I ran out quickly and when I got back my husband told me the guys had come and gone. I called the office and asked and the woman on the phone told me...as though it was perfectly normal...that they had simply gone back to my house to collect their tools. They left tarp out, wires hanging out of the ceiling, my designer lights for install tossed in a pile on a side table. Absolutely awful experience all around. Completely unprofessional.

From the beginning of the project, both Dmytro and Liu gave valuable input on some of my choices to help bring the vision I had for the bathroom to life. All of the team were incredibly courteous, prompt, and hard-working with major attention to detail and a true sense of pride in their work. A special shout out to Vitaly for doing the meticulous tile work and majority of painting/plumbing. During the project, we hit some small glitches that happen with every renovation, and Dmytro and Liu worked closely with me to navigate smoothly through all aspects of the project to get the desired outcome. I love my new bathroom! On top of everything, at the end of the project, there was an unexpected plumbing problem outside of the bathroom not at all related to the project that Dmytro fixed. That level of dedication to the customer went above and beyond and was reflective of the incredible service and care that this company provides. Imagine my horror and disappointment when I open and find it damaged in shipment! Luckily the honest seller refunded my money and I set out to find someone who would repair it. I found most antique places want bigger jobs, bigger furniture. When I found Jeff Johnson's website and read the reviews I thought.... I have nothing to lose.... Flash forward to the after photos (I uploaded so you can see for yourself) and it is beautifully restored. Not only is the chip fixed but he refinished everything so it looks better that ever. I would not hesitate to bring even my most prized antique to Jeff. Quality work, fast. tips - he seems to communicate best via email. This works for me but heads up if you are used to a voice on the phone. he has an arrangement with another company so that if he is out of the office you can leave things or pick up things. This is super convenient but struck me as a little odd. I guess I am just a cynical transplant from the north and I worried about security but it seems to be de rigueur here so I guess I just need to chill out and adjust!
