I am new to the area and I been to a lot of salons but this was not it. I went in for a regular pedicure and the lady with short hair who attended me did not know what the hell she was doing. It took 3 people to take care of me. I was so shocked when she wasn't even wearing gloves while handling customers. Honestly that's so unsanitary. I am from LA I since worse and this is the worst. I stopped her half way. She was too rough cut my nails way too short. Looked like she didn't wanna be there. It took three people to try to fix my service, but one of them try to justify that they take out ingrown at the end of service after your polish cause she the only one who knows how. I wonder why did you even offer this service if you don't have nail techs that know? read more

I've given this place a try 3x now. One time I called ahead and asked for an appt for my daughter, and then just partial gel removal for myself (I had like 4 nails where the gel had not come off on its own yet). Young girl on phone agreed and said both of us could come in at so and so time. We get there, and they only take my daughter and the same girl says "no I didn't say you have appt. You have to wait. I'll see if I can fit u in". So I sat and waited and she acted like she was doing me a giant favor squeezing me in for a service that took all of 5 minutes. Just overall, really rude. Next time I go in for a pedicure and the younger guy did a decent job. The gel pedicure lasted for over a month which was great as I rarely have time to ever get any services done for myself. I decide to get a pedicure again, called again for an appointment, and show up on time. I get an older guy... this guy really should not be doing any services. He managed to cut me with the heel scrubber. Not only that, he didn't seem to clean the cuticle areas very well. This is evident as when he went to wipe off the excess lotion with a towel (after already painting on the gel), an entire gel polish on one toe nail came off in one piece. Just flaked right off. I don't know if it's the lack of cuticle care, lack of proper prep for the gel polish to adhere, but he needs to be retrained. The entire service just felt half assed...plus non-working massage chairs, and jaggey edges on the polish... I still tipped lol. I get home, and that night, 3 toes had completely missing polish, I found the entire piece of polish on the floor later lol. Do I have the effing time to go back in the next day for them to repaint? No... I barely have time between working beyond full time hours and juggling 3 kids... and I didn't want to deal with their attitude again despite me having time stamped pictures to prove it. So beware of the old dude and attitudey younger girl if you go here. 2 stars for the young dude and his quality of gel Pedicure. The end, thanks for listening. Lol. read more

I had 2 technicians. One was working on a gel pedi and regular mani. Both were pretty bad. The gel pedi gave me a cut because she scrubbed so hard on my toe when she buffed and she kept insisting there was no cut. I was bleeding? On the mani it's like she barely cared about it and rushed through the whole thing. In both cases I didn't get a massage. That's one of the main things I look forward to getting. Mani was $15 and Gel Pedi was $35. For $50 I think I should've at least had even nails and an even coat. On the upside, the lady who seemed to be either the manager or the owner was really nice and apologized for the cut when I pointed it out to her. I will not be coming back. read more

Amazing pedicure. I am so picky with my pedis. From the way they polish, the massage, water temp, nail shape, cuticle removal... everything!! My daughter and I were shopping at the mall and decided we needed pedicures. We looked up some salons and decided to visit Creatips. I called ahead to check their availability, and they were able to take us both right away. We both walked out happy and plan to make this our go-to spot when I'm in town visiting her while she's in college. read more

Oh my gosh-let me start out by saying I lived in San Diego for 25+ years and have been to dozens of nail salons here. Even some of the really "high end" ones you see in Del Mar and La Jolla, and NOTHING compares to Creatips. Best nail salon I've ever come across. The staff is so friendly and it's probably the cleanest salons I've ever been to. They have a variety of services and colors and are experts. Everyone does a fantastic job. I saw Bell a week ago for a quick eyebrow wax and she did a great job. I'm pretty picky about my eyebrows but she really made them look great. I came back a few days later for nail removal (I had these awful long gel x nails for a wedding) and a gel manicure. Bell took her time and really worked gently on removing the gel x nails without damaging my natural nails. She was so meticulous and detail oriented and my nails looked amazing even before the gel manicure. They weren't thin or uneven--she really worked diligently to get them off and keeping the integrity of my nails in tact. I've never had that before--usually my nails are damaged by the removal process. She took her time with the shape and tidying up my cuticles and had no problem swatching colors for me when I couldn't make up my mind. She took her time being precise with the polish and it's the best manicure I've ever gotten. My nails have NEVER looked better. I wish I didn't live across the country because I'd be in here every 2-3 weeks to get my nails done. I cannot wait to come back and see Bell. She did such an amazing job. Even my mom went for a hard gel manicure after she saw what a great job they did on my eyebrows and she was thrilled with the way her nails looked. She can't wait to come back either. They're also so incredibly kind and remember their customers! I'm recommending Creatips to all my family and friends now. Unfortunately that was the worst manicure I've ever had. Just so many issues: the gel wasn't set properly so it was still sticky at the end on a few nails. The polish is patchy and transparent in spots. Several nails were not shaped. I had so much polish on my fingers, he had to scrape a bunch off. Another manicurist fixed one nail. When taking off the old nail polish I was burned with the drill. What a waste of money. read more

Customer service was the problem this time. I was promised a do over of my nails that did not last even for two days after the service. I use the male technician there because I could not wait for the lady that usually does my nails. I was taking a plane the next day After the job, They looked beautiful, but they didn't last. After a day, they started chipping and during the first week, several broke off. I had to peel off the other ones my nails look terrible on my trip. I called immediately and he said he would fix it. I told him I was away out of state and he said not to worry that he would fix it once I return. When I got back, I reminded him of his promise, and he said that my former technician will take care of it for me. She did a great job. I was charged a full price. In spite of the fact he told me he would fix them for me. As I was debating the issue with the technician, I heard him tell his client that he only fixes nails after 2 to 3 days. I reminded him that I was 5000 miles away and could not come right away to have them fixed. It's not the money that bothers me as much as the horrible customer service and embarrassment I had to go through in front of other customers. He just should have told me that unless I went there two or three days he could not fix his mistake. Instead, I went expecting that he would do right by me and instead, I was humiliated. I even heard them laughing once I left. Not sure who it was because I didn't look back. Honesty and clear communication goes along way and customer service. read more

I live 30 mins away from this nail salon - the first time I came it was because I was in the area, but I came back a second time because of how much I loved my nails. I got Daniel on my first pop in visit and loved the way he shaped them - knowing it comes with risks of them being more delicate, I like my nails to be filed very narrow/skinny and also not very thick. Daniel gave me a polite warning (as they always do) and proceeded to shape to my request but they still felt relatively strong. Unfortunately the next day I literally slammed my hand in some weights at the gym causing two to break, so I came in for a repair. He repaired my nails at no cost and they also lasted me a full month after that. Today I came in with fully grown out nails from the first time and he did another beautiful job. I also brought in my own dip powder that he used with ease. read more

Please save your money. First they told us the "regular" pedicure option was the #1 for $26 meanwhile there is a cheaper option per photos on here. They charge $10 more for dip gel manicure rather than regular gel but still use the UV light and gel at the end. They wanted to charge $5 extra for matte top coat. I was bleeding from several fingers after flinching in pain the whole the employee continued to over file the same cut that she gave me. Would not return and don't recommend. read more

The waterfall is peaceful and relaxing. I called right before coming. And was able to be seen right away. Mindy listened to exactly what I wanted done. And had some beautiful color choices. She even suggested some different new SNS powder options to me that I hadn't seen before. She paid careful attention to a broken nail.
