I walked into this super cute shop- I ended up buying a cbd bath salt for my injured shoulder- I was able to enjoy it at my inn that had a bathtub. Sales associate provided feedback on product which helped me make up my mind.

Stopped in on a whim to Kitkitdizzi. This is just one of the most magical little shops in Nevada City. I definitely wanted to get everything, but since budgets are real, I got a gorgeous pair of hand crafted earrings and my partner got a razor and extra blade refills. The staff was so kind and patient as we made our selections and even offered advice with the razor purchase. I will definitely be back and totally recommend a visit if you're in town.

My favorite locally owned and operated shop, hands down. There's a little something for everyone with a variety of price ranges.

A few weeks ago, while visiting a friend in Nevada City, we had the pleasure of browsing and shopping in this amazing store! Don't let its vintage storefront fool you ... the items inside are carefully curated and represent the most current styles in fashion, jewelry, home goods art and more. We looked at every single thing in the store, and never felt rushed - in fact, it was quite the opposite, as the staff was helpful and friendly. We came in looking for a Mother's Day gift and left with an amazing piece of art for our own home! Fiber artist Meghan Shimek @meghanshimek created this beautiful puffy cloud with raindrops that now hangs proudly in our bedroom. If you're in Nevada City, definitely check out Kitkidizzi for some of the best merchandise you'll find anywhere around here.

Just moved to Nevada City -- about the same time this shop opened. And it embodies what I love so much about the town: funky and fun and totally low-key, yet sophisticated and stylie, too. Locals are always coming in, saying hi, checking out the great stuff that local artists have made -- everything from leather to wood to silver jewelry to upcycled clothing -- and yet it's not too narrowly-focussed; there's stuff from all over the west coast curated by the women who opened the store. I drop in there a lot, and covet a lot of what's on the shelves -- and love that I don't have to go all the way into the boutique shops in the Bay Area to find stuff I like!

The person working there didn't seem very happy which always leads me to wonder how they are treated. I decided to buy a velvet pair of bell bottom pants. I opted to not try them on as the fitting rooms/lighting were not flattering or comfortable. Upon purchase, I was informed they were on sale, fabulous! My friend and myself chatted up the sales person and she brightened up a bit. I arrived home, excited to try on my new purchase. Sadly, they were really poor quality and itched something fierce! I made my way back into the store a week later to learn that not only could I not return them but all sale items are final sale and I could not receive a store credit either. I was dumbfounded. I explained I didn't understand this to which the same grumpy sales person pointed to a sign located at the height of my knees that all sale item were final sale. She said she'd texted her boss and there wasn't anything they could do for me. Truly, poor business and poor quality.

They have a bunch of handmade soups, that, I can vouch for, are absolutely wonderful! They last so long, and smell so wonderful. Even sitting there, they made my bathroom smell so pretty! It was close to Halloween, so they had some super cute Halloween decorations up, im sure they do that sort of thing for all holidays. I had purchased quite a few different things. I saw that they had some boot cuffs, that were adorable, and pretty cheap! So I got those, and pretty much have been wearing them every weekend since its been so cold! I got some cute little gifts and cards for a baby shower I was going to; verdict: the mom LOVED them! They have a lot of sure little Mr. + Mrs. stuff for Newlyweds! They have a lot of stuff for baby decoration (NOT for the kids to play with! ), they have cards and signs, trays, handmade boxes, and all sorts of cute things! We probably spend an hour in this cute little store, just looking and adding to our basket! I can't wait until I'm back in town to check this store out again! If you're in the area, and you like boutiques, then check this one out, you wont be sorry!

He also told the man he wanted to strangle him! The wife owner wasn't much better; she threatened to also knock his camera out of his hand. Total smart a**es! The man and his son were very polite to everyone, and had really lovely conversations with all the shops surrounding this store. I don't know why these owners reacted the way they did. In these situations, as a business owner, you have a choice to either be an a** OR to take advantage of the free publicity and chance to promote your brand in a positive way. Why in the world, if you're committed to doing business with the public, wouldn't you choose the latter? I hope the owners see their mistakes and have learned better ways to deal with the public. It would require professional help because someone who can be triggered so quickly over a camera, in my opinion, has anger issues and poses a danger to others.
