Heidi was that and so much more! She came highly recommended by our former venue coordinator, and I truly thank God that we found her and she was available for our day! From the first time Heidi and I spoke, I was impressed by her warmth and professionalism. She is amazingly personable and a true joy to work with. She cared about the little details that were important to my husband and I. Her efforts and attention to detail greatly exceeded our extremely high expectations. We could not have asked for better service than what she provided. I had the utmost confidence in Heidi & was truly at ease the month leading up to our wedding knowing she was in constant contact with our vendors, crossing every T and dotting every I. She was also flexible to add on our rehearsal brunch planning & set-up just two weeks prior. Heidi was quick to respond via text/email, she advocated for me with our venue when issues arose & she and her team seamlessly executed our vision on our wedding day with amazing judgement and class. Heidi was gracious enough to hold our million & one decor items the weekend of our wedding, she returned our rental items to vendors for us since we were immediately leaving town, and she even hand-delivered the important items to us the morning after to our hotel room. Not once did my husband and I feel stressed the day-of, even with schedule changes & a downpour 10min prior to the start of our outdoor ceremony. Heidi actually made sure that I had no idea it was raining! Our bridal party & family are still complimenting her & raving about our beautiful & flawless day. Heidi was hands-down the best decision we made for our wedding and I absolutely recommend her to any and everyone who inquires.

The nutshell: Our absolutely amazing wedding was at a non-traditional location (20-acre lodge with…read moreoversized barn/garage for our reception), located FAR away from the nearest city, and we pulled it off in 12 weeks. Because we hired Lori. :-) The story... My husband and I have too many projects. :-) April 2018: We reserved the lodge-60 mins from Cincinnati, 120 mins from Dayton. 5.5 months to go. We loved the property! And knew we could have our dream wedding-albeit more work (responsible for *everything*). 12 weeks before the wedding we got down to business. Upon realizing we'd have to bring our own water (well water, no catering kitchen) knew we needed help.. else miss something-like, no water!! :-) Present: Lori. Across all of her reviews I found every point of complexity I could think of with our setup (quick turnaround, always responsive and great to work with, remote location, extra guest management, transportation, and a bunch of other things.) When we talked, she jumped in right away to offer suggestions and didn't even try to sell me on the full planning package (which I clearly needed). In contrast, I had spoken to another wedding planner with an impressive book - but she offered nothing in the consultation and only tried to sell the highest package. I didn't need cookie-cutter "done it a hundred times". I needed someone creative, flexible, who knew what to look out for, would know what "done" looks like, and how to fill in all the gaps to get there. WEDDING DAY: Due to everything else going on at the time, I was not able to "plan" details with Lori as much as she (or I) wanted. She puts in so much work beforehand to make sure everything goes perfectly, writing it down and pre-coordinating with *everyone*. Most critical elements were ready-timeline, flow, etc. But for ours, she had to wing a lot more and finalize night before/morning of (decorations and setup, final gaps). Which I'm pretty sure would scare the heck out of most planners. :-) She was 100% prepared. Everyone knew what they were doing. I gave a bunch of boxes of decorations, the basics of what I wanted, and left creative licensing for the rest. She had headsets for everyone to communicate, split the staff between church and lodge to start. And GO! It was amazing. Everything went so well!! It felt and looked AMAZING! Lori kept everything moving, making sure to fit in everything that was important to us, all the way down to the Fireworks! Behind the scenes... headsets didn't work, no cell/text reception, one of her staff became very ill. And Lori had a very major family emergency earlier in the week. But she still make it work. Seamlessly. Her work ethic is second to none, she is extremely conscientious, and she will make your day or your event the sole focus of hers so you can live in the moment and truly enjoy it. The best thing a bride can say is "It was my perfect day!" And they may not know the detail that went into the day, or all the challenges behind the scene. But in this case, we do. We know and we greatly appreciate how amazing Lori and her entire team were! Our moms were amazed by her, guests told us she was wonderful :-) I was really lucky to find her, and actually miss not talking to her everyday now. Thanks, Lori! Our day was perfect, and our wedding was "us", through and through. We, quite literally, could not have done it without you! We highly recommend Lori. She's great and will make your event, your day, your moment, incredible.

They were highly rated on Yelp and the website was easy to navigate. Since I live in California I've found that I'm able to surprise my grandma with little things to show her I'm thinking of her and as I browsed the website I saw so many beautiful arrangements I thought she'd enjoy. I settled on the one called Mom's favorite, and whoever's mom chose this combination has great taste. I loved the combination of colors and knew my grandma would too. I completed my order online and set delivery for the next day. While I didn't receive an email or any notification on the business side that they were delivered, I did receive a text from my grandma (with an assist from my uncle) with a photo of the arrangement. She absolutely loves the flowers and the color combination and quality in person matched what was expected from the online photos. I would absolutely order from them again.

I wasn't able to go looking through the dresses, I had to tell them what I wanted and then they would go to the back room and bring some for me to try on. They kept pushing me to try on a dress style I had no desire to try on, knowing the slim fit would not look good on my figure. I ended up finding a dress I liked, but ultimately went elsewhere. I found other shops to be more helpful and kind when looking for the perfect dress. The store front was comfortable and clean. It's just really weird to me that they don't let you see the different dresses to pick from, and only bring you the few they choose for you. I'm not sure what their selection is like for plus sizes, since I never saw more than 5 dresses.

I found the dress last Sunday (11-8-15) at Belle Bridal Boutique and absolutely love it! I had…read morespent my Saturday at commercial/chain bridal stores in Dayton, and was so excited to head to Reading on Sunday. Belle was my first stop, and I was welcomed to my appointment by Amber. She was wrapping up with another client, and told me to feel free to look around at dresses and figure out the top three I wanted to try on. I loved Amber's reasoning of only picking three dresses, that way you didn't feel overwhelmed by a sea of white/ivory. Try one dress on, if you didn't like it, it was out and find something else, if the dress is a contender, keep it. This helped her and myself narrow down elements that I liked or disliked about dresses. I never felt too big or curvy for any dress, unlike at the other stores I had visited before that crammed you in samples that may have been too small. At Belle they have sizes 14 up to about 30, so they really do specialize in the curvy bride. There is no better feeling than having to go down a dress size or two when you finally find the one! Amber was also great when working with my budget! I've discovered I have more expensive tastes than my bank account allows, but she brought the dress down to match my price range to the penny (before tax), which I greatly appreciate! Don't be afraid to ask if they can work with you-it's an advantage of going to a locally owned shop! She even threw in a free veil as a gift to me from the store! I was so worried I wouldn't find a dress, but I found the one to say "Yes!" to at Belle, and ended my search there. I can't wait to see it when it comes in!
