I want to start this with a bit of a backstory. My wife just gave birth four days ago, and after a very difficult pregnancy I wanted to treat her to a relaxing manicure and pedicure. I asked my sister to find a great nail salon for a treat after a long pregnancy. We settled on Crescent, and I bought two ultimate pedicure and manicure packages (one for each person). My wife had an experience that would be beyond abysmal, if that was a rating that we could do on Yelp. Unfortunately, 1 star is the lowest option, and I suppose my sisters experience is the one saving grace here to warrant a single star. My wife got home visibly upset by the treatment she received, after a botched epidural which left her with temporary swelling in her feet my hope was her treatment at Crescent would be relaxing, we were wrong. From the woman smacking her hands telling her to move them, to her wrenching her sore wrists around in the small plexiglass slot used to separate the customer and nail technician. This is an absolute and unequivocal failure of a salon; I like to give people the benefit of the doubt so maybe it was just a horrible day for this woman. The eye rolling, filing of my wife's wedding ring, lack of empathy to another human, and apparent dissatisfaction in her career and disdain for those who use her services clearly exemplifies that there are better places to go in Bend. read more

Disappointed that my pedicure was not fulfilling. The massage was great, that's all the person focused on it seemed. I left disappointed and probably will not go back to this place only because of my personal expectations. The person seemed to barely touch up on my pedi as a "routine" but asked if I wanted the sea salt treatment, I'm wondering if I had wanted the treatment that included that, maybe they would have done a more thorough job, but nope. To each his own, but I had to leave a review. I personally do not like when they are so gentle it barely does anything. Understaffed and under delivered my dip powder manicure. My manicure was constantly interrupted by my attendant answering the phones. Cashing people out. Jumping over to inspect someone's work. The clear coat That is used to strengthen the powder was so tinged with other powder colors that it turned my pale pink...purple. Of course I paid anyway. I'll never go back. And if you do. Yesterday I finally found Nick one of the best nail artists I've ever been with before I moved here four years ago and have been searching every single salon in this town at least twice to find someone that does good work. I was in Crescent nails yesterday after I had called yesterday morning and asked to be booked with someone that knew what they were doing with Nails and boy did they nail it. No pun intended lol . I am so excited to go back and see him in two weeks and now he is my all the time guy. He's funny too and sarcastic which I love that. Made an appointment for shellac mani and regular pedi. Technician never asked if I wanted my nails evened out or what shape. The polishing left a lot to be desired (see photos) and although the cut is small, it is painful like a paper cut! The technician was surprised by my request for a pedicure and confirmed with the front desk that I did indeed schedule one. The pedicure was not much better. This place is very impersonal and has poor customer service. I had a two nails chipping 2 days after gel manicure. Went in to get it fixed and they said the person who did the manicure is the only one that can fix it so I had to schedule another appointment. They don't keep track of who does your manicures so we didn't know who to get to fix it. I finally sat down in a chair and waited 15 minutes before anyone really noticed that I was there, while sitting there, I watched staff be on their phones and eating lunch. Really frustrated. Plenty of stations and at least when I was there there was a manager to handle the transactions and front desk so checking in and having a dedicated tech during the service was seamless. Absolutely loved this place. Everyone is friendly and it's an amazing facility. 2/3 times I had the best pedicure with an amazing massage and attention to detail. My only two complaints are 1. They don't line their pedicure bowls for cleanliness. And 2. your service quality definitely depends on who you get. (For example David is amazing). My only bad experience was... I just had a baby and decided to splurge for myself and get the expensive pedicure (55$ for an hour with 20 min massage). The entire time, my girl was checking her watch, and really only rubbed my calves. She had on plastic gloves instead of the silicone ones and they kept scratching my skin. (By the way I have no issue with gloves usually). She obviously wasn't into it which was lame since it was a lot of money and the place wasn't busy that day. Keep in mind they charge you for a file and scrubber, so keep it so you don't have to pay 3$ extra each time. read more

I won't be returning to this salon. Even though I made an appointment, I felt like they were squeezing me in. The salon is not as clean as it used to be. I feel it has become unsanitary. They had me sit in a seat from which another customer had just left. They wanted me to sit there, but it had not been cleaned. I could see debris in the tub. I asked to be moved. After my pedi, I moved to a table for a manicure. They sat a woman where I had just been sitting without cleaning! There were a lot of nail clippings on the floor around the manicure tables. I had booked an Ultimate Pedicure but there was some miscommunication and when my pedicurist, Lana, finished up I noticed I didn't get a few of the treatments in the package - just a regular pedicure. She was gracious enough to sit me back down and continue the treatments and I so appreciated it. It was a gift for my birthday and it was a really nice and relaxing experience. Amazing salon. I'm in town from Portland for a month and wasn't thrilled with the last place I went so I decided to give this salon a try. I was able to get a same-day appointment (within an hour) and when I arrived it was BUSY. The owner made sure to greet everyone promptly and never flinched with walk-ins, late arrivals and special requests that would have likely put anyone over the edge. Somehow, magically, this team got caught up in no time, taking great care of every single patron - many of which are regulars that the owner knows by name! And it's SUPER CLEAN! I highly recommend. After seeing all the great reviews and my friend recommending this place for a pedicure, I decided to try it out. The pedicure was pretty basic and the polish did not last more than a week. Thinking this was a fluke, I booked an appointment again for SNS nails. The manager was the one that ended up doing my nails which was less than ideal. He would constantly be walking away or yelling something at an employee. It took way longer than it should have because of this. The results were also subpar, only lasting a few days before chipping. He said maybe next time I will get someone else before I left. There will be no next time. read more

I went to get my nails here for the first time as I am new to Bend and trying to find my go to spots for all my essentials. I am going to Vegas this weekend and wanted to get my nails done for the trip so I gave this salon a try. When I first walked in I had high hopes, the salon itself is beautiful. Unfortunately the gentleman who did my nails was not so friendly. I was getting a full set so he asked what color and I proceeded to show him what I had in mind and he seemed immediately annoyed looking at the pics on my phone. I then told him I was going to Vegas and just wanted cute nails and that I never get acrylics. I asked for almond shape. When he went to cut the nails down I told him I prefer them on the shorter side, once he cut them he told me almond shape only looks good with longer ones... so already I know I'm not going to get what I asked for. I would ask him for his opinion/advice as this is his job and he would respond with "idk" and nothing else. He also didn't do anything to my cuticles. Upon paying I told the receptionist my issue and she got the owner. The owner was super nice and that's the only reason I'm giving two stars. He informed me that a full set doesn't come with cuticle trimming but the gentlemen who did my nails should have told me that so he offered to cut my cuticles when he was done with his client, I declined because cutting cuticles after polish is just going to make them look already grown out. You can see in my pic how bad my cuticles look....For a regular polish pedicure and a full set that does not include the manicure it was $88.... I also still tipped because it's a damn pandemic so I spent $98 and my nails look like shit cause the dude didn't inform me that cuticle cutting wasn't included and failed to ask me if I wanted it when clearly I really needed it. Waste of money and now my nails look like shit for my Vegas trip this weekend.. overall I am very dissatisfied and would recommend looking at a different salon. The manager also told me that this employee named Nick has been complained about multiple times.... I recommend getting rid of the problem. I will be doing my business else where and will recommend others to do the same when asked! read more

We had an OK experience with Crescent Nails. The owner is adamant about scheduling appointments (no walk ins). I called the day before to change one of three appointments I had made. The next day when my two friends arrived for their appointment, the owner gave them a really hard time about a misunderstanding about cancelling the first appointment. He later apologized for being aggressive, but it made what was supposed to be a relaxing experience, into a stressful one. Also, one of the technicians asked my friend a lot of questions about her personal life. On top of everything, the quality of workmanship was only OK. If they're going to be this stringent on booking appointments, they should also increase their quality and attention to detail. read more

I thought I would try a spa day with a friend. Manicure and pedicure. Well the guy I got was nice but wow I was in pain. He made me bleed on both my toes and my fingers. Never apologized, never acknowledged I was in pain. The massage was nothing at all. He never asked what king of pedicure I wanted. My polish looks like a child painted my toes.
