My birthday was 4 days away and I desperately needed highlights and a trim. I looked to good ole yelp for my "hair emergency". Luck would have it that a new salon had opened. They had awesome reviews and were right up the road. I called Saturday morning and I was able to book an appointment for that afternoon. When you walk in you see a clean sleek look of a freshly new salon. It had been open for only a few weeks. It's absolutely pristine. I was greeted by two smiling faces. The owners are a mother/daughter team. T (Teri the mom) and C (Christina the daughter) Salon. Between the two ladies you have over 20 years of styling expertise. The services I received was a full set of foil highlights and a trim. My color was sheer perfection. My highlights were amazing and the hair color was just what I was hoping for. My hair cut trimmed off all the split ends. It was all finished off with a wash and blow dry. Come out a support a local business. If your looking for a new stylist look no further. The entire appointment felt luxurious and personalized. The consultation was thorough, and Kynleigh took the time to really listen to what I wanted while also offering professional recommendations that fit my hair and goals. I never felt rushed, and I appreciated how she explained everything throughout the process. The shampoo experience was absolutely amazing--more like a relaxing spa treatment than a typical salon visit. It was the perfect way to unwind and made the entire appointment feel extra special. Kynleigh did a beautiful job with my full/partial highlights, creating the perfect blonde that looks natural, bright, and dimensional. She also gave me a fantastic haircut and finished everything with a gorgeous style that left me feeling confident and refreshed. Her attention to detail, talent, and genuine care for her clients truly set her apart. Cove51 has such a beautiful, welcoming atmosphere, and the level of service was exceptional from beginning to end. If you're looking for a stylist who is knowledgeable, talented, and passionate about what she does, I highly recommend Kynleigh. I chose this place because it was incredibly close to me & you could book appointments online. If y'all want to get your hair lightened/bleached, Christina does magic!! The before and after pic is after one session! My hair felt softer than when I came in ! She was super sweet and fun to talk to as well. I usually dread going to salons because when I used to go to other places, it would be chaotic and loud with tons of people in there. But it was just me and her!! It was so relaxing. When it came time to pay for the bleaching, toner, olaplex, and styling, it was only $150, and I was honestly expecting it to cost double that (again, my salon experiences are mostly pre-covid). If you prefer a chill & laid back experience with talented hair stylists, this is the place to go!

Come in and i said I wanted to remove split ends while keeping length. Her response was basically: you can't do that without cutting it short. Weird. I've gone to other salons where they've removed the split ends while keeping length. So then I referenced a photo, not a stock photo but a picture of myself by a hairdresser that moved away. Which is the reason I went to another salon, to find another hairdresser. She said I had a specific expectation and to go back to that hairdresser that cut my hair like the photo. First of all, who DOESNT go to the salon with an expectation or stock photo or wanting their hair cut a certain way when they go to a salon? Second she said she's been cutting hair for so long and thinks she can cut it the way I want it BUT I have a very specific expectation. I'm confused, you can do it but don't want me unhappy with your result? Ok. No problem, I appreciate that you were thinking of me but not before asking me to make another trip to the salon, giving me the impression that you were going to rectify a situation by having me sit in your chair and put that cape around me? She gave me my money back in the end but not without arguing with me first and asking me to waste a trip. As a business owner, maybe ask for the reference photo PRIOR to the trip, the arguing with a client. If you have any expectations for your haircut, don't go to this salon. If you want to go in, sit down and say "do what you want"....still go somewhere else.
