First visit here was to vote for 2024. What a first class experience - the line was long, but moved rather swiftly. The workers doing their duty for this country were educated, prepared, friendly, and professional. I'd vote here everytime for till 3000 :) because of them. Cool story, my co-worker and pod mate recently became a citizen. I think she was intimidated by the registration process as online there were some hiccups for her. After going to vote for myself, I pinged her and let her know while standing in line, they have workers helping those who haven't registered yet. I told her how great everyone was, how fast the line moved, and how easy peezy it all was. This review is solely for the outdoor spaces of this Community Center, especially the tennis courts. My companion and I had driven to 3 parks in the evening, a week or two ago, looking for a tennis court. The tennis courts were full at every one of the 3 parks that we drove to! It was about to get dark soon, so we thought that it might get dark if we tried to wait for a court at one of the parks. So, we drove here as our last try to find an open outdoor public tennis court that evening. Thankfully both tennis courts were open here when we arrived! As you can see on the ground around me, the tennis courts had quite a bit of tree debris on them (mostly twigs and pine cones). However, we were able to play tennis here for about an hour and the pine cones and twigs didn't really interfere with our play, so 5 stars from me! The second tennis court was occupied by 2 other tennis players shortly after our arrival. They were very considerate and threw the stray ball back to us when it landed in their area, and we did the same for them. The parking lot is smallish, but it was sufficient for our needs and it was only about half full. The winding path to get to the tennis courts was a lovely place for a short stroll, with tall trees surrounding the path. There is a kids play area near the tennis courts. Kids seemed happy about playing there on the evening of our visit. There is also a 4-hoop basketball court adjacent to the tennis courts. It was full for most of the time that we were playing tennis. I liked the high fences around this space, so we didn't have to worry about a basketball getting in the way of our tennis play. It's been years since I last played tennis. I played tennis a lot growing up, mostly with my Mom, who is extremely competitive. I'm not super competitive myself, I prefer to be collaborative in most cases, but I was delighted that my companion and I each won 5 of our 10 games, because I do like doing physical activities with people of similar skill levels. Super nice and peaceful area, and a great place to play tennis. We may return! read more

The process of renting a room for a birthday party was easy, as well as having it. Thank you for allowing us to use your equipment for karaoke. This was a birthday party my daughter will never forget. The parking lot is big enough, but if there is church or a show playing at BYT, expect limited parking. The community center and BYT (Bellevue Youth Theater) share a parking lot. On Sundays there is often church in the BYT building. read more

I have rented this community center numerous times. The staff are all nice and friendly. Front desk staff (like Omar) always greeted me with a smile. I enjoy working with Brandi and William on rental reservations, and recently had a hiccup where I needed to cancel a reservation in which Tiberius was kind enough to assist me. The center is clean and a great place to get friends and families together. It's also more affordable compared to other centers in the Seattle area. read more

This is a great community center for various events and meetings, right next to the Crossroads Shopping Center. I visited the Crossroads Community Center for a candidates forum, and the space was nice for it. The forum was set up in one of the many community rooms, which was adjacent to a kitchen for refreshments. There is a private parking lot outside the community center, but it gets full from all the different activities going on at the center. Plus, it's next to the Bellevue Youth Theatre, so parking is shared between these two spaces. However, I parked at the Crossroads Shopping Center, which wasn't a far walk from here. The center was also easy to find, as I drove along the main NE 8th drag and turned left on to 160th where there are signs indicating the way to the community center and youth theatre. It's at the far end of the street and is easy to spot. There's also many dining options nearby. Although I only spent time in one room for the candidates forum, I witnessed many events happening as I was walking to the room, including a game at the basketball court. This center seems to be a great gathering spot for the community, hosting multiple events at one time. There was also a front desk area, where staff are present to help. The Crossroads Community Center is a great, accessible space with multi-use rooms for various occurrences. read more
