The only negative is the fries aren't as good if you get them to go, because they arrived cold when I ordered through DoorDash. The atmosphere inside is friendly, but it's not a full service place, but more of a hybrid of a sit down restaurant and fast food, with seat yourself and ordering through the APP. Although, if your not comfortable ordering through an APP, someone will be happy to take your order at your table, but you still need to go to the register by the bar to order drinks, even soda. We threw together a very last-minute party for my grandfather's 82nd birthday and decided to try Crazy Gringo BBQ after seeing them on Instagram. Best decision ever! We ordered 4 Chingón platters and 2 orders of wings, and everything was phenomenal. The brisket was incredibly tender and juicy, practically melting in my mouth, and the pulled pork was just as flavorful. The wings were outstanding--the sweet red chili and Parmesan flavors were the perfect appetizers. The portions were huge, so we had plenty of leftovers (they definitely don't skimp!). What impressed us even more was the hospitality. They provided plates, napkins, utensils, wet wipes, and even an entire bottle of BBQ sauce. They also helped us load everything into the car, which was such a thoughtful touch. We paired the food with some frosé and seltzers from Kings Brewing, and it was the perfect combo. Best BBQ in Upland! My favorite item is the pork belly burn end tostadas, those are easily a 12/10. Come on Wednesdays for $1 wings! Perfect food to pair with Kings beer. They got live music on weekends, & kitchen closes at 7pm Sundays.. vibes are cool and service is fast. Super nice staff. The space is beautiful with a laid-back, welcoming vibe that makes you want to hang out for a while. Now let's talk about the BBQ... easily the best I've had in the Upland/Rancho Cucamonga area. Everything was packed with flavor, cooked perfectly, and clearly made with LOVE! You can tell these folks take pride in what they're serving. We ordered the Sampler Trio Street Tacos, Loaded BBQ Fries with burnt ends, and two tostadas -- one with pork belly and one with burnt end brisket. I personally had the burnt end loaded fries and the tostadas. My favorite was the pork belly tostada -- that is the definition of a flavorful bite. The loaded fries with burnt ends were also very tasty. The flavor was really good. If I came back, I'd order the exact same thing. My wife and I stopped by CG-BBQ for lunch yesterday. There were not many people in the place; it was about 1:30 p.m. on a work day. I ordered a 1/2 rack of ribs, mac & cheese, and slaw. My wife had the pork belly burnt ends, a link sausage, and the same sides as I. A very pleasant server named Desi took our order and invited us to sit where we liked. We ordered our drinks from the Kings Brewry bar and waited for our food, which didn't take long to arrive. It was a large quantity of food, enough that we had leftovers to take home. Desi stopped by to tell us she was going on break but would stop by later to check on us. A young man brought out our food and asked if we needed anything else. Well, the ribs we fall-off-the bone tender and very meaty; I also really enjoyed the sauce. The mac & cheese had plenty of cheese, but was a bit bland; I think a sharper cheddar cheese and a bit more salt and pepper would improved its flavor. The slaw was quite good. My wife's pork belly burnt ends with that sauce were quite good; she also enjoyed the link. I also had a corn bread muffin; it was okay, but I probably wouldn't order it again. The bill, excluding the our two beers, was about $72 for the two of us. This price, the food quality, and the pleasant service Desi provided beats Lucille's hands down. I saw the bandstand and told Desi I had a band that plays locally. I told her we played at Pacific Wine Merchants down the street just last Friday. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich. I have never tasted pulled pork so tender and juicy and flavorful full of smoke. I ordered the wings dry with dips on the side. You could taste the smoke in the wings. They were huge wings. What was amazing is how accommodating everybody was. My husband forgot to tell them that he didn't want coleslaw on his sandwich. They took it back and made him a fresh one with no hesitation . The music was too loud for me because I'm 75 and they didn't hesitate to turn it down. Tried them Saturday for lunch. Very Disappointed!! First the potato salad contained 3 pieces of potatoes which were Rock Hard cut not cut with lots of mustard . Pork sliders meat cold, stringy and tough maybe contained a teaspoon of pork. Brisket Sand should have been called a Cole slaw Sandwich. It had about 1 1/2 Tablespoon of meat which was chopped small and was stringy, tough and crispy. I think to heat it they fried it in oil like carnitas. They did not have Salt and Pepper available, gave 1 thin napkin and no side of BBQ sauce. Hopefully this was just my experience and not everyone else's there. There really need a quality check. I Hope they evaluate and work out there issues to be successful. If your HANKERING BBQ, I would suggest Badlands BBQ, Domestic or Canyon City BBQ. Went there Saturday night w some friends. My friend and I were not very hungry so we split the bbq burger w Mac n cheese. They accidentally brought us fries but let us keep them and brought the Mac we had ordered. It was DELICIOUS! the burger had so much flavor (I got no bbq sauce bc I don't like condiments) it was still super juicy and filling! The Mac n cheese had a little kick to it but it was good, I think it had jalapeños in it! Fries were great I mean they are fries!
