Our first cut was 2-3 months ago and the lady was very nice and chatty so I took my son back yesterday for a haircut. She was not very chatty like before which was okay, the cut did not take too long. After the cut, she did not ask if it looked okay and I forgot to check. This morning my son showed me his haircut. I never had a haircut that look that bad on him. I know for sure that's not a new style she is doing for the front. I honestly would not recommend this place to other people. read more

First and last time we went there. My husband took my 15 yo to get his haircut. My son wears long hair on top of his head (like bangs), and he only needed to cut it a bit shorter. The person didn't even listen to what my husband was explaining, said they know what to do. As a result, they cut the bangs really short, but the worst part is that it's terribly uneven. My son is very unhappy. We will have to go fix it in another salon and we will never be back again. read more

Let's start with positive thoughts: the lady is very nice and patient with my boys. My younger one wants hair shampoo too and she was happy to do that even though she has another client waiting. Con: It's a bit slow, I know she takes her times but it takes over 30 min per boy's haircut, we ended up staying there over an hour because i have 2 boys. However, this is not the reason for 2 stars rating. 2 stars is because of the uneven cuts, see pictures for your own judgment. read more

My family and I have been here recently. This is really a close by salon from home and wanted to try. My kids got a decent haircut. But I never liked my hair cut. The stylist dint spray water while cutting my mane and moreover she was super slow. I just got my layer cut with no shampoo wash, paid about 28$ which was a little extra for the service I got. My husband has been here a bunch of times and he's just satisfied with the cuts. I'm still looking for a salon in the area which can handle my hair well. read more

I went to mani's salon for the first time a while back when i decided i finally wanted to cut all my hair off and go to a short, fluffy hair cut with tons of volume. mani did the most fabulous job, she absolutely slayed the cut even though my vision was non-conventional and probably pretty difficult to do. I came in with a couple reference images, she asked some clarifying questions which really made me feel heard and got me what i wanted, and i left feeling like a boss. literally won't trust anyone else. if you have a non-conventional vision for your hair cut, or want something a little alternative, look no further. she executed the exact look in my reference photos with ease. she really can do it all! read more

I went in there when I first moved to Frisco for a haircut and have been going there ever since. Great people that offer affordable haircuts and still take their time. Worth every penny going there. Okay let me start by saying that going to hair salons gives me major anxiety. I don't have your typical gorgeous flowing locks with perfect color, etc etc etc...I'm pretty low maintenance and I like to henna my hair so I always feel awkward going to a salon. Plus I have an undercut and I'm currently growing out the rest of my hair so I don't really need anything worth paying $50-$60 at a salon. That being said, I was slightly put off at first by this place. I walked in and wasn't greeted...in fact the man at the desk kind of looked like I was bothering him. He didn't understand me when I told him my name so he made me write it down. Then I sat and waited for her to finish the man's hair she was working on. When she was done she cleaned up and gestured to me to come on over. Still no smiles, no how are yous , nothing. For about 30 seconds I thought about just leaving but I can't trim my own bangs (that ends badly) and they were so long I felt like a sheep dog. I told her what I wanted and she got to business. And, it turns out, that is what I like. Brisk, professional, quick and to the point. While I was in the chair I asked her to shave my undercut for me and she did and then that was it. In and out, mission accomplished, $15 have a nice day. I'll come back and bring my son and my husband this is right up their alley. When my hair gets longer and I think I need something major done I'll probably go to one of those snooty places just to get smiled at. But maybe not... read more

Took my boyfriend's 3.5 year old son for his first haircut at a salon. The stylist (I forgot his name) wasn't very talkative at first, but he did show patience with the little one. By the end he had warmed up and MOST IMPORTANTLY gave the little dude a great cut. read more

I've been going to Mani's last two and 1/2 years and had experiences with all three ladies working there. My hair is very straight so any mistake can be easily noticed. For her daughter Cindy I would give 5 stars. Every time is very well done. Unfortunately, she longer works there. For the older lady who works only on Saturdays is 4 stars. Only my very first time she didn't do well. As for Mani, only 2 stars. She is fast, but she doesn't check details and most times are uneven, especially when she has customers waiting or when I chat with her. My advice is you go there on Saturday mornings and have hair cut with the old lady. Or if you have to go with Mani, avoid afternoons and don't talk too much. read more

After trying all chains and dissatisfied with the cut, I gave this place a try in 2018. Since then, this has been my place to go. Excellent service. Avoid weekends if possible, they usually are backed up. I prefer to visit weekdays late evenings. In and out in less than 20 minutes with complete satisfaction. read more

The salon itself is in an older shopping center. The man at the front desk was not much of a greeter, but he took my husbands name down and we didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes. Mani (the owner) was pleasant and asked my husband whether he wanted her to use clippers or scissors, which he loved since he hates clippers. Mani was very professional and did a great job.
