I painted a piece here back in May and bought a second one that I didn't finish at the time. I was told at checkout that if I washed any prior the paint off, I would be able to return/exchange for a different piece. I came back in December because I don't live out here, I visit someone. I was quite rudely told they do not take returns, period. This piece I have is now completely paint-less and I no longer have a purpose for this bowl. I was really hoping to swap it for a mug, for a set I was planning to purchase and paint. Experience was disappointing, wouldn't recommend funding this business.

This was a fun activity to do for a few hours! Definitely not the most professionally done painting but it was fun to do nevertheless and now we have a functional piece to use! The workers there are all super helpful and super kind.

A few years ago I bought a birthday party voucher at an auction and when I went to schedule it just now, they would not honor it or give me anything! I purchased this right before Covid and was finally ready to do this because things are finally normal again and the manager said it was expired. There was no expiration date on the voucher and letter that accompanied it (that was obviously created by them). To make matters worse, she was extremely rude and cut me off. The deal was that they would supply cupcakes, juice and balloons and we would still need to pay for each item that the 10-12 kids created (min. $130) so it's not like we wouldn't be spending any money. We will never go to this establishment and I suggest you do the same.

Rebecca & Robb were so fantastic in helping fulfill a vision I had for my wedding. I wanted to paint a Cherokee wedding vase and 15+hours later over a month of studio visits, it came to completion. I very much appreciate their accommodation of a few out of the ordinary requests and their supportive and friendly nature in helping me get this work of art to the finish line. I highly recommend their studio for your creative and artistic needs.

Came to this place on a whim! How fun! I liked how there was a variety of pottery templates to choose from! They charge by the item you choose you paint and not by the hour. We came in on a 2pm Sunday as walk-ins 3 people and there was 1 or 2 tables left. When we initially came in, they didn't give us any directions/customer service besides going to our table. We had to figure it out on our own, so it would've been nice to get an introduction to where things were inside the store. Also some of the potteries are high price $20 and up. Other than that, it's a great relaxing activity to do with family, friends or on a date! Once you pay, it takes 7 days for it to be ready for pick up! If you have a bigger group def call in beforehand or make a reservations on website.

Can you bring your own piece to paint?

No, you cannot bring your own items in to paint. Anything not purchased at the studio would need appropriate approval due to safety concerns. Not everything can go in a kiln.

I picked a little bowl to paint and pulled up my Pinterest board for inspiration. I went to go pick out my colors and they all had swatches on them with 1-3 coats of paint to show you how it looks when fired. They also have precision tip paint bottles (in the same selection as the regular paint) for little details and stamps. They provide you with assortment of paint brushes, decorated pieces for inspiration and different foam applicators for ombre looks. They also give you ceramic palettes and a water mug to clean off your paintbrushes. After you're done with decorating, you clean up your items and put them in the correct compartments for the staff to wash. Then you pay and they tell you when you can pick it up (usually within a week). There was only one staff member when we were there, but she was super helpful and kind. As we left around 6 PM on Friday, it got very busy.

However, it's worth it IMO! Weekends are busy and there's generally a wait. However, I opted to paint outside and got seated right away. They have a great selection of items to paint. I picked two jars. They have a variety of supplies that allowed me to bring my vision to life! The number of colors they have to select from is vast too. They have a wide range of brushes and tools, and I appreciated their two sizes of paint pen detail bottles--perfect for writing! Nicky was so helpful and accommodating. He reviewed how the pair a work and the process thoroughly but succinctly. He brought my chosen pieces out to the table since I had my dog with me. It is dog friendly outside! Not sure about inside. Check out was pretty seamless, and Erica did a great job with my checkout! The prices for the pieces are comparable to ones I saw at another similar establishment, which was good to see. This is a great brunch spot with the girlies, a super fun work event, the perfect birthday activity for any age - and you get to take home something memorable. Something you created alongside people you shared this memory with! Did I mention that there's FOOD? I just got a coffee this day, but my sisters had some tea and a pastrami sandwich. I stole a bite of the sandwich, it was indeed delicious. Next time, I'm going for a brunch outing and I WILL be indulging in some mimosas. The most beautiful pain and sip place I can think of. So you come in, order food and drinks if you'd like and then find a place to sit. Go pick out the pottery piece you would like - I will warn you, this is the hardest part of the process. After that, there's a station with all the supplies you may need (paint and paint palettes, paint swatches after firing, brushes, sponges, stencils, paper towels, food paper to sit things on, water bowls, I'm sure there's more I'm missing). Return to your table, paint, order more food, play with the super fun games they have?? (We played with a miniature pool table. Sure, it was missing some balls, but how often do I get to play with a mini pool table?), and when you're ALL done, take your piece to the counter. They'll have you take a picture of your item before paying for it. You will use this picture to pick up the item(s)! You pay for it and it's ready to pickup in 8 days! Plan ahead :) I do wish that there was a little more guidance when you arrive, but with that being said, everything *is* on their website. Some information is a little confusing or not current, however. I also wish that this place was a bit better staffed, but I know that's an issue many face and this business appears to be fixing! When it was a little rushed, I could sense the frustration of the person behind the food counter. Completely understandable, but it leaves room for improvement! Overall, I can't wait to come back to this place. I painted the plate, and I kinda want to try this again and see if I can improve! Can't wait to bring my mom here, maybe for Mother's Day?! You know what, let's all bring our moms here and create something special - memories and pottery!

I like that they serve more food than other places I've been, so you can eat dinner while you paint. We ordered the charcuterie board for 6, 2 pizzas, and a few bottles of wine. The charcuterie board was yummy with classic foods and we really enjoyed both the spring fever and spinach and Gorgonzola pizza! The wine list was pretty small with about 4 white options and 4 reds ( I think ?) but we were all satisfied with the ones we got. I like that they had instructions on every table of how to prep and paint everything from beginning to end so we could be very independent through the process! From what I saw, most pieces were between 25-60. They had a decent amount of options to pick from, including a plates, bowls, mugs, and trays, as well as animals and trinket holders. I would've loved a few more paint colors but what they had got the job done! There was a little chaos with the payment because of our reservation, but everything got sorted out and we had a great time! I can't wait to see my finished product! *there is not a dedicated parking lot, only street parking

Our pottery class was on March 29th, we came back to paint on April 12th, and then picked everything up on April 17th. It honestly felt like such a fun extended experience getting to come back and see everything through. The painting portion was super enjoyable too. They offer a variety of glazes, some classic colors included at no extra cost, plus a few specialty options for a small fee. My fiancé chose the "Safari" glaze (just $1 extra), which had these cool glass pieces that melt in the kiln and create such a unique pattern. Definitely worth trying if you want something a little different! Pickup was easy overall. My only small suggestion would be to clarify the pickup hours on the card that's handed out after painting. Google hours seem to reflect member hours, while the hours posted on the door are different. When I arrived, they technically weren't open yet (my mistake, I'm sorry!), but the person at the front desk was super kind and still helped me find my pieces, which I greatly appreciated. I do wish there was a specific color in the smaller tip bottle for better line work. They were sweet and let us finish our work after the pottery painting open time was coming to a close. It was pretty pricy though. My total was $51.45 after tax & tip for a charger plate. They give you a card for when pick up is ready 1 week after. I confirmed we will be back in 1 week to pick up. This is quite far from where I live in Lake Stevens so it's a bit of a drive. I met my friend in Monroe and drove from there to go pick up our pottery - making it a fun girls day! We were SO excited. Upon picking up, she got hers fine but apparently mine had a chip in it and the lady was kind enough to fix it. But, with that said I had to wait even longer to pick up since she put it back in the kiln. She took my cell number and said she would text me when it is ready for pick up. Very frustrating as we drove ALL the way out there to pick up our pieces. And now I had to make ANOTHER trip out there to pick up. A waste of gas. They need to have a better communication service for when your piece is in the kiln vs. ready for pick up. This is not a system at all and I can see it could frustrate a lot of people in the future. I hope they fix this.

I did contact management to report what happened.
