While this is a good hair cut for a great price, this location is extremely busy and they always seem short staffed. When you arrive at 9am, when the store opens, there is usually a line, and they do not turn the online check in on right away. Didn't become available until 9:10am. Store sometimes has reduced hours due to low staffing levels, and had closed earlier than the hours listed in the app. Despite this, the girls who are there to cut hair do a great job and are very personable. The shop is the same as the one near Lowe's and basically Great Clips cannot be beat for pricing, checking in online and service. I love it. $13 for a hair cut and they keep a record on file of what you had done last visit and use it to consult and re assess this visit to give you the best possible haircut. In and out of there in 20 min max. I love that. Solandra is by far the best at what she does, years of experience with a scissors and you can tell. I have never had a bad hair cut from her. She is fast, to the point and detailed in her work and hits the mark every time. So down load the app, put in your details, check in and you are good to go. Nikki did a fantastic job. She cut a few inches of my hair and gave my hair new life. I am in love with this hair cut and it was just what I needed. New haircuts normally are very very iffy, however Great Clips changed that for me! After switching from SuperCuts to Great Clips, I only have positive things to say. Checking in was a little hard because we had to research our registration on the app, and the woman helping us was very patient. Nicole cut my hair and did an amazing job. I informed her on all the quirks of my hair and she took amazing job of it. Some light haircut talk and a couple laughs later she was done! Finished in at most 10 minutes with amazing results. For extremely short mens cuts they do very well but if you are a man after something that takes shears then you will probably need to do some fine tuning when you get back home. For women, my wife always has unordinary hair requests and they all have come out looking great. I don't know about you, but I'm cheap. And really lazy. I have no loyalty or specifications when it comes to who cuts my and my family's hair. I went here because it's close by, and had an overall good experience. When I saw all the online check ins I thought we would have a long wait, but we were helped right away. The hairdresser didn't seem super friendly, but she was quick and efficient cutting my three year olds hair. I think she didn't want to make small talk on a cut that could have gone south quick. I was disappointed with the old lady that gave my son a haircut. I was actually surprised how behaved he was for a 2 yr old to be sitting on the chair while his hair's being done. This particular hair stylist assigned to my child said that she didn't want to use clippers on my kid cause she can do a wonderful hair done. But oh boy, I could've done that myself if i didn't pursue her to fix his hair more because it was uneven and just cut and clip that's it. I have been to this salon several times with my 13 year old. The haircuts are not great. But the convenience of being able to check in ahead of time made it worth it. We just had a terrible experience with online check in. They claimed we had clocked out and couldn't find our check in. Instead of trying to accommodate us and recognize THEIR mistake, they told us we could wait for an additional 98 minutes. I will never go back. read more

Went twice for multiple haircuts. (I have several sons). We checked in online and when we arrived they messed up each time on placement in line. Today we waited an hour for one haircut. The rest of us were placed at the back of the line....so we left this time and won't return. Mount Pleasant location off of hwy 17 by Lowes is much better. I usually pay $60 for a hair cut in the Charleston area. I needed to get my hair trimmed quickly with out an appointment so I stopped by this Great Clips. They were extremely busy because kids were out of school for a holiday. I only had to wait an hour. The lady who cut my hair did a great job at 1/3 of the price I usually pay. To be honest I might start going here all the time. I can't tell the difference & at their incredible prices, why not? Also, I always judge a stylist / salon based on how the stylist's hair looks.
