The family requested that flowers be delivered to the church annex and not the church itself, which is a little unusual. The florist sent me an email requesting clarification on where to deliver the flowers. Unfortunately, I didn't see the email for a couple of days, so I called the florist & the nice woman I spoke with said she did some research & figured it all out, which was a relief to me. I ordered a planter for almost $300 for my brother in laws funeral. I thought the planter would be something nice they could keep. What I got was not $300 worth of plants. Several were tipped over and I had to rearrange the whole thing. I've use Adrian Durban in the past and always had gorgeous results. This one for a beloved family member, not so much. Disappointed. **UPDATE** I received a call from Adrian Durban's customer service manager and she was very nice to deal with. She updated my account with a credit. I told her as I mentioned in my initial review that I have successfully used this florist in the past with great results. The fact that she took time out to speak to me personally was so thoughtful. I wanted a gorgeous arrangement for my daughter who has just had her first babies- twin girls. I spent several hours and searched numerous florist and picked an amazing arrangement from Adrian Durban. My daughter face timed me to thank me for her flowers. I said I didn't send you those they must be from someone else. No they were not. I was very upset and called right away. Linda assured me the Lilly's would bloom and be very pretty. She apologized for them forgetting to put the babies breath in and sent some to my daughter in a vase. 3 days later 1 Lilly bloomed. I am so disappointed. The flowers were not even close to what I ordered. She received a vase full of dark green leaves, dark pink roses and closed Lilly's. I expected any florist that had remained successful for over a century must be reliable and I was not disappointed. After leaving my feedback I was contacted by Linda from Adrian Durban apologizing for the issues I had experienced and asking for more feedback. I provided more info and she apologized that I was not satisfied but advised that I should have contacted them if I wasn't happy, I advised that at the time of recieving the flowers I was recovering from a serious illness and was unable to contact them as I was too unwell, she said understood and would be happy to provide another vase as an apology. The next day the flowers arrived and they were beautiful. 5 days later they are still going strong and are very pretty. I came in, on Valentines Day, to get some flowers for my wife for our first V Day as a married couple. I told the lady that I wanted two bouquets in vases, one for her work desk and one for home. I sent my godmother flowers from Adrian Durban's after her husband had passed. I sent them to her home instead of the funeral parlor because I wanted her to have something of beauty in her home. I live out of town so I never saw the flower arrangement with crystal cross in person but I have been told not only by my parents but other friends and relatives that she adored the arrangement so much that she insisted on it being brought to the funeral parlor because of its beauty. ordered a corsage for Mother's Day (6 days before) to be delivered the day before Mother's Day. I paid a $12.00+ delivery fee for a total cost of $50.00 for the corsage because I wanted my mother to have the corsage to wear to church on Sunday. Saturday night before Mother's Day, I called my mother around 8pm and she hadn't received the corsage so I called the Adrian Durban Florist and the 24 hour service took my name & said they were still delivering & to call back in an hour or so if she didn't receive the corsage. I called again around 9:30pm, no corsage, took my name again & said someone would call. NO call Saturday night or delivery. I called Sunday morning & NO call back or delivery. I got a call from my mother (when she got home from church at 11:30am) that she had just received the corsage. A LITTLE LATE, don't you think? On Monday I got a call & Durban Florist offered to waive my delivery fee but not the cost of the corsage. I will NEVER purchase anything from them and I advise you to do the same.
