After a water main leak, our drain tile failed and our finished basement was ruined. Our house was sitting on inches of water under the foundation slab, which had no way to drain because of our dense clay dirt. On the outside, Tiger C excavated all the way down to the slab, put in a new drain tile, water-proofed the walls, re-worked our guttering, and buried it all back. This was all done without permanently removing our porch, deck, or HVAC. On the inside, they cut a trench in the concrete basement slab and installed a six inch drain line from the center of the house to the exterior. Once opened, hundreds of gallons of water gushed out for several hours. Tiger C was very hard-working, friendly, and courteous. They were conscientious of our property and our needs. Further, they warranted their work, giving us the confidence to rebuild the interior. I could not give Tiger C a stronger recommendation.

When I requested that an actual electrician come out and take a look at the panel box, he stated it was fine and would be adequate to finish the job. Shameless money grab? Who knows. Trust broken. Once they finally landed on a date to start the job, several weeks later, it happened to land on the Friday before Labor Day. The crew was at our house for approximately an hour. They came knocking and said they couldn't finish the job because "they thought they saw a snake"..... One would think, that would be a work requirement considering your job entails you working in spaces that critters creep. But, no. They refused to the finish the job due to "the snake". No texts, calls or rescheduling emails have been sent despite our aggressive efforts to get a hold of anyone. Take your business elsewhere and save yourself the headaches.

For six months Joists kept breaking even though they said only a few needed replacing in the beginning. mold keep getting on the wallama in the house . . Time and again they kept spraying for mold . No one could give me a reasonable answer as to why the crawl space encapsulation wasn't working and mold kept growing . About the time we were going to sign the fourth contract to have work done , a family member had to step in for us . I was having headaches that were 24 hours a day . Vertigo so bad I had to stop driving . My husband was becoming confused and could not concentrate . The relative was standing on the crawl space encapsulation membrane because the floors and under flooring had been removed when a sun ray shone on his boot . He and two JES employees got on there needs and followed the beam of light . It lead to the door of the encapsulation .It was inches too short . Moisture was getting in as well as mice . This meant the dehumidifier was working hard to keep up with the moisture that was getting under the house . Mold was everywhere. The joists they were sistering to had mold all on them . We discovered the three contracts we already had were not consistent in pricing . Each contract was higher prices . Our relative had them gut all the work they had been doing out because it was ALL done wrong . They finally did the work correctly. Then I discovered they had dropped the second building permit and never had their work inspectEd through the county . I had to email the county and request one . We hired him to repair the parapet wall on our roof of a rental property and his team did a great job. It looks amazing and almost brand new. (See before & after pictures) We received three separate quotes and the big thing I learned is that it's extremely important to use lime mortar when repairing an old roof/mortar. If you use something different it can cause water drainage issues and other concerns. I was only able to find two people in Richmond who use lime mortar- Mike and one other company. Both quotes were fairly comparable but I decided to go with Mike based on his many years of experience. I'm extremely thankful I found him and wouldn't hesitate highly recommending him and his team. They also cleaned off the roof of debris that had fallen on it from nearby trees and pointed out some other areas of concern that we may want to address.
