From our initial consultation via phone and in-person she knew that I was overwhelmed and had no clue what I was doing or needed do. During our meeting Ms. Carol help me organize a list of to-dos for my mom's memorial service. So when I left the shop not only could I breathe a little easier but was reassured that I would honor my mom properly.. Not only did they provide floral arrangements for the memorial service but also provided decor for the tables both at the service and repast. Also, Carol personally came to the church early and set-up everything. Everyone raved how beautiful the front of the church looked with the table arrangements (candles, table cloth, lace overlay, easel, vases with roses all provided by Ms. Carol). I was able to honor my mother and provide her a beautiful memorial service all because of Ms. Carol. I'm forever grateful for the extra time she took with me to help me organize my mom's service at no charge. They use AI, are impossible to talk to. We ordered some flowers for a friend but (our fault) used avenue instead of lane in the address. We got an AI message that was incomprehensible. We updated the address and after three days, still no delivery. read more

With out question, the worst service I have ever received. I called last Saturday for a bereavement arrangement. Their online ad says, "SAME DAY DELIVERY", I was told that was not available. The next offer I was given was "We offer expedited delivery on Monday by 1:00PM, for an additional charge", which I agreed. Late on Monday (After Business hours) I received an e-mail stating that the delivery was not made, and the flowers would be delivered at a later time (no date or time given). I can't imagine any event when flowers, the next day is acceptable. Horrible service, stay clear. read more

Purchased flowers for a funeral service that were never delivered. I did not receive any form of communication that it would be delayed. When I called to inquire why the csr could not give me any reason why. There is absolutely no way to fix this or make up for this happening. They asked me to reconsider the having the order refunded and offered to delivery it the next day. I thought they were joking as it was a funeral flower arrangement for the service. I would just like to say that our experience was very different and I looked at the reviews is why we went down there my husband went to blooms in reading and ordered $100 basket with flowers and plants for his brother-in-law's funeral..It was very disappointing It looks like it was just fastly put together the flowers weren't pretty It had these pointy things sticking up in the back It was just very ugly and very disappointing ...won't be going there again sad to say we've been a long resident and ready for dirty plus years and we always support local businesses read more

This is a family-run business and all of the people are amazing, especially the owner Carol. They did boutonnieres, corsages, bouquets and centerpieces for us. Carol Ruffin is amazing. Blossoms did the flowers for my wedding, and the work was stunning. From our first meeting, I knew we were going to have fun together. Our initial meeting included talking about bouquets, boutonniers and centerpieces. The second time we got together I had a ball designing each tablescape with her extensive collection of vases, votives and decorations. She not only provided our flowers, but gold overlays for our dinner tables, all candle holders, our alter arrangement, table numbers and card holder. I will admit that the best client for Carol is someone who is detail oriented. I was assured everything would be delivered as expected due to the detailed order forms I had to fill out and photos of each table. There were a few instances where I had trouble getting a hold of her, but because we live right near her office we were able to pop in and ask questions as they came up. Carol is passionate and creative. She certainly delivered on the wedding day and I would recommend her to family and friends. It was a joy to work with Blossoms. read more

I don't have enough great things to say about Carol. She is sweet, passionate and just a truly great person. Her work is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! She is a little old school, so I recommend being very detailed with her in exactly what you want. Having photos to give her helps - I was very detailed on the inventory sheet I filled out with exactly what I wanted. She doesn't really email, but she always answers her phone and is always working hard. She didn't miss a beat with my wedding, and I used A LOT of her decor (chargers, 3 centerpiece types, votives). I got so many compliments on the flowers and all the gold decor of hers that I used. Her pricing is the best you can find for the value of her work and what she lets brides use. Everything was gorgeous! She is also doing my sister in laws wedding this August and I'm excited to see more of her work! Thank you for everything Carol! read more

As in TONS of baby's breath. Not the look I was going for at all, as it ended up looking very "Granny." I was the MOH in a wedding in which this florist was hired. For the amount of money paid the product was not up to par, and the agreement was not followed. The roses in the bouquets were browning and wilting, we were missing many things; a bridesmaids bouquet, the bouquet that the bride tosses, and two centerpiece bouquets. Leading up to the wedding the owner was friendly and helpful, but the day of the wedding the staff was not easy to work with. The bride's family had to go back to the shop twice for missing items on the day of the wedding. Very unpleasant experience. The owner said she will talk to the bride when she comes back from her honeymoon and hopefully I'll be able to update this review with good customer service after the fact, but at this point I absolutely would NOT recommend this florist for wedding ceremonies. read more

We chose Blossoms for wedding flowers and arrangements because of so many rave reviews, but our experience was very different. Carol is lovely to work with and very creative, but her organizational and implementation skills are terrible. What she showed us and proposed to do was all beautiful, but what was actually delivered at the wedding was almost totally different ... and in some cases exactly what she'd been told was NOT wanted ... because she failed to take notes or remember our planning conversations. In fact, the day before the wedding she called to ask several basic questions - not a good way to instill confidence in an already nervous and busy bride! She's clearly become too busy and is now unable to deliver the level of quality that she was known for previously. Much as we want to support small family businesses in the community, we absolutely cannot recommend Blossoms for any important events. read more
