I've gone to creative nails for both manicures and pedicures several times now and have always been impressed. They have good attention to detail in a clean environment. Be warned: They push SNS manicures hard here, it is almost impossible to leave without getting one. That being said I have used SNS 3 times now and do really like the product. It compares to other gel hybrids but dissolves a little easier and is supposed to be healthier for your nails. They have a huge color selection to choose from in SNS, gel, and regular polish. read more

I have been going to this place for months for SNS, I typically wait 4 weeks before I go, so my nails are usually long and every time someone comments "so long," but always $40 Anyhow this last visit I called 2x to scheduled my 530 appointment, 2xs, I arrive at 535 & the main lady who sits next to counter starts going off on look at the time you appointment 515 I firmly respond no, as I know she is of the one's I spoke with on phone, Lena quickly starts my soak, nails get completed as usual, walk to pay & she says $46??? I ask why, she said because nails long!!! I was furious!! For months and months I go with long nails but today they have new prices for short & long that are NOT posted on wall. I am certain it is because I insisted on my appointment. So they charged an extra $5 for my long nails. I am all for paying for great services, no problem, but how do this manicurist make up their own rules? I will not go back because I am huge on good customer service and integrity and that is the only thing that kept me from going off lol and pointing out the two ladies next to me who also had long nails and see if they were going to charge them more too, worst part is they DID NOT tell me anything until I went to pay, months of paying $40 I didn't ask nor did I expect his BS :( read more

Terrible! I took my mom here on her birthday after buying my wedding dress. It was meant to be a celebration. I wish I had not stopped. A mani/pedi ran $60!!! Not the advertised price. The lady who did our pedis was crazy (as in singing and talking to herself, not the fun crazy) and the lady who did my mom's nails tried to tell her she was just going to buff them with no nail polish and charge her! Love this place and love the people to, they're always so fun to talk to and always make my experience great. They also actually listen to you when you say you want your nails or toes done a specific way and they always do a wonderful job. I scheduled pedicures for my daughter and I. I had made sure to let them know we wanted to have them at the same time and to sit together. They were running behind, so our appointments were 20 minutes apart. When I finally got called back, the chair that was open wasn't by my daughter, and the lady I charge was really rude to me and kept snapping at the ladies working there. Bad service and a sub par pedi to boot! We certainly won't be going back there. read more

I've been going to Sonny at Creative Nails for years! I wouldn't go any place else. I've been other places before and no one does them better than Sonny! Sonny is AWESOME and fast at what he does. I was a walk in and they accommodated me immediately, even though my nails were complicated and took awhile. Kim did a great job on the solar nails and T made such a cool design on the nails themselves. I'm very pleased with the results. It got busy so an appointment might be a good idea. I will be coming back. Oh the technicians take continuing education classes. T took a special design class. She is still learning English, but with the help of fellow employees she can understand just fine. read more

I called last minute to get an appointment for me and a friend for a mani/pedi. We are from out of town on business. They were able to fit us in within an hour. Not only did they pay maticulous attention to detail, but they were very friendly, quick, and efficient. It had been some time since my last pedi and I needed a lot of TLC on my toes. I got an amazing pedicure and I'm madly in love with my manicure. I would go back for sure and will recommend this place to anybody. They even let us know they would charge us less because we didn't need cuticle work on our nails, so we received a discount. An honest business with great customer service. read more

Highly dissapointed. I got there at an appointment at 2:30 and they let some high school students get their nails done before me. I get my nails done regularly and finally found a place I liked. I don't have time in my day to waste waiting and that's why I had an appointment. I waited til about 50 after and it seemed that they had no one to do my nails so I just left. I am one of the few people that actually tip and call to cancel and reschedule. But I guess walk ins take priority. Doubt those kids would tip and the kids were really rude to begin with. I was a regular customer for a year. I was pleasant, never complained, and tipped every time. I was always on time and never made them wait for me. I always made appointments in advance. I was always made to wait while walk ins were taken in, causing them to make me wait up to 25 minutes. The last time I went in I left after 25 minutes and decided they did not value my business. I have not had luck in Salem with getting my nails done. At first, she asked me what type of polish I had on my nails, I told her regular, she then grabbed my hand and said no its gel. No, it was not gel it was regular and came off with one gentle brush of remover. Anything to make an extra $5 bucks huh. Then this customer service just got inappropriate. First, I called ahead of time and arrived at 5pm. Its now 7:30pm and I just got out of there, & they were not very busy. Two and half hours for a mani/pedi is ridiculous. I usually enjoy when the time is spent on me, but instead, I got my feet done then waited 20 minutes for them to start on my hands. It was my first time here and I was asked inappropriate questions, I kid you NOT... "how much do you pay for rent? are you married? does your boyfriend have a good job? how much money does your boyfriend make? How much money do you make? Do your parents work? Why do they care-im in my late 20s, strange question. Although the lady was sweet and I don't think she meant to pry into my life with inappropriate questions it was a conversation so I'm over that but Then, to top it off the credit/debit card machine didn't work so every client was going to Target to get cash out, when I said I didn't have cash they were like WHAT? NO CASH?! ..yet I was the only person they asked to hold a drivers license for while I ran to target. I told them NO, and to give the customer the benefit of the doubt. I am offended by this, they only seem to care about the money. Also since it was my first time they gave me a box with my own file and brush to take home, made it sound like a gift for new customers then said it was $5 haha. Such a joke. My nails turned out mediocre, prices are too high here, but I'm looking forward to finding another place.. Mani/pedi (with unwanted box) cost me $68. Rude read more

Lena does excellent nails but it's too hard to get an appointment. She is often "too busy" for every evening but when I'm in there I see them give her walk ins. Regular customers frequently have to go somewhere else when they need fills. I need someplace that values regulars over walk-ins. I also went back for a repair that was clearly their fault and had to wait 40 minutes for a two minute repair of the polish. If I was a client I would have been happy to wait a couple minutes for my technician to go paint two strokes of polish on someone rather than see them wait that long. This is ridiculous. I have referred a lot of clients to this shop but will not do so in the future. read more

Will never go back after I have been a client for many years. Was treated very rudely by the owner when they mistakenly did not add my daughter to the appointment book after I had called and specifically made her an appointment after mine. I had one of the nail techs cut my finger so badly because she as she explained "has issues with hang nails". My finger was so swollen and painful for several days. I have always called and cancelled, left good tips. Both my daughter and I walked out and not one person, even the owner could say thank you or have a nice day. I had an appointment but felt the service I received for my deluxe pedicure was hurried and rough. The girl also left to answer the phone twice. Furthermore, there wasn't any mention of having to purchase a $5 nail kit at the time of booking. This isn't the place to go if you want a relaxing ambiance and experience. read more

I visit Creative Nails for mani/pedis about twice a month. The ladies are all very friendly and do wonderful work. I am able to show Trang any photo of nails I like and they are perfectly replicated. I defiantly recommend paying them a visit if you're looking for good work. I also highly recommend making an appointment before going in. Allows for a smoother appointment. read more
