I have engineered hardwood flooring that was showing random damaged areas and I had no clue what was causing it. Jason from Creative Flooring Solutions came out and looked at the situation and gave me a quote on the labor to pull the flooring up and put new flooring down after we discover what was causing the damaged areas. It turned out to be termites. It was a small job, but Creative Flooring was kind enough to take it on anyway, which I greatly appreciated. They showed up on schedule to do the job, vacuumed & cleaned up any debris, I then had a termite guy come out to do his thing, and Creative Flooring Solutions returned at a later date to put the new flooring down. You can't even tell there was ever an issue now. Had issues with a flooring job done by another company and I reached out to Jason at creative flooring and what a professional. He took the time to listen and asked lots of questions to understand what was going on with the floor. We love our new floors! We're new homeowners and knew that the floors had to be the first project, which meant that we didn't really know what to expect throughout this process. Jason was responsive, helpful, and detail-oriented throughout the quoting process, and he was flexible scheduling around our constraints (we needed to keep living in the house, we have 2 kids under 4, COVID exists). We'd talked to a couple other installers who simply wouldn't engage at the same level of detail, and that was ultimately the reason we went with Creative Flooring. Oso and crew did an amazing job putting in wide-plank hickory floors throughout our house (~2,000 sq ft). As we'd just moved in, we ended up finding a couple issues throughout the process. Oso and Jason helped us figure out which underlying problems we needed to get somebody to fix (leveling the concrete slab), which problems we could fix ourselves while everything was ripped up (look, mice under the stairs!), and which problems weren't problems at all (turns out our second floor is a bit droopy). The estimates on timing and cost were fair and accurate, and they completed the job with minimal fuss and stress. We would work with CFS again in a heartbeat, though with the job they did, we won't need to for a very long time! (Jason tells me I should call them in 8 years for a touch-up, which I absolutely will.) read more

My wife and I recently had our living area floors redone (approximately 500 square feet). This included tearing out carpet and vinyl sheeting flooring, and installing engineered hardwood planks and trim. I can't be more satisfied with the final product as well as the great service throughout the process! When Jason Rhodes came over to take measurements and show us products, it was clear that he knew what he was talking about and had a lot of experience to back it up. After selecting Creative Flooring Solutions to do our floors, Jason arranged for us to visit the distributor so that we could see larger samples of the hardwood to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. The in-house crew of two guys that did our installation were equally high quality and meticulous (and funny!). Initially, the plan was to staple down the floors, but once the crew noticed that there was significant noise due to the nails in the subfloor, they showed me the issue and recommended to go with the glue down method. Even though this was a change order, they worked with my budget and even finished in under four days (bear in mind that they had to pull up nearly half the floors that they had already installed). The whole process was straightforward and Jason did a great job of answering any questions that I had. Beyond simply knowing what they were doing, Jason's two guys that installed our floor were also friendly, helpful, and extremely meticulous. It's abundantly clear that they care about their work.
