Hit-n-miss. Mostly Miss (no pun intended). First, the queens that work the counter are all mentally imbalanced. The place is filthy. Room "cleaning" consists of wiping the mattress...don't look under it. I find the patrons young, silly and inexperienced. No "staying" power. And what's with those little rooms with the half beds?? Visted CC for the first time. Generally an average experience, nice crowd, lots of hot men and fun was had. Club does not have douche stations, and I had to request a second room since they couldn't get the TV working. Steam room was disappointing, there was steam but it was not hot, so it just felt wet and grimy. Not sure what the story was with the top 40 hit list that was passing for music, but I had been looking forward to a 120 beat heavy trance base, so on the music front I was disappointed. Got a small room which was probably the smallest room I've ever seen in a bathhouse. Rooms were clean and well taken care of however. Last time I went was a few years back. The sling was fun but I can't speak for the current quality. It is pricey and risky.

I was looking saunas in my area to avoid the hour drive to Kings (which I love). However I have a couple of things to note. The first being why 18-24 years olds are free all day everyday. This is big red flag in itself. Not to say they don't deserve it but what would be a good reason for this knowing people are naked or half dressed? Weird. Next was the "racism " note at the end of the site. Why would a company need to put that on their site ? Have they had issues in the past? Lastly whoever answered the phone was rude af! I'm asking about pricing to better understand and he says "I don't have time for this I have customers. I can't sit on the phone you can go on the site." While literally quoting incorrect prices as I'm looking at the site ! Needless to say I won't be patronizing and take caution if you do. This is a sketchy place. read more

It was once one of the best in the North East, bur over the last 6 months something changed: -It's dirty and and some areas are poorly maintained -Steam room has been out of service for months -Dark room is boarded up - Some showers have been out of service for months -They dropped cum-union and other events with no explanation -The once friendly staff is now rude and miserable. I have been to Crew Club twice in my lifetime, both of them back when I was in college. Both times were great. First off, reading these reviews I find it hilarious that there are people knocking this place because they clientele didn't match their fantasies. Got a lightbulb statement for you: these places never do. Places like this are always hit and miss, and one person's goose is another's gander. With that said, both those experiences back in college were surreal moments. Without going into detail, there was some group play in the basement both times that was unforgettable. However, that was college. I was young. Hot. Desirable. Now I'm 40's, unattractive to most guys much younger, but still very much desirable within my age group (the paradox of gay men: rarely is one attracted to men his own age). So, after reading all these reviews from the young twinks complaint that there's no hot guys in there, that's because young guys don't go to these places outside of a curiosity, because they have apps for that. Older guys remember how fun places like this could be, and sadly, they are rarely that kind of fun anymore. This is a good place to go when u have an online hookup and no hosting situation. Period. But given the almost constant feedback that the staff doesn't know how to behave, this place isn't worth another visit for that reason alone. read more

The Crew Club is a clean, accessible bathhouse that is more than adequate. The facilities include a large maze steam room, a sauna, a small gym, an open group shower area, a tv lounge with a very large flat screen tv, a play area with a sling, as well as lockers and private rooms. There is also a hydro-massage table, which I found quite enjoyable. The facilities are well kept and clean, and while some of the staff can be a bit surly, they seem to do their jobs well. I did find the steam room and sauna to be barely warm, but other than that everything else seems to be functional. It can be a bit pricy -- $16 for a one month membership, plus anywhere from $20-$30 for a locker or a room. However, they do have half price deals on Tuesdays as well as during lunch time hours. The crowd is hit or miss like anywhere else, but on Tuesdays and on the weekends, there are enough people to find what you're looking for. read more

I realize that writing a review of the Crew Club here is not as customary as, say, opining on the new tapas bar in your recently-gentrified neighborhood. Regardless, this place has its share of out-of-towners, and it's dubious that Frommer's will give them much information about it. The staff is amiable, with a dry sense of humor. You aren't in Charleston, S.C., so expect to hear something like "5 dollars" if you ask "What's the difference between this $24 amenity and the $29 one?" The music is great (I think it's just SiriusXM's BPM channel without "bumpers", but I could be wrong), albeit a bit loud. Of course, this could be a good thing if you are having difficulty staying awake and alert. The clientele? We're Washingtonians (or VA/MD suburbanites, like me). We may not be the friendliest people in the world, but we take care of ourselves, we're direct, and we know what we want. That goes a long way. Today I arrived in Washington DC, and I stayed near Drew Club, I read bad reviews of this place and I thought many times before going. Going alone always gives a little nerves, but finally I went. When I arrived at DrewClub, I had to wait at a window, where a person asked for my ID, I was on vacation and only brought my IFE or INE, my Mexican ID, I thought I was going to ask for my passport, but it was not necessary. That person scanned my ID, and then I asked if I wanted locker or room, I asked for locker because it was only few Hours. After this I paid 36 dollars and signed two documents, he gave me my keys to go up to the first floor, you change and the adventure begins. If you are a young man like me, a lover of mature men, this place will fascinate you. I went on a Thursday at 11:00 pm, and I fucked with 5 men, sometimes I was in someone's room and sometimes in the dark room or in the steam room. Great place with a dedicated staff and a constant attention to quality. This is no dungeon: the place is kept clean and bright, though the more private areas are dimmed and filled with house music. It's something of a last bastion in the DC metro area, so go, have fun, and tip well.
