Andrew promptly responded to my request for an estimate with a very reasonable price and clear start date for my kitchen remodel project. He was very helpful in suggesting ways to save money and get the look and features I wanted without major construction. Several local contractors have wait lists of 6 to 9 months, particularly for moderately sized projects. Floor to Ceiling Inc. was one of 3 contractors who provided a bid to convert our garage into a music studio. We met with Bella, from, who ultimately became our project manager.  She communicates clearly and listens to her customer. She did not push her ideas to rack up higher costs. Bella was specific about a project start and end date. She assured us that her team would work continuously and not leave us dangling mid-project while they worked at another job site. Bella kept her word and Floor to ceiling essentially finished the project within the anticipated time frame. A slight delay was primarily caused by scheduling issues with the San Diego city building inspector. At every step through this process, Bella texted me so I knew what to expect and when to expect it. Floor to ceiling employs skilled craftsmen who arrived on time, were polite, wore face masks, and cleaned up the work site at the end of each day. I was particularly impressed with the two person team who completed the garage and bathroom flooring. In an old home, such as ours, floors are not always level and plumb. The finished tiled floors, however, are perfectly spaced and level. Bella pays close attention to the fine details and the he folks at Floor to Ceiling Inc. know what they're doing and do it well. I highly recommend them.

But the worst part was being promised daily that I would receive a call back the following day at a specific time with an update or that the tech inicial would be out the following day between 12-3pm, etc and never once received the phone call as promised and twice a no call, no show. I was told I would have a shipping confirmation so we would know exactly when the part would be delivered but instead each day he would promise to let me know the following day by a certain time and never once followed up with the information promised. We even had family in town on one occasion which we explained to Imran so we missed a full day with them waiting for the technician who never showed, never called. In addition, the part did not even arrived until several days later, so this promise of installation was an empty promise. Even more frustrating was with each missed call I'd have to reach out again and again daily and he was very short and rude with me. Often answering with "it's not here yet". Not a hello, just a rude, rushed answer and then a click to hang up. I can't imagine doing a large project if this is how a simple AC repair is handled. Extremely unprofessional.

I didn't have the money (or it's likely because I'm a little cheap) to pay the $4 per sq ft for laminate flooring from Home Depot. I spoke to the owner John who answered all my questions and even went over possible options as well as things to consider. On my second visit, I purchased all the materials I needed to install my flooring. Overall, for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo, I paid a little over $1K for flooring. (This did not include the tools, tape, baseboards, etc.) The quality of the laminate flooring is top notch and I liked how everything turned out. Mic Unlimited also gave me a really good estimate to redo my kitchen, which I will be hiring them for probably within the next year or so. My friend used them to redo their kitchen and it looks amazing for the price.
