Terrible food. I ordered the Italian Beef with giardiniera. The beef and bun tasted like old fryer fat. Oddly, this was the only flavor the beef had. The giardiniera had an off putting chemical taste. Plus, I came in right aftef some parents and 7-8 kids came in. There was a line of 3-4 additionalpeople. Stopped by with our family of 7, including 3 grandchildren. Service was ok, dining area was not. Met with this display of grossness- you can see how close her FEET are to the service utensils!! EVERY table (all 11) were dirty with spilled food/ice cream; had it not been cool outside it would have been cleaner to sit in the grass. The ice cream was average with several tasting of ice crystals - grands didn't even finish theirs. We'll stick to Culver's or Freddy's from now on when we want a treat. read more

We went to the Creamery and had 2 hamburgers and a Chicago hotdog and a milkshake. The hotdog was ok. Both hamburgers were not fully cooked --they were raw inside. When I asked for them to cook them well done, the manager seemed put off. I half expected him to give us new burgers. Instead, he gave us back the same burgers. Also, he didn't offer to give us new buns which were soggy from the raw beef juice. And NO apology! I was rooting for this place but we will not be back. read more

I ordered a sundae in the drive thru specifically asking NO LID due to issues before... Kid hands me one with a lid. Didn't have time to ask him for napkins before he walked away. Put it in my cup holder and pull into a parking spot. The lid smashed the soft serve ice cream down. I've seen the Creamery around the Mokena/Frankfort area before and had heard good things so my wife and I decided to give this one a try when we were in the area. It couldn't be more of a "Meh..." It's a soft serve ice cream shop that tastes like any other soft serve ice cream shop. A few bonus points for offering the Rainbow cone, but other than that I'm not impressed. I can get similar ice cream products at any number of other ice cream stores, be they local or national ice cream monarchies. They were selling a lot of hot dogs though - apparently this location had them for $0.99 on Wednedsay, which seems like a good deal! Tip: Eat your ice cream FAST on hot summer days if sitting inside... The one window air conditioner that was operating in no way cooled down the place. read more

Ice cream is great. I love Boston style shakes here. I had a Chicago style dog once... I was ok. I mean... OK. Not good. Just ok. The bun was cold and stale is like what you get from the dollar store - generic white with poppy seeds... the dog itself was tiny, not as hot as I'd like. The toppings are all fine, but freezer cold... probably why the "meat" wasn't really hot. Basically, I could have done better at home. I have only been here a hand full of times, a few of them the kids working have been a little snarky. There's usually only 2 people there all day so it takes forever... seriously if you have inside & drive thru, you need 2 cashiers. I live near Creamery and this became a place we would frequent each week with the kids. My daughter had a Birthday during Covid which meant no party. She asked for a cake from Creamery so of course we said yes. After not being able to order by phone as no one would pick up I placed my order online. It said someone would call, no one ever did. Tried calling the Creamery for 4 days leading up to my pickup days and no answer. The day before I called a dozen times before having to leave my job and drive there. The manage told me the phone had been lost and she just found it in the basement. She gave me the catering contact number who assured me my cake would be ready and was very nice. Next day I pick up a cake. I stood at the register for at least 10 minutes before anyone came out from the back to acknowledge me. Then they gave me cake with a too that squished the Happy Birthday and half the cake wasn't frosted. I sent a message to the business and the owner Called very apologetic. I wanted a partial refund of my cake, but he insisted on sending me a gift card so I could 'give them another chance'. I think it's been about 2 months now and still nothing. This was my absolute worst experience I have ever had coming here, and I have had many. One of the employees that has been working here has messed uo my order countless times. From literally spilling my ice cream in my own car in the drive through and not getting any apology OR napkins, to getting ignored and treated as less than a person, I do not feel welcome her whatsoever. Today, I ordered a banana split with extra whipped cream. When I received my ice cream I got a dirty look, no cherry on top, barley any fruit in it, and little whipped cream ( less then the regular amount). Hot Dog Wednesdays are a good deal. For .99 cents you can get a jumbo Chicago dog with all the fixins. I love a Chicago dog, and even though the taste was good, I just prefer a smaller version. (I wasn't quite sure how to word the last statement without it sounding like a double entendres, so I left it at that). Their fries reminded me of McDonald's, just not as tasty, but definitely edible. My favorite though was the frozen yogurt vanilla shake. All the taste with half the calories.
