We wandered into this store and there are some cute things but way over priced, even as compared to Los Angeles. Nonetheless we bought a few cards and lesser priced things, only to be treated so rudely at check out. The owner (or cashier, we don't know), didn't even look us in the eye as she rang up our orders. She never said hello, goodbye, or thank you. It was so dismissive. We rang up our orders at different times, but by the time we met back on the street to find our car, we were like; "was that woman a bitch or what!!!" We both had the same experience. So much for that shop, there are others..........YUCK, forget it.

The person working there didn't seem very happy which always leads me to wonder how they are treated. I decided to buy a velvet pair of bell bottom pants. I opted to not try them on as the fitting rooms/lighting were not flattering or comfortable. Upon purchase, I was informed they were on sale, fabulous! My friend and myself chatted up the sales person and she brightened up a bit. I arrived home, excited to try on my new purchase. Sadly, they were really poor quality and itched something fierce! I made my way back into the store a week later to learn that not only could I not return them but all sale items are final sale and I could not receive a store credit either. I was dumbfounded. I explained I didn't understand this to which the same grumpy sales person pointed to a sign located at the height of my knees that all sale item were final sale. I ended up wandering into the many of the shops categorized rooms like sports, tools, appliances/electronics. Nice shoes and boots gently worn. BUT THE PEOPLE! I've just moved here and struck up my first conversation with some locals Toni and Kurt who were very kind and told me about GV's small community. David the cashier was super chill and I embarrassingly started tearing up cause people treating each other like people... oh my heart.
