Securing a new place was easy online and I received a gate code via text. Entering and exiting was easy. The first time I came on site, Richard checked on me to see if I needed anything and I appreciated that. They have two large carts for transporting goods from your vehicle to/from the storage location. Mine was inside access. At a certain point I realized I needed extra space and Richard was helpful over the phone to find a space near my first one. Overall this was a great experience and when I need storage in the future, I'll choose this site.

Let me start by saying that my interactions with all people, except for an owner, were…read moreoverwhelmingly positive. With him...not so much. The facility is nice, clean, and well-lit. Unfortunately the fees are excessively high. After attempting to negotiate a long-term lease at a slightly lower-rate (preferable for everyone) I was told "the price is what it is". Brilliant response. I reviewed other storage units in town and was able to lock in an identical sized unit. Owner there was incredibly friendly and I viewed their units. Not as pretty as this place but I'm not planning on living there. So in closing, clean rental unit, appalling ownership. You can find cheaper units in town without looking too hard.

I have called anywhere between 20 to 30 storage units facilities in the Bay Area. Scotts Valley mini Storage has hand down been the most kind and transparent out of them all. Daniel answered all of my questions with kindness and transparency, which is hard to find in this industry. He had all the answers to my questions without having to take down my information and pass me along to 1-2 more people who might not be able to answer my questions. It's been very frustrating dealing with other storage units and the way that they handle their business. Not here, after ending my call with Daniel I was pleased to have the correct information and a kind interaction! Thank you! (:

I was referred to Lambert & Son by my realtor, and from start to finish, the experience was…read moreexceptional. Michelle worked closely with me to create a moving schedule that fit my needs, including packing my entire home and coordinating delivery to my new home. She was incredibly thorough when preparing the estimate, carefully calculating the packing supplies, number of movers, and overall logistics. She even had Bill come out to assess my new home and determined that because of my narrow mountain driveway, they would need to use two smaller trucks instead of one large truck. That level of planning made all the difference. The moving crews arrived on time and immediately got to work. They were organized, professional, and asked thoughtful questions whenever needed to ensure everything went smoothly. In addition to moving my household, they disassembled seven industrial storage racks in my garage and reassembled some in my new garage and others in the space above the garage. Every container was clearly labeled so the correct items went upstairs or into the garage, making unpacking much easier. I especially appreciated how accommodating the movers were with furniture placement. They were patient and willing to adjust pieces until everything was lined up exactly where I wanted it. Their attention to detail was outstanding. Both crews--the packing team and the delivery team--were professional, respectful, hardworking, and genuinely friendly. Moving can be incredibly stressful, but they made the entire process far more enjoyable than I ever expected. Michelle stayed in touch throughout the entire process--from our initial planning conversation to confirming every detail before the move and following up afterward to ensure everything went well. Her communication and customer service were outstanding. The entire experience was seamless, and I highly recommend Lambert & Son to anyone looking for a moving company that truly goes above and beyond.
