Good experience, clean salon. My technician was really nice. I got dip for the first time and she did a good job. She did not however cut my cuticles or clean up my real nails besides a buffer, but not sure if this is normal for dip? She also did not lotion my hands or arms like my friends technician did, but again maybe dip is different? My technician was really sweet when helping me choose a nail shape, and I am glad I went with almond. Overall I like my nails. I forgot the exact color I got but it was OPI. read more

The last day of 2025, December 31, around 5 p.m. went for a pedicure, along with my two grandnieces, we found this place online, located in the shopping center, very clean, attractive building. The receptionist let us know that they would be closing at 7 p.m. to celebrate the New Year. Two male employees provided a pedicure for my nieces at the same time that a female did mine. The shop was empty, of customers, some other employees were present. I wish that I had gotten the name of the female, a lady with dark hair,In all of my years, She was the rudess,roughess,unprofessional person!!! Even her peers along with my nieces would look over as She yanked my feet in and out of the water, Never speaking, just push my feet in and out of the water harshly, digging under my cuticles, I would jump and say, too rough some time. To no avail. The males offered water to my nieces words, only grunts came from my person!! Clearly she was in a rush and totally insensitive to how she treated me.Needless to say, not sure if I will test the waters again. read more

I've been coming here about about 2 years. Always thought they were fine, obviously unfriendly, but fine. Nothing special. Then I brought my 3 year old for her first pedicure. Made an appointment. When we got there, they barely acknowledged us and made us wait 30 minutes - after which I just left because they wouldn't even talk to me when I tried to ask how much longer it was. They tried to seat me in one of the kids chairs because they hadn't made a plan to seat me in the adult chair next to the kids chairs, which was ridiculous because I couldn't even fit my legs in it. This salon doesn't use the oven sanitizer to clean their tools. I have seen them reuse tools on people, they use dirty files. I sat down to a table, they didn't spray it down and clean it, it was sticky from the last person. If you are doing a dip, they do the dip in the original canister, which really isn't sanitary either. It's gross. I can't believe I've been going to Creative Nails at Belle Hall for as long as I have, and it's only just now occurring to me to write a review. I've been living in Mt Pleasant for several years, and Creative Nails has been my go-to the entire time. The atmosphere is great, the staff has treated me amazingly, and I always walk out with a manicure I love (I get the powder dip). Today, Lisa gave me the mani in the attached picture. I was so happy with it, I walked out and immediately took pictures to send to friends. The experience was comfortable, friendly, and had a lovely result. My first experience here went well... I got a gel manicure of excellent quality and a spa pedicure. I was very happy with my nails! So I went back three weeks later to get another gel manicure... however, this time around, I can't say I was even the least bit happy with my gel manicure. The lady doing my nails was rushing throughout the entire manicure. She wouldn't let me hands sit under the UV light for the allotted 60 seconds to dry.. therefore, by the end of my manicure, I had tiny bubbles and bumps on some of my nails. Also, throughout the session, the lady kept slapping my hand and pointing to where she wanted me to move. I am paying for this service.. please do not treat me like an animal. Talk about disappointed! I could do a better job by myself at home. Thankfully, they fixed my nails without hesitation. However, I do not think I'll be returning to this nail salon. There are many other nail salons in the area.. why take my chances at this one! read more

I went to this salon because it is close to my home and only because my salon was closed for the holidays. I was immediately seated. The girl who did my pedicure only asked me if I wanted a "deluxe pedicure" I asked what the difference was and she said extra callous scrub and extra massage. I said sure. I was extremely disappointed with my service because it felt rushed. There was no one waiting and maybe four other customers in the salon. I signed it after 2:45 and was completely done by 3:10. The "deluxe pedicure" was a joke because she did nothing special besides add pomegranate scent to the water. I had to come home and add lotion to my feet and scrub them with a pumice because they were rough. I definitely would not return for such poor rushed service. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I've never had a problem with this salon until today. A few days ago I got 2 nails replaced and mentioned to my tech that my thumb nail needed to be replaced. He said okay but never fixed it. 4 days later the nail falls off at work. I went back there today were I kindly explained to the lady that I had mentioned it to the lady at the frost desk and she said "not a problem" I then was moved to one station where one lady put the fake nail and the acrylic on. I was then moved to another lady that painted my nail a different color than the rest of my other nails. I told her about the mistake and she said I had to wait so the previous tech could file it to the correct shape. I waited and the lady came back and told me I had to come back at a different time because they had "paying customers" I will NEVER return to this place again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! read more

I always go to this place to get my nails done. The last time I went two weeks ago the quality and time spent with me was awful. I'm paying good money for the service and they rushed it along. 1 week after getting a fill in the top chipped off completely. I went back to have it fixed. Which I think should be free after all it was their mess up. They charged me 5$ to fix one nail. The lady spent 4 minutes on my one 5$ nail and then told me to go pay. After this experience I will be going to a different nail salon. WOW! I'm at a lose of words. I've never been more upset with a nail salon. Today another acrylic nail chipped. I called the salon to explain that one breaking might be my accident but two breaking was obviously their mistake. I've had acrylic nails on and off for two years now and never have I had two break after a week of being on. I'm not even harsh on my nails. When I called hoping they would just fix this one for free, they said "these are the strongest nail material therefore we're not responsible for fixing them." Went here for a pedicure. The pedicure itself was good, a day after I started to have severe pain in my big toe followed by redness and a pus filled bubble on my big toe. Went to urgent care and I have an infection. I need cream and antibiotics. Obviously they don't clean their tools properly. Should have read the reviews first! I popped in for a mani / pedi on a Friday afternoon. Aside from 3 customers - spot was empty. Perfect I thought - good time for them to do both same time. After I was told "that is against" our store policy (absurd) - I was taken to the pedi chair. Nothing special about pedicure and watery lotion during my 3 minute massage. Manicure had NO soaking or hot mitts to assist with cuticles. Polish selection was horrible - mixed up and too many gels, not enough everyday colors in OPI or Essie. Overall a poor experience. Giving two stars as the polish does seem to look good - we'll see if it lasts. read more

I had the best experience at Creative Nails in Belle Hall. I went to get a pedicure while my daughter was at dance and I had my baby with me. I risked taking him in with me because he was asleep in his car seat. Needless to say, he woke up in the middle of the service screaming and crying. I was embarrassed and exhausted hoping I could have that quiet time. Kevin was great and reassured me that "we've all been there" he also was efficient in finishing my pedicure so I didn't have to worry. So that I could enjoy the rest of my time, Tai strolled around with my baby calming him down. I couldn't ask for better service. All the staff worked together to make sure that I was able to relax a bit and that other patrons were not disturbed. So kind! Will most definitely return. read more

All positive reviews are for the Creative Nails off 17 near Harris Teeter. They have the same name, but different owners!! Feeling disappointed. When I treat myself to a pedicure, I appreciate a little friendliness, actually, I appreciate it any place I am spending money. Here, they shuffle you in and out as quickly as possible. No one asked any customer to come back, in fact, the poor lady next to me, when her and the nail tech were putting her feet under the fan, 3 of her toes hit the base, resulting in scuffing the nail job. The customer was SO apologetic about it, and all the nail tech could do was sigh and roll her eyes. It's not like she messed her nails up on purpose??!! Also, we all know people receiving tips like the tips in cash, here they actually have signs posted saying they want their tips in cash... There was one man there who was acting friendly with his customer, and said goodbye nicely to another customer. What are the chances you can have that guy every time?? This was my second time here, the first time I experienced the same, I just thought maybe I had a bad nail tech, but I saw nothing different today. I first learned about this salon through a Val-Pak mailer. What drew me to this salon (actually one of their other locations on Hwy 17, but these are the same owners and go by the same name) was the picture on the Val-Pak advertisement: little girl pedicure seats that look like Hello Kitty. With my little girl in tow we go to one of these locations and they have five pint-sized pedicure seats. She got a mani-pedi and loved every pampering moment in the seat that was just her size and the foot bath that was perfect for her little legs. She felt like a princess. While she got her pampering, I was getting a gel shellack manicure and regular pedicure. The staff was super knowledgeable when I was describing the color that I wanted: something natural and nothing too loud as to immediately draw attention to my hands. The woman suggested I get one coat of a particular color followed by a different color for my second coat. It turned out perfectly! The man who did the actual shellack application accidentally got some black fuzz stuck under the shellack on one of my nails and he was very nice about removing the shellack (which is quite a process) to get the fuzz pieces out and re-do it - no questions asked. No huffing. No attitude. The owner was so incredibly sweet to my daughter and they all made us feel so welcome. We loved our visit so much that we're seriously considering doing my daughter's next birthday party here! The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I thought it was a little pricey compared to the salon that I normally go to. read more

Not good. Took my 10 year old girls there. Their pedicure lasted 13 minutes including painting. Not a kids pedicure, regular pedicure in a regular chair. Had mine done as well. More like 20 minutes but not a good pedicure. Had been there one other time. Girls getting toes and nails done. Of course they flew through their pedicure and took them to get their nails done. When I was done with my pedi went over and they had put gel on their nails. Ridiculous. Find another salon. read more

When you allow customers to book on your website and then they come in saying they have an appointment don't act like that's not even a possibility, tell them to sit, and then ignore them without a single word for over 20 minutes, when you at least had the decency to alert guests after them what the wait time would be. I went in for a fill . The lady was fine and my nails while not great looked okay. Because I had no polish on them , a week later I saw a green line where they had filled my nails. I immediately took them off and have now left them off for several weeks for that brown / green to go away. This has never ever happened to me and I have had acrylic nails off and on for years. They did not use instruments out of a package like they normally do after they've been sterilized but I was not concerned because I have never before gotten any kind of fungus. I hate to do this because everyone was friendly but I should have listened to the other yelpers and not have wasted my time. I waited about 20 min for my gel manicure. Not upset about that, they were busy so no big deal. She trimmed back my cuticles, which again, I don't mind, however, she was a bit aggressive and even as I type one of my fingers is sore. My biggest problem though, I got my nails done at noon and by 5pm one had already peeled away. By 9pm 2 more bit the dust. Not to mention this was the pricest gel manicure I have ever had. Horrible horrible horrible. I do not recommend this nail salon in any way shape or form. I've had three, yes THREE, bad experiences in the last 7 months. The first time was getting a pedicure. I went in around 6, an hour before close, and picked put a polish color. When it was time for thr painting, I told the lady is like to see what the color looked like on my big toe nail to make sure I liked it. I didn't like the color after seeing it on and asked for the lady to please get my stand by color instead and have her the name. She said she couldn't do that so I has to get out of the chair and go get it. She gruffly removed the polish and very snappily said "are you sure this is the color you want bc I won't paint it again". I politely said that I hoped it was the right color. The second time was two days ago. I went in to get an eyebrow wax and they told me it would be a 5 minute wait. I waited for 20 minutes with no one checking on me and zero customer service to apologize for the wait. I finally left. I went back today to try again and stopped by with 5 minutes left before closing. As I'm walking in one the employees yells "its 7, we closed." It was NOT 7, it was 6:55 and an eyebrow wax takes 5 min tops. Do you really not want to make $16 in 5 min?? So I let the lady know what time it was and she says "sorry we closed." I will NEVER ever go back to this location ever. The one time I got a manicure it only lasted for 4 days before chipping off. If you are in the belle hall area and are by yourself, I do highly recommend Lihn Nails in sola salon by CVS. He's a one man shop but does an AMAZING job and is very nice to work with. read more
