The old Nat Geo had rotating exhibits. My family saw the Terracotta Warriors, an exhibit with live geckos, another with live frogs, one on birds of paradise, and another on medieval artifacts some English farmer found on his land. It was interactive and informative. This was glitz without a lot of substance. There are other possibilities to explore, but they are all behind a pay wall. Even a guided tour of the museum was an up charge. I wouldn't head back anytime soon. I don't love to pay for museums when there are so many for free in DC, but if I was going to pay, I would spend my money at the Spy Museum or the the National Building Museum, where there are more exhibits and information to learn and explore.

The birthday family rented the space on a Sunday evening from 5-6:30 p.m. The first hour, the 12+ girls played in the gym space. The first few minutes was free play, but then the staff took over, creating obstacle courses, setting up a blow-up trampoline, etc. The staff created order where each girl patiently waited their turn to go throughout the space. The rings were especially a hit. After an hour of play, the kids moved upstairs to the birthday room. The birthday family brought in pizza, juice/water, and doughnuts. It was a blast!

I have no idea how anyone involved with the company can think this is acceptable. I also question the profitability, leadership, and organization of a company capable of missing out on over $500 for a 2 hour event. Additionally, I opted to create our own nerf experience at our home and it was far more affordable than hiring this company. I won't be recommending or using District Nerf Co. in the future.

My little one is the kind of kid who is very shy and for the first two semester he mainly hung out at the perimeter of the room... and then we would get home and he'd be clapping the patterns and singing along to the class songs we played on the phone; which is to say, this class has an impact on the babies long after the forty-five minutes are done. And it's a great way to meet other kiddos and parents in the community!
