rejects the insurance plan, then continues to repeat the same things the sales rep already communicated for another 10 minutes. I was very patient, but was starting to get annoyed. I paid for a majority of my phone and look at the receipt to see an $80 service fee. Obviously, I was surprised and ask if he accidentally charged me double the service fee on accident. He said no, $40 for Verizon and $40 for the sales rep commission. I was frustrated with this response and said that's not what was communicated. He disagreed and became defensive. So I waited for an hour and 20 minutes, got a hard sales pitch for insurance by two different people, and scammed an extra $40 service fee. If I hadn't already waited and paid, I would have definitely gone elsewhere. Perhaps it comes down to the individual you work with, but the two people I worked with had no integrity and were as shady as it gets. read more
