Conveniently located in a new shopping strip near the Costco and Park West community, this will be my new go to! This salon is brand new, so they have the best of everything, and it's beautiful and spacious inside. No strong nail odors. The pedicure massage chairs are top of the line and so comfy! They were able to start on me right away, which is always nice. My nail tech did an amazing job. I had the Lemongrass and Rose herbal pedicure and it was so relaxing and luxurious. The guy who did my nail gave me what I asked for very pretty nails however I expect the charms to stay on more than a day. I left then not even 20 minutes later my bow charms fell off I came back they fixed it for free now I will be back on yelp for an update on the rating. I just had a horrible experience at Pulse after being a regular customer for over 3 years! I had a gel manicure ($40) 10 days ago, within 3 days one nail totally peeled off and then another one within a week. I asked for a gel remover free of charge and the manager would not do it free of charge after asking several times. My daughter booked us each a mani /pedi on April 30th while I was visiting . The whole service felt rushed . The nail tech gave me a manicure at the same time as my pedicure , She put a pillow on my lap and did the manicure that way. I have never had a manicure done in that way before . Once Anna left this salon it has not been the same. I exclusively book online and I have never gotten the person I requested. The last two times my dip has been mediocre at best. Sides of my nails not covered, or I'm left with powder stain all over my hands. The last visit I asked the man performing my Pedi to be gentler with my toe cuticles and he abruptly told me I had to get the dead skin removed. When I stated that I agreed but could he please do it more gently he barked at me again. Once he started on my dip manicure, he didn't apply a base coat and cut my nails completely off without asking. This salon had/has all the makings of being different than most in the area. Clearly it is riding on the old Pulse Nails which Anna ran with a lot of attention to detail. The level of excellence is not in the atmosphere anymore unfortunately. I did book online a week in advance and when I got there they say they were very busy and couldn't honor my time or who I requested. She never put anything on the cuticle, she didn't push them back but proceeded to start trimming the cuticle when it was practically dry. She filed my nails very quickly and it wasn't until I left the place with polished nails that I realized the nails were all scratchy and not smooth. She didn't care to talk which is fine with me, but she was talking to everyone around her which I feel is rude. I had an appointment on Saturday with Henry. When I booked I originally asked for Tina, but since it was my first time there I didn't mind who performed my service. I received a gel manicure and pedicure on Saturday afternoon (4days ago) and chipping has already started. It was great atmosphere and customer service but really disappointed that my gel is chipping. They offered me drinks and it was very clean. I work from home so it's not like I do any heavy activities throughout my day. This has never happened with me so soon after a gel manicure. I also don't like how much space was left between the cuticle and nail polish. It looks like my nails have already grown out, but that was just the way he lines up the polish. I was really looking forward to finding a new nail shop since I am new to the area, but I probably won't be coming back since I want my manicure to last longer. This is my new go to nail spot!!! I made a reservation and came in. They were very busy but it was well worth the wait. Everything is very very clean and they even have two little chairs for little kids in a butterfly shape for pedicures. Tim is the go to there for designs- I showed him a picture and he did it even better I think than the original picture. Prices are very fair and it was overall a great experience. They stayed open an extra hour and a half to fit me in and do the design how I wanted. They did not rush which I was thankful for. I will be going back!! read more

All that glitters is NOT gold. Don't be fooled by the lovely decor. If you want to pay for poor quality and equally poor customer service, go to Pulse Nails. I had an awful pedicure--cuticles not trimmed, polish poorly applied, nails uneven--and returned the next morning to speak to the owner, Anna, who I had met on my first two visits which were better. Despite my nice approach (I really didn't want to complain), Anna became immediately defensive as though she had me confused with someone else. When I asked her to have a look at my pedi, she initially refused and went on about my great pedicure experience the night before. Now I was certain she was confused. Then she quickly glanced and said my pedi was "very nice" (photo shows otherwise). After I asked Anna if she wanted to make this right by simply tidying up the cuticles and reapplying polish, she abruptly said "No, your pedi is perfect" as she unkindly handed me back $36. I am a repeat customer and there are MANY reasons for this! Obviously, I am there to get my nails done and for them to last until I return! I have NEVER had an issue with any of them breaking! The salon is immaculate. Tim and Anna are the owners and they go OVER and ABOVE!
