Zion Insulators was the most thorough in their estimate, as well as most competitively priced. I wish all our estimates for home improvements had this same combination of quality and affordability. Felix and Jose replaced the fallen baffles, air sealed everything, created a dam for the attic hatch to maximize the insulation around the hatch, brought our blow-in insulation up to R-49, and took pictures of their finished work. The degree difference is now just 3 degrees, and much more comfortable. To top it off, Felix gave me a ring about a month later to see how the insulation was performing, and will stop by to make some very minor improvements around the attic hatch that I would not have demanded or expected. So I give them all the credit for being amazing professionals who go above and beyond. I'd say I did plenty of research, and can recommend Zion Insulators without hesitation. Thanks again!

We figured out that our county's website has a record of all of the permitted work done in the county in the last 3.5 months, and you can sort by project. It also lists the sq footage of the project and the cost. We could see that Kefficient had done the most permitted projects in our county and they had a fair and competitive price compared to other companies who got their work permitted. We ended up deciding to work with Kefficient. What a world of difference! They quickly got a permit and did the work and had it inspected and it looks great. What a relief after such a poor experience with a different company!

They came out 5/14 with the new dehumidifier and fast forward to 7/16 we have water in our crawl space again only to be told today 7/17/2025 we need a sump pump. WOW!!!! My thing is you would have thought that all this could have been avoided had someone reviewed and looked at everything prior. Now that they've completed the job at my house, allow me to provide yet another glowing review. Chris and I connected not long after my request for a quote and he came by my house in the next day or so. After spending a little time in the attic, he came down to give a thorough breakdown of what was in the attic and a couple of different paths I could take (e.g. removing all the existing insulation before blowing in the new product; leaving the existing insulation and simply blowing the new stuff over the top of it). He answered every question I asked and had a formal estimate (which included detailed photos of what he saw up in the attic) to me the next day. Chris promised that the team coming to do the install would be top-of-the-line -- and he was right. Dave led the crew, who were very respectful of my house and used floor coverings and booties throughout the installation. They removed all the old insulation and got the new stuff in place in about 3 hours. Dave had me inspect the work before departing and was also happy to answer a couple of follow-up questions I had. I wouldn't hesitate in calling Chris if you're in need of assessing your insulation situation or are ready for a replacement. As many folks on here will attest, you'll get outstanding service from start to finish.
