They are reliable, consistent, easy to get a hold of, very accommodating to our needs and most importantly, offer a beautiful selection of contemporary furnishings. What really sets them apart is the level of detail they use to transform our vacant properties into inviting homes using plants, decorative statues, artwork, books - all the little things that one may overlook when staging a property. As partner and marketing director of a real estate brokerage in downtown San Diego, I've found that most buyers are drawn to properties which show and photograph well and prompt an emotional connection. And that is exactly what these guys specialize in. We always recommend Astoria West to our flip investors who are looking to make the highest ROI on a property. Proper staging has resulted in these investment condos and homes selling for a much higher price in a much shorter span of time then if left vacant. And the fact that Richard and Jim do it so consistently well speaks volumes of their competence and customer service. Thank you guys!

Over the last week we were listing our first home for sale and we were honestly very nervous about…read morethe whole process. In the end, we were so grateful to have 2ee Staging in our corner helping us out, because I know it undoubtedly paid dividends in the end. Atousa came out about a week and a half before we listed to get an idea of some of the items she was going to use to stage and even gave us some pointers to work on in the meantime to get everything ready for the showings. We had our home professionally cleaned on a Monday and Tuesday set up 2ee to come in to do the staging. Atousa came back that day with her assistant and spent the good part of a day staging the house just right. When we came to the house later in the day to take a look with our agent, we were all blown away. It really did look like a whole different house, in all the right ways. The next day we had photography, which looked great with Atousa's handiwork. We went live on MLS the following day (Thursday) and started showings Friday and throughout the weekend. Within 24 hours of showings starting, we received multiple offers over list. We settled on a contract that was a great fit for us. All of this was in great part due to 2ee and Atousa's work in showcasing what our home was worth. Use 2ee confidence! Thanks again, Atousa!

Review of Realtor Anita Pickens…read more I was selling my house and Anita was working for the buyer. I had several offers on my home but her clent's offer was the best all around. She was also easy to work with and we managed to work a deal where both parties were satisfied. I was able to meet Anita several times during the process as she came over for the home inspection and the final walk through. She was very polite and friendly. I could tell that the sellers were very pleased with her services. If you live in that area, I would recommend her as an agent. She knows how to work a deal so that everyone wins.

When we opened the water system in the house we had cold water from hot water taps and vice versa, reminded me of a third world country work. About 3 years back the floor laminate started to show wrinkles on the top and I called him but he refused to acknowledge his guarantees and commitments. This man must be avoided at all costs.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!…read more I was connected to CA floors through Floor and Decor. They are in theory vetted and approved as a quality vendor. The initial experience was good, as they responded quickly and gave me a bid to repair the floor upstairs in my townhome that has water damage. The quoted me a price and told me that the job would take 3-5 days. This is the text thread from David: Once you pay the deposit and purchase the materials, we'll contact you to schedule the installation. If everything is done by tomorrow, we can dispatch our team as early as the end of next week or the beginning of the week of July 21. The project itself will take about 3-5 days to finish, unless we need to do surface leveling (which requires drying time and is a separate charge, as noted in the disclaimer) I needed to buy the material on line from Floor and Decor, and then I got this text. Yes, our guys will pick up the materials from the F&D on the day of installation, will try to make it 7/21st. I arrived 10 days later. No one was working, my stairs were half covered with trash bags. This was my text: Just arrived. No one working. What is the status? We need to get this done. DAVID OKHOTIN: Let me check with the installers LifeSource Me: Stair coverage is terrible. Couch is dirty. Please call me DAVID OKHOTIN: I did not hear from the installer yet, I'll keep you posted, just fyi Me: I assume someone is showing up tomorrow David is the GM of the business. He apparently had no idea where the installer was or why he was not working. There was then back and forth regarding additional material...grout, screws. I was required get this ordered an paid. I was not informed of this until 10 days into the job. On Friday, I had this exchange: DAVID OKHOTIN: The estimated completion day is Monday Tuesday next week. They will try to do sooner but they although work slower but make it right. We don't pay them hourly rate but per project, the only requirement is to do a great installation Apparently, way way more time than usual took demolishing and prep (not finished as the floor needs leveling). They are encouraged to work faster but the priority is to make it right. I have specifically addressed the issues of making sure the stairs and the couch are completely covered and kept clean. Me: Has to be complete by Tuesday. Friday I arrived, and again, no one working. I got this response: The installers will come tonight after 4:30pm to work, and they will also work over the weekend. They committed to finish on Tuesday the latest Tuesday: Me: Please give me a status update DAVID OKHOTIN: Most of the tile installed, grouting and finishing up tomorrow morning Wednesday: Me: We are on schedule? We need to sleep in the room tonight DAVID OKHOTIN: Jonathan was to do grouting around 4:30-5pm, we will need few hrs for grout to dry up. After that we will assemble the bed back It's going to be late tonight Job was not completed. We were forced to get a hotel. Thursday: Me: Work supposed to start at noon...no one here DAVID OKHOTIN: He will be there No more response. Again we need to get a hotel. Installer did not show up until 5pm Thursday and worked into the night. Job was not complete. I was told installer needed to come back to finish a small portion. I told them he could not be there after 5pm. I got no response. Monday I got a text from installer that he wanted to finish the job. I said ok, and never got a notice of completion. Tuesday I get a call from a person named Rick. Hard to believe the experience could get worse, but it did. He told me he is the ex GM, an he is working with the owner to help with customer service. He then proceeded to tell me that the current GM is terrible, but there is nothing he can do about it because he is the owner's twin brother. He told me that there are many unhappy customer. He then had me confused with another customer and said I had asked for a $265 discount. I never had any such a discussion. I told him I was forced to stay in a hotel for 2 nights. He then got angry and that is not their problem and I should have gone back to stay at my main house (2 hours away). He was rude and arrogant. I arrived at my place on Thursday and all the trash from the job was in my front yard. I got a call from Rick this morning demanding payment. I am only spending this much time with this much detail to deter other people from using this company. I will be letting Floor and Decor know that they should not recommend CA Floors. Just search for Moreno bath for my review there. Great competitive prices! This review will be about our complete experience with BKB and their kitchen renovation team. To sum it up, it was amazing. BKB has a large selection of cabinets and countertops; all at very competitive price points that beat all other quotes we've received. Wendy has incredible vision and tons of experience working with Prefab cabinets so they can fit whatever weird dimensions your kitchen and bath may be. Built in the 70's with custom weird cabinets? No problem, she can mix and match her vast library of cabinets to fit your home perfectly. All the drawers are soft-close interlocking/dove-tailed real wood. The cabinets are high-quality veneered layered durable plywood (no MDF!!). The doors and faces are all real wood with VERY high quality painted surfaces by Sherman Williams. All the hardware are of great quality and very easy to maintain (hinges, rails). I was not expecting this level of quality and features at their price point they were asking for installed. Just Incredible. ---- Wendy came to our home to take measurements and she already had a vision in her mind of what the kitchen is capable of. She later produced an awesome 3D rendering of what it'll look like, and made several recommendations based off our budget. If she was a project manager in a large tech company, she'd be the best project manager ever. I work in defense and tech, and have dealt with many PMs in my career. Wendy is an absolute elite-level PM running her company and extremely skilled team. I've never seen a team of contractors/installers demolish and install an entire kitchen so fast. They were done in less than 4 days. 1 day demo, 2 days install, and the 4th day just little odds and ends. We had a functional brand new kitchen in less than 1 week!!!!!!!! ....and it all came right on budget exactly how much she said it'll cost, right on time, and meticulously & professionally installed with incredible attention to detail. She runs an incredible team and she's very passionate of her business and deserves all the praise ever. Of course there will always be scope-creep and adjustments as with any project. Wendy graciously worked with us throughout the process with suggestions, pros and cons, and how much every little thing will cost. Yet, even with a few more additions, we never went over our budget cap, and was always transparent how much every little thing costs. Whether if you just want to buy the vanity and cabinets yourself and do it yourself, or use her incredibly skilled and experienced install team, you just cannot go wrong doing business with Wendy and BKB. Oh and pet her puppies for me when you go to her storefront haha.
