My daughter spun the wheel and got a free pass. I'm not sure it really equalled out, as they regularly have deals year round. But hey, I'll pretend like we had some type of savings. The course wasn't cheap. But it was a really memorable day out with our family. We appreciated how thorough the explanation was and they did a good job in separating groups so you weren't backed up. We had 2 little kids so that was definitely a concern. But we didn't have to worry about sharing the course at all. The time flew by and we enjoyed the variety of the ropes course. During the 2020 lockdown, my partner and I were in california and ropes courses became one of our go-to activities. We love them and this course was up there with the quality and variety. It was a great experience for our kids too. We'll be back.

Definitely reserve your time slot online and fill out the waiver prior to coming. After check in you will get a safety briefing then go through the practice course. After that you are free to explore the course. They have many different levels from easy to extra challenging. Very fun time had by all. We did the Mob Boss room, and it did NOT disappoint. It was just the two of us because the rooms are private, and I actually loved that. We were able to work together, figure out our individual strengths, and tackle the clues as a team. And guess what? WE ESCAPED! We had a few clues along the way, but we ended up solving the room with just under TWO MINUTES left on the clock! Talk about cutting it close! We were so proud of ourselves when we got out. Molly was the staff member who helped us get checked in, sign the waivers, and get everything set up. She was friendly and helpful and made the whole process easy. And they don't just send you on your way after you escape. They have props available for pictures, and Molly took some photos of us afterward. It was such a cute way to remember the experience. My sister had so much fun that she immediately wanted to do ANOTHER escape room. Unfortunately, they didn't have another opening that day, but they did give us information about rebooking and a discount for coming back. I also really appreciated that they offer discounts for first responders. My sister is an officer, so that's an especially nice perk. There are several escape-room options in the Frederick area, but I'm really glad this is the one we chose. It was fun, challenging without being frustrating, and a great experience for both a first-timer and someone who's done escape rooms before. Justin and Jasmine made sure we stayed hydrated, and regularly brought us into the air conditioning to avoid overheating. They ensured our safety every moment we were there. The rope course was insanely fun, the giant swing and zip line were a blast and our favorite part was honestly the rock climbing! Justin and Jasmine were fantastic - we will definitely come back (preferably not during a heat wave haha) and hope they will be our guides again - every single person today made it memorable for my family! We were greeted by 3 staff members (apologies I don't remember their names). I initially thought this was just a venue to smash stuff but it was explained that this is a mental health venture aimed at spiritual healing. After signing the waivers and donning our PPE, we went in. The wooden structure isn't huge so you cant get running starts or make any long over hear arm movements, but it ended being just the right amount of space to get your smash on. Initially I was caught up in the novelty of smashing things, but a point in time came where that novelty faded and I found myself tapping into an aggression and emotion I did not go there with. It wasn't until I stood there out of breath with my hands sore that I truly understood what this place was for. That session provided a space and avenue for me to truly let go, for just a little bit. If you haven't done that recently (or ever), you need to book a session to understand what im talking about. A challenge was issued to me to put in work on the water heater and I made a decent hole in it but that thing was tough. They sure don't make em like they used to.

The cocktails are tasty and our price perfectly. It's nice to be able to find a good distillery that offers decent price beverages. At this time they don't serve any food however, right next-door is Maxwell's and because of its location, they're plenty of other location to stop by. My favorite cocktail was the seasonal mule stopping in this holiday seasoning. Get yourself one it's very tasty.
