I purchased plain white shaker cabinets in 2019 from Cabinet and Closet Depot on the recommendation…read moreof my contractor, Reno-Pro. At first, everything seemed fine. But almost immediately afterward, the cabinets started bubbling and peeling--despite the owner claiming they were solid maple. I reached out to the owner repeatedly, and he ignored every single message. Only after dragging my contractor into (Reno-Pro) it did he finally bother to call me back. His excuse? That the damage was my fault because the cabinets are supposedly only meant to be cleaned with a dry cloth. If that's truly the case, why on earth would he recommend them for a kitchen? And why did he originally tell me they were solid wood? After several attempts to get answers--plus leaving a negative review--he reluctantly replaced a few doors. He even showed up with his secretary, who parroted his claims despite never being part of any previous conversation. A year later, the exact same problems are back. The cabinets are bubbling everywhere: top, bottom, sides--you name it. The quality is absolutely unacceptable. If these cabinets can't withstand basic, minimal cleaning, the owner should have been honest from the start. I would have gladly paid more upfront instead of now facing the cost of replacing my entire kitchen. This company is interested only in making a sale, not in providing a product that lasts. Save yourself the headache. Do not support this business. You get what you pay for--and in this case, what you get is complete garbage.

I had them come and redo my kitchen years ago and I just called on them again to do our bathrooms. When I spoke with Ted, he remembered me (that never happens) and told me that David would reach out to me to schedule and sure enough, David called quickly afterward. We were able to put something on the books for the very next week and now I have beautiful cabinets! Also, when David came to take measurements, he checked out our kitchen, noticed a slight blemish with one of the seams and told me he would fix that too- without skipping a beat! The best part was the professionalism. Somehow, the night after the install, there was a leak in one of the new cabinets. Not only was David quick to respond, but he told me he would do whatever it takes to make it right. You just don't see this kind of customer service anymore. David and his crew were quick, super nice, fixed the leak, tore out the sheet rock, called a sheetrock repair guy and painter to come out and complete the job free of charge. I could not be more grateful and happy that I found these guys. When we move into our next house, I know that I will be calling these folks again. They have me for life. Thank you so much David for all you have done for us. I am SO happy with the product, and I am even more happy with the service you provided. #RPCFanForLife #RaleighPremiumCabinets #TreatedLikeFamily #GetYourCabinetsHere

We chose the J&K Dove White "E" line. Apparently this is the J&K budget line, but you would be hard pressed to find anything budget about them. They look beautiful and have a good solid feel to them. Any little adjustment that had to be done was done and made to look as if it was all there from the beginning. David wanted to take pics when he was done, but I wanted him to wait until the whole kitchen was done because it didn't do the cabinets a justice to not see them in a finished kitchen. Rest assured, we will have him come back when it is all done to take pictures to really show how nice these cabinets are. I would absolutely recommend them for your next cabinet job!

The house is from 1976. I believe this is the original floor. Elder took his time to ensure high quality results and paid close attention to the details. He worked cleanly; there's no sanding dust any where in my house. I went with water based polyurethane: which has no odor so my home doesn't smell, and is better for our environment. We wanted to sand and restain the upstairs and have the master carpet taken out and hardwoods put in. Downstairs we wanted all LVP. They were great with the hardwoods and stain. Some of our newly painted walls were scuffed more than I would have expected though and they said that was "normal." So be mindful if you're doing floors and walls which one you want to do first. We were aware the downstairs floor is uneven (they did point this out prior too), but suggested flooring shingles to help level as a cheaper option since self leveling solution would cost a fortune. They came in and did the work and did a great job, even installed our baseboards too. They were communicative and cleaned up well. We were very happy with it. After couple of weeks after we found a couple of spots that were hollow. They came back out and glued them down for us. It was amazing! Now, we are several months later and we are having issues where some of the LVP boards un-clicking and it's spreading more. Here I thought we would have a couple of years before this started. We have reached out to them for help or direction/recommendations for companies that can assist (even if we have to pay again) as they had previously mentioned someone could come out and spray foam under to make it level. Unfortunately, with several emails and follow up we still have yet to receive a response. I fear we've been ghosted.

He arrived on time, and was very thorough -- checking under the carpet to assess the plywood, and going beneath the house to check out the floorboards. He also gave the quote on-site, using his ipad, and emailing it to us immediately. Pricing was competitive and itemized, and given his professional demeanor, the Yelp Deal, and the positive review, it was a no-brainer to hire. The work took three days to complete. Again, Jarek arrived on time for each appointment. On the first day, he and a partner took out the carpet and laid down the oak to level with our other hardwoods. The second day, they closed off the room with plastic to do the sanding and keep it contained. Then, Jarek came back to stain and seal. I wanted to go with a dark coffee hue in the room, and the color came out beautifully. He also touched up the shoe molding with primer. We're very pleased with our new floors, and will be using Jarek again when it's time to refinish the rest of the house.
