They were highly rated on Yelp and the website was easy to navigate. Since I live in California I've found that I'm able to surprise my grandma with little things to show her I'm thinking of her and as I browsed the website I saw so many beautiful arrangements I thought she'd enjoy. I settled on the one called Mom's favorite, and whoever's mom chose this combination has great taste. I loved the combination of colors and knew my grandma would too. I completed my order online and set delivery for the next day. While I didn't receive an email or any notification on the business side that they were delivered, I did receive a text from my grandma (with an assist from my uncle) with a photo of the arrangement. They made it so easy by helping us select everything and really guided us through the whole process which made selecting the flowers way less stressful. Be careful what you order!!!!!! I ordered garden roses or hydrangeas,not a formed arrangement, but in a vase bunched together like wildflowers with a blue ribbon for my daughter who just delivered a baby boy. This Is what she received.... not even slightly close! To top it off they arrived in a blue bowl, not a vase! I said nothing about filler flowers... just garden roses or hydrangeas. Hmm, I think I see one hydrangea and there is one on the other side of the forced arrangement, as well. These are just awful and I am so disappointed in Piepmeier. My wife and I got our wedding bouquets and cake flowers here. The owner was so incredibly helpful and sweet. She helped us pick out all the perfect flowers and seemed to know exactly what we wanted even if we couldn't articulate it ourselves. We really appreciate the ease of communication with this wedding vendor and the willingness to help deliver our cake flowers to the cakery we used. She also made it exceptionally easy for my parents to come pick up the flowers to bring them to us on the big day. This is the first time I utilized Piepmeier Florist for a delivery. I sent a vase of iris' and birds of paradise to my mother for her 50th birthday. It arrived in a beautiful indigo vase on time to her home. The arrangement was substantial, so overall we were very pleased with the experience. A few disappointments, though. First, the iris were wilting by the third morning. I am aware iris don't last long, but that seemed a bit quick for them to die. Second, I was charged extra to have a rose added to the arrangement and there was no rose. However, I would definitely order from Piepmeier again as my mother is very loyal to this particular florist. read more

I am so pleased with this florist! I live out of town and had to order flowers for delivery as a sympathy arrangement. Being around the holidays, I didn't want it to be too festive but wanted something to warm up the room and let them know they are not alone during this time. I also had the challenge of ordering right before Christmas Eve and who would deliver on such short notice?! I spoke to Sandy and she was glad to help us with the request and even fit us in their busy delivery schedule! They put together a beautiful arrangement using a lantern as the holder. I went in as a walk-in just to check out pricing and such for flowers for my wedding back in October of last year. That was the last thing on my list of to-dos because I'm not really into flowers! But I knew it had to be do be done it was better to just get it over with! Dean was awesome and took me right away without an appointment! I told him that I wasn't really into flowers and he asked me questions about the wedding (colors, theme, etc). I picked out some in a catalog and said just to be creative! He put everything together, gave me a total I almost fell in the floor it was so reasonable!! Well, the day of my wedding I got the flowers (they deliver them several hours before the wedding so you're not freaking out waiting on them!) and they were beyond what I expected!! I received a beautiful bouquet of carnations a week ago after surgery. This was the first time I had any dealings with Piepmeier but it will definately not be the last. The young man who delivered them brought them into the house for me since I was unable to carry them. Then a young lady called a few days later to see if I was happy with the flowers. After a not so great experience with the original florist for my daughter's wedding, I turned to Piepmeier in hopes that they would be able to take on the task with about a month and a half to go before the wedding. Not only did they gladly accept the task they exceeded all expectations on every front. The flowers were exquisite, delivery was as promised, the customer service outstanding! Be very careful here. Our experience was extremely poor. There was a Wire Service order (actually 2 on the same day) that came through to this florist for us. It appears that they used a subcontracted delivery service that was also less than we would expect. We got a phone message that we were not home for a floral delivery but when we called the florist they claimed they had no such delivery for us. We were also very suspicious why a Wire Service would use a Westside florist for an Anderson delivery. The owner, Jessica, explained that she pays her Wire Service for these and other orders in areas of the city she considers "good areas". She said she understood our concerns and gave me the contact information for the subcontracted delivery service. With the unbelievable amount of break ins throughout our area we became very suspicious. We contacted the delivery service and they were less than professional so we contacted the florist again. I should add this was a courtesy call to let the owner know of the subcontractor and our intention to contact the authorities and alert them to what might be possible criminal activity. Things went really south here. The owner, Jessica, claimed that she had found 2 orders for us and that the name had been misspelled, basically blaming the Wire Service. It was a relief to know that it was a legitimate delivery attempt. While she did apologize she became very unpleasant when I voiced my concern explaining that the PROCESS was very poor. She became very defensive of her company which I had not criticized at that point only the process. Her attitude only got worse and I knew this was not someone who took any constructive input well. I would encourage Jessica to listen when anyone has input on a PROCESS as it may help in the future. We have not seen the flowers and may not at this point but if they are a reflection of the customer service I wouldn't expect much. There are several large florist throughout the city that provide outstanding customer service and a quality product not to mention run their own delivery trucks. I would encourage anyone to contact those companies first. I would also again encourage Jessica to take this as less of a complaint and more of constructive input to help improve her PROCESS and hopefully her customer service skills. read more
