Placed an order for an item they showed as being in stock on Nov 17th and after purchase, received an email stating it now wasn't in stock and wouldn't be for 4-7 days. 14 days later and I've not heard from them so I send an email... only to have it bounce back as they haven't bothered setting up the email address correctly in their WebStore. Finally I get an update on Dec 01st stating the order has shipped... but now it's 4 days later and the USPS status still shows as the item is awaiting pickup and not even left their facility. I wanted to buy a pair of the DPA 4060's stereo pair on their website. So I did just that. The website failed to mention they were out of stock I was told to wait 2-3 weeks. I couldn't wait that long as I had some recording to do the following week! Anyhow they kindly issued my refund but the problem is it could take up to 30 days to get the money back on my card. What a waste of my time. If you don't have something in stock, please clearly state it. I will not be doing business with these guys again. These guys are simply the best in Salt Lake. I've been a regular customer for a few years now and have had many positive experiences with them, but I'll just mention my most recent one here. I went in the other day to get a shock mount for an obscure vintage condenser mic. They didn't have one that would fit (it's a huge mic) and even after a quick Internet search we still couldn't find anything. Then Dan (one of their sales associates) remembered an old shock mount they kept around as a store demo. We tried it and it fit! I offered to pay and they wouldn't take my money. I went in to check some Shure headphones, and instead of hyping up the more expensive product, they referred me to EarBombz for around $30, which met my needs and more and knocked a bit off the price as well. They refuse to fulfill the order because they claim the address does not match my billing address. I quadruple checked the address is correct. A dozen other websites have no problem with the address I provided and they are happy to take my money. I sent several emails with no response. I've had my card stolen in the past and my credit card companies had NO problem shipping to the wrong address, which wasn't even close. But for some reason I now have a problem with the correct address. They need to either process my order or cancel it but I can't get a hold of anyone there! At some random point in the future they might take my money and I may have already purchased my item from another place. read more

He even did a search on a low cost new receiver and sent me off to Best Buy. I purchased a new needle and cartridge for my Numark turntable in July of 2015. I moved across the country and opened up the case in October. I bought a pair of sony mdr 7506 mixing headphones that had an electrical fault and like an idiot, I brought them back, 2 days out of warranty, no box, no receipt and they still took care of me. For that service, I would be willing to pay the markup of floor retail, but they still go above and beyond for me. I left that day with a new focusrite audio interface I was on the fence about and their service sold the product. When my wonderful vintage 1980 speakers finally fell apart, I wanted to buy a new set. I quickly gave up on the big box stores. I called PA, and they made it clear that I could try out multiple speakers in their testing room. I went there, and was cordially helped by a young fellow. I quickly realized that my ears were "old-fashioned," and I hated the modern, high-pitched speakers coupled with subwoofers. There just seem to be no fullness to their sound; they lack midrange. Up on a shelf was pair of used JBL Studio Monitors, with a "SOLD" tag on them. Hearing our conversation, and understanding what I was after, the boss stuck his head in, and indicated that those JBLs were available. We hooked them up...oh baby did they sound great! With an 11" woofer, the bass was phenominal, without the annoying booming of a subwoofer. The treble was sharp, without being painful. I bought 'em. The boss even threw in 30 feet of high-quality speaker cable!! I have been extremely happy with them ever since! For friendly service PA can't be beat.
