I previously took a class on cookie decorating... but have wanted to sign up for several of the other offerings like learning to paint my pet or paper flower making. While we are under stay at home orders, Give Rise has been doing some online yoga offerings and instructions. They have also been doing kits for at home crafting that seem incredible! After selecting pottery painting, canvas painting, or glass fusing you are explained the next steps. We each selected two objects to paint and spent the afternoon in the studio painting away. We go pick up our art in 10 days which is the processing time. The shop does have a strict 60 day policy to pickup within or your art is thrown out. A fun and unique experience!

As a comparison, this is much more of an art class than a Paint Nite experience, in my opinion. That was totally fine for us, as we planned more for the evening. The general selection of ceramics was a bit smaller than other local places, but they offer a variety of stuff to choose from. Definitely reserve your time slot online and fill out the waiver prior to coming. After check in you will get a safety briefing then go through the practice course. After that you are free to explore the course. They have many different levels from easy to extra challenging. Very fun time had by all. The zip lines were amazing and it also teaches kids a lifelong lesson. It's OK to have fears. It's just about being able to overcome them, different and abilities may be different too. i'm truly glad I've had the experience. I want to say, thank you for the gentleman on the yellow course that assisted my son along with his classmate and believing in themselves and showing them that they could do it. I watch the showman talk to my son about being afraid of the height and that he could do it and provided breathing techniques to assist him. It's nice to know that there are individuals at the establishment that go above and beyond to help out students kids and even adults. I will be back to the establishment to help build more confidence.
