Really Good Chicken Wrap!
John K.

This place is unbelievable! The food is excellent! They call you by your name and treat you like your family. Since the first time I went to crazy cooks I was really impressed. Really fast service and they make sure you are happy with your food. I eat out a lot but they set the bar really high! I tell all my friends, family, and co-workers about them and they all have told me that they are really good!

Leaving the Hard Rock Hotel we decided to grab some lunch before we hit the road. As always, I research on Yelp. Had it not been for the great reviews I not only wouldn't have found it, I never would have stopped in. But so glad we did! Upon entering we were greeted with a friendly hello. She gave us menus, grabbed our drinks and told us the daily specials. Larry said he was torn between the pork tenderloin in a homemade onion gravy with noodles and mixed vegetables or the Sloppy Joe with tater tots. Another customer said he gave 2 thumbs up for the sloppy joe. We decided to each get one and share. Larry said it was probably the best sloppy joe he's ever eaten and the tater tots were probably deep fried because they were really crispy, The pork tenderloin was really tender and we enjoyed that too. While we didn't try the other special of chicken and waffles it smelled really good and those customers were raving about it. Our advice if in the area, don't be deceived by the outside, do yourself a favor and give it a try'

Cheesesteak with Mac and cheese

OMGS! Food was *INCREDIBLE*. Classic Philly cheesesteak with a side of home made mac and cheese. Really delicious, flavorful. Service was great, very friendly. I really wish I could give them like 4.99 stars. My only issue was the foam plates and plasticware. I hate the waste of single use and Styrofoam is so bad.

Delicious, magical little gem in Davie! I don't live in the area but my 9 year old son wanted a burger. Glad I found this place. Everything was delicious! My son at the entire burger which was huge and I had the chicken clam chowder soup. The service was great, everyone was so attentive especially to see if my son would finish the burger! I also like that's the atmosphere is friendly and with a lot of nice locals.

My office is in Davie in the same plaza as Crazy Cooks but I have never been there. Looks like a hole in the wall with very good comfort food. I ordered the Rodeo burger, 10 oz hand packed to order, comes with thick bacon, cheddar, crispy onion ring and BBQ sauce. Also a bag of chips. The burger was very good. Need to return and try some other items

Another hidden gem found with yours truly, Yelp. I was in the area to eat with a friend and this was near his work. We were both found it very impressive. This place is a little off the beaten path and I never would've heard of it without the internet. With a perfect rating and decent looking photos my quest for a good restaurant abruptly concluded with this place and it didnt let me down. The open sign seemed faded in the sun and without anyone loitering outside and a window I couldn't see in, I questioned whether it was open or not but I'm glad I tugged the door as it let me right in. It seemed family owned but we didnt go into the questionnaire to confirm it. But at minimum it seemed like a father /daughter worked there likely with other family members. It was obvious everyone seemed proud of their place and its food. They recommended their burgers and I'm glad I got one. Its size and appearance reminded me of a mondo burger from the old school Nickelodeon movie "good burgers" minus the roids. These are confirmed legit and tasty. Cooked to perfection and served on the softest bun, it was nearly (not literally, but darn close) to die for. The patty melt was reportedly EPIC as well. He said "most see greasy but this one was NOT). Their fries and tots seems flash fried from flash frozen but it worker. Service was a 10/10 and prices were very fair.

Like every single Wednesday, I decided to try a new place to lunch. I found this place very close from the place I was working. I arrived around 1PM. There was plenty of parking. The restaurant is located in a small mall. Very accessible. The place was packed and I decided to seat by the bar. I was immediately greeted and given the menu. The waitress was super nice! I decided to order the American burger with french fries and freshly brew ice tea. I did not have to wait long. The burger was juice and very well prepared. Everything tasted fresh. Even though the place is not "fancy" at all, the customer services was great and the food was worth it. I totally recommend this place if you want to try/eat a great quality American burger/sandwich.

This is place is an absolute dive! Thank you Yelp for this one, it's a family owned restaurant and the family is there the whole time. When you walk in, it feels like an old bar you would find in Boston or Philly. It was so awesome and the menu has the best choices. If you are looking for a good Italian joint well you don't need to look any further. But don't let that fool you because their burgers are HUMONGOUS! I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the food was so delicious! It's in a strip mall but it's so worth finding. Love this place and if I ever come back to Ft. Lauderdale, I will definitely be back

What can I say about this place besides the fact that the name matches the personality of this quaint little restaurant located in a warehouse complex? It is CRAZY GOOD! The family who owns and run this place are a wild bunch. Dad cooks the food, mom creates the menu and the kids are the servers. Talk about Dinner and a Show! You catch this crowd on a "Crazy" day, just sit back and enjoy the fireworks! Besides the entertainment value, this place pushes out some amazing dishes! Pork chops in a Mushroom Sauce, Stuffed Chicken, Tuna Salad, Meat Loaf! I don't care what you order if it's a special just ORDER IT and prepare for culinary goodness! If Crazy Cooks was closer to my house I would order this food for dinner every night! I only come here for lunch and I am not really sure if it is open for breakfast or dinner but if it is and you are in the neighborhood, I totally recommend you check this place out!

Also reasonable price points for a combo sub to quick pick up for you or the kids. I also had the Mexican Street corn chicken sub ( not pictured) which was surprisingly good. As soon as you walk in, it feels homie; you're welcomed by smiles and staff ready to serve. Very casual environment, with tables inside and a couple outside. The meat is freshly sliced right in front of you, and sometimes even tossed down the line to hook up somebody else's sandwich. And talk about a packed hoagie?? Loads of meat and all the fixins you want! Definitely worth the $10 do that small. I was so eager to eat mine, I forgot to take a pic, but once again, that turkey hoagie was just like I remembered it! I will definitely make sure not as much time passes the next time I stop by.

If it's your first time there it can be a little confusing on ordering but we figured it out and we were well taken care of. We were going to start with pretzel bites but we had a little snafu after a long talk about pickles and my pickle phone case so we ended up with the fried pickles. They were amazing and they weren't spears or slices they were bite size barely breaded (yay!) bites with a little bit of heat sauce. So good! They are obviously not made from frozen and are soooooo good! We then had the pretzel bites. It came with a thick cheese sauce that had a kick. My husband and I loved them too! I had a caprese hoagie (pressed) small. And my husband has a small North Fork small hoagie. It looked amazing and was HUGE for a small. We also had handcut fries. I love when restaurants serve fresh cut fries. They just taste different. So good. All in all, we loved it! There is something for everyone to eat and we are so happy we ended up here by default! Forced to go inside and glad I did. The entire café was decorated in vintage Cuban-American heritage including a 1950s red Chevrolet transformed into a dining booth with black & white vinyl seat covers. The flooring continued the theme with large black & white squares. Each table had a diecast vintage car in addition to an impressive collection of them on the wall. It was not crowded but hectic at the counter with a few orders but the smell of cooked potatoes on the flat grill was amazing. 4/10 around 530 brought back my sub because they put mayo on the wrong one…read moreThe shift leader questioned everything I told her. I told her the chicken cheese steak was supposed to have mayo "it's not a cheese steak it's chicken" it's literally called a chicken cheese steak on my order receipt. Then she told me it says add mayo like they did nothing wrong. Yes the point was they put mayo on the wrong sub. She refused to apologize. Look it wasn't a big inconvenience and I didn't want anything for free or a refund or a discount but when you're a manager and someone bring back a wrong order the absolute bare minimum you can do is just offer a simple apology. That being said the other people that work here are always nice and the food is always good quality Update: had to bring back the sub a second time because they didn't put mayo again on the philly. They refused to put the mayo on or remake it with mayo and instead gave me a cup of mayo to put on myself because "they don't have the bottle mayo".
