We used to find great deals on clothing and household items there. I've found the last few visits to be disappointing. People complain about the high cost of Goodwills but this place makes them seem inexpensive. You can still find a deal but few and far between. It's become much much more "Gift" than "Thrift" You know how you can buy kids t shirts at old Navy for 5 bucks? You can buy an old Navy T Shirt here too for the same price. (With cracking decals and stains.) Much of the clothing is more akin to consignment store prices. I will still keep stopping by, but with lower expectations. They definitely have some cool things available with a bit more vintage choices than most thrift stores.

While prices on some items are slightly(talking small change) more affordable, the quality of products seem to be very low with most if not all glass appearing to be cheap chinese imports(think glass shards and possibly lead in your pipe). The woman whom I would imagine is the manager was not helpful although I think the meth in her system made her want to be overly helpful and annoying. It seems that this may be the new place to hang out for the local tweaker crowd or corner creatures as we call them in this town. It is a sad day that the local businessman who owns this as well as other local businesses can't find employees that at least pretend to be interested in making sales for him rather than chat with their tweaker friends while they steal his products.

I was wrong. So glad I was too. This place has a beautifully designed interior and great furniture display fixtures to showcase their merchandise. Bonus, their items are affordable priced. Yay! Their knickknacks range from scented candles, cute signs with sayings, tablecloths, napkins, lace, mugs, etc. Currently, they carry the Jim Shore line of Peanuts figurines. I wasn't sure what shop she meant, but when I started down the sidewalk and saw Wildflower, I knew this was the shop she had in mind. Lots of fun, cheerful decorations in the window. I was positive THIS was the shop. Probably more than anything else, Wildflower specializes in greeting cards. The owner explained that people come from miles around to check out their excellent selection. Naturally, they have a ton more gift items, including figurines as well as candles. My wife also likes the little crow figurines they have near the counter. So all-in-all, a pleasant place to visit. Really nice people with a fun selection of products. Uh oh, my wife just texted me that she needs more time. Oh well, back to the brewery.

Gold Mountain is a specialty store and gift shop with something for everyone. The store front is pretty spectacular and you can tell the owner put a lot of thought and love into the setup. My husband and I picked up some home decor items that were made in Japan, including a well-crafted food tray with a rabbit theme that perfectly goes with our living room decor. I picked up some stuffed animals for our niece and nephew, as well as a unique tea set for my aunt. There are plenty of other interesting things that caught our attention, including a friendly cat that wanders about the store and never goes out the door. Prices are very reasonable, so do yourself and the community a favor by coming in and shopping small :)

I love the obsidian wind chimes too - so unique! I've always been interested in crystals, rocks and minerals. This shop has quite a selection of meteorites and the owner is quite knowledgeable about her stuff. If you have questions about the properties, she also has a book which describes which stone has certain attributes. Great selection of moldavite - the green, glassy substance formed roughly 15 million years ago, give or take when a meteorite (or some fiery thing from space) hit the earth and formed these beautiful gems. She also has a jeweler that makes custom moldavite rings! I was very tempted by a beautiful ring that had two moldavite stones surrounding a Siberian amethyst. Located on the corner, the store has lots of light and character and the owner is a lovely person who is passionate about her stuff!
