I love the variety of phone cases Zagg offers within the company, but they don't do what they are designed and advertised to do so. Within the years of my use of Zaggs phone cases I have had 2 phones absolutely shatter while using these cases. They advertise for 16' drop protection but it can't withstand 3'. This is utmostly frustrating because the $60 case can't withstand commons drops of the phone. Although my loyal experience to this company, I would not recommend it to someone who is looking to protect their phone (unless it's a screen protector).

Now the store who can verify my purchase won't warranty or replace and and insisted that I pay full price for another screen. After speaking to Zagg Corporate in Midvale the screen is not even required for warranty and is not required for credit when replacing the screen protector. Very unprofessional service will not be using Zagg for future screens or products. Tried to resolve this and the stored refused to resolve this issue. I would be amenable to changing my review if the store management is willing to honor my warranty for the protective glass. 29 December 2025 Update Still no response from mangement called twice with no response or help. Has not returned messages left with store employees despite promises to return my call. O2January2026 Store has failed to return calls or even work with me on the replacement of my screen protector.

I read about going to non-Apple places to get parts replaced and apparently I should've read that before I went there because I would know why I can't pick up phone calls, why I can't hang up phone calls, why I can't hear people, and why the screen is black while someone is still talking, and the icons aren't working. When you try to call them to talk to them, their voicemail picks up and then tells you it's full awesome business! Now I have a phone that I can't use. Thank you ZAGG! So your company wants me to pay more for a defective product that only worked for 5 months? ZAGG customer service rep (Jordan) said it's for the shipping due to the lithium battery. I asked him to waive the fee considering the situation. He refused. I asked for a manager and he moved on the conversation and no manager was put on our call. I will Never purchase ZAGG products again and I will make this incident public and to everyone I know. All I wanted was a product that was operational.

I tried to explain my past experiences at Zagg with her and she cut me off in the middle of my sentences and was never able to get my point across without being cut off on top of the subpar customer service she looks very unprofessional and is not a good representation for Zag. This girl has the entitlement mentality and it doesn't understand the definition of customer service. her name is Emily but she didn't have a name tag on. She Did explain to me that that location is a franchise location and things run a little differently than the main ZAGG so that could possibly been the issue however she could have been professional and nice about it Hands down would never recommend coming to this location I came in the next day with my broken shield and had the pleasure of meeting Kate. She had excellent customer service. There were some challenges to finding my account but she used her resources and came up with a solution. She was kind and polite and well dress. She is a much better representation of Zagg than I experienced yesterday with Emily. Kate is great and should be recognized for her outstanding customer service! This shop is a 50/50 chance of coming again for me. I think I would call before coming in to see who is on duty. If it was Kate 100% I would use this store again!
