Plenty of room for everyone to have their own personal space. The outside area is beautiful with an amazing fire pit area on a super large patio. There are also many goats, peacocks, chickens and ducks on the property. Truly would love to stay here again...need to think of a reason to back with a group of people!!! We had a chef come and cook dinner which was just okay. The taste of the food was delicious but the pasta was over cooked and the steaks were undercooked. The chef didn't ask any guests how they would like their steaks cooked which I didn't think was to smart considering two guests had to microwave their plates. In fact, there wasn't much communication with the chef at all. Maybe it's was just my expectation but I thought maybe the chef should have introduced the courses and at that time asked how everyone would like their food to be prepared. With all that being said the sous chef, Jen was absolutely amazing!! Extremely friendly and accommodating. We had a party of 11 ladies and she had her hands full with us yet she handled everything perfectly. We also had our wine tour guide Paul and he was awesome. Paul shuttled us to several wineries and a brewery. It's almost like he knew exactly what we wanted without us having to ask.

Dawn went out of her way to ensure our guests were happy and comfortable, and went above and beyond in accommodating us. She is warm, gracious and friendly, which makes her the perfect host! The Inn is beautifully restored and the attention to detail spot-on. Each room is beautifully decorated, and the kitchen and bathrooms are absolutely gorgeous! We are looking forward to a return visit. We were also very lucky to have Executive Chef Craig Kevin Jordan, with military honors, prepare the appetizers and dessert for our party, which was a culinary delight! We look forward to sampling his food for future events. Whether you're looking for a night out from the daily grind or a long weekend away, this is the place to stay for any occasion! Here's our experience. 1) Parking: Located up a long driveaway, there was enough parking for guests without it feeling cramped. 2) Space: For the Indian ceremony, we were outside in their garden. It was beautiful, but also very cold on a windy April evening. Luckily, there were blankets for guests, but it was COLD. The cocktail hour was below the barn with powerful heaters. Upstairs in the old barn was the reception. It felt a little tight for 150 guests, but not bad. 3) History: The property is on an old farm with a brick Colonial era house. The house is where the wedding party got ready for the ceremony. I couldn't find record of this easily online, but it's safe to assume the former owners of the house enslaved people pre-Civil War. It's important to note so we don't take that lightly.

The groom's getting ready area was nice and had a lot of games/activities to keep the men happy throughout the day, as us ladies got ready. We were actually quite jealous of all of the fun things they had- the bridal suite had nothing! My biggest complaint would be that the bridal suite was overrun by bugs- wasps, stink bugs, and lady bugs. The staff was friendly and did their best to remove the wasps (the only bug we cared too much about), but it was still a bit gross.
