Then add a dead stare. I had to ask how long is the wait? Response "I don't know". Then back to dead stare. I asked if I can look around. As we were looking around I heard someone come in and say they have a reservation. THIS is what I need to know! Not just dead staring at me. How hard would it be to say "X amount of people are ahead of you, but you can try tomorrow. I recommend going to our website and make a reservation". I didn't know there was a reservation system it was our first time. At the end, not going back. We were thinking of having our kids birthday party here but not any more. Will look for another business that actually wants our money.

He seemed extremely passionate in what he does! Giving a low rating just because of our experience with front desk staff. We come in super cordial just to be met with stank attitudes. A few weeks after our session, we called the place to follow up on our pieces and the woman on the phone sounded rude about us asking about it. We went to pick up our pieces recently and the woman at the front desk definitely sounded like the one we talked to on the phone, same voice and same unwelcoming attitude. As if our presence ruined her day or us picking up our pieces was such a drastic request for her to do.

The owner's dog is also super sweet. I painted a pottery, didn't make it from scratch but picked the unpainted one from the shelf and paint it. They have special colors that can make very pretty texture and requires no skill whatsoever. It's very relaxing and fun. They'll fire it for you in 1-2 weeks, then send a text for pick-up. It's a long drive from me but the pottery I got is really worth it!

I can confirm that luck was on my side today! Ruey, the instructor, was able to explain and demonstrate how to cone and compress the clay in such a comprehensible, beginner-friendly way, I was almost embarrassed I hadn't understood it until then!
