2/5 I stopped by Crazy Buffet recently and left feeling pretty disappointed. The food was okay, not great, not terrible, just average buffet food. What really stood out to me was the condition of the table. The condiment tray was rusty, which honestly wasn't something I expected to see in a restaurant and made me question the overall cleanliness. The service didn't help either. Our server wasn't very friendly and seemed uninterested, which made the experience feel less welcoming. I don't mind a simple buffet if the food is decent and the place feels clean, but between the rusty condiment tray and the lackluster service, it wasn't an enjoyable visit. Giving this place one star is even pushing it.... The one good thing is that the good tables were hot.... I walked in here and go the heebie jeebies! The bathrooms left much to be desired, I should have left when I saw all of the trash in front of the door on the ground.... The food was bland, sticky, and left me nauseous.... The server was nice but I felt a bit rushed when she brought the check after my second plate asking me if I was ready to pay. Just take my advice and avoid this buffett. Wow! My mother used to love going to this place. I remember bringing our own old bay seasoning for the crab legs. we use to go as a family back in 2016 very often. My mom loved a good buffet with all you can eat shrimp. She used get frog legs. Man she loved those things for some reason. She was so much fun. It saddens me to see the reviews that it's gone down hill and the price has definitely gone up. One thing they always took senior discount off which was 10% off. Ironically, my mom worked at CHD so she knew when restaurants were in violation. 7/11/26: ***FILTHY ESTABLISHMENT*** Came by for a 10 year update, as I know a lot of people go here. We were appalled to see absolute filth on the ceilings, the hibachi areas and the floors. Bathrooms are humid and slippery. The worker's drink stations stink of mildew. The ceiling areas above the food are covered with dust and grime, as seen in the pictures. The family stopped here around 12pm on a Friday for lunch, cause it's one of our children's favorite spots. Husband and I each took a child and started making their plates. There were several items that were low, but as soon as I was thinking that, several carts came rolling out with pipping hot fresh refills! We ate piping hot fried sweet and sour fried chicken bites, egg rolls, onion rings, French fries, fried fish, nuggets, fried plantains, dumplings, lo mein, mei fun, beef and chicken and broccoli, egg drop soup, sticky rice in banana leaves, dumplings, freshly made sushi and seaweed salad and much more! Buffets are the best for people that want just a little bit of everything! There is a Mongolian option and a hot curry and pho area as well. There are countless options, and it's impossible to try everything. So many proteins, like chicken, beef, fish, and seafood options. After feasting, we all enjoyed fresh fruit and lots of options of frozen treat! The restaurant was clean, our server Liliy was so kind and attentive to clearing our dirty plates. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews, but the quality of food, freshness, endless selections, and price is incredible!!! Used to be good. Last Wednesday are group of 20 men went out for a dinner meeting at 6:30. I thought "oh boy what fun." I selected a good mix of items hoping for a great meal. Boy was I in for a big disappointment. Most of the food was lukewarm, not even close to hot. Lack of flavor in most of the dishes. I could only eat about an eighth of what I had selected. The only two things that were okay was the hot and sour soup and General Tso's chicken, which wasn't very warm. Be careful with the seafood delight, wasn't very delightful, not much flavor and not very warm. Oh and the steamed clams, it was if they steamed them a week ago, tough and cool. I felt like they just served us that day's lunch. This was probably the worst $25 for dinner I had ever spent. The only thing that was decent was the ice cream, but that was supplied by Hershey. Honestly, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. My brother invited us here for my nephew's birthday because they had been before and enjoyed it, but this time everything was disappointing. It was a Friday night and there was maybe 20 people in there. Literally everything we tried tasted bad. The only thing that was decent was the frozen ice cream. The website also says they serve crab legs, which was one of the reasons we went, but the only "crab" they had was cold cocktail crab and fried crab. The fried crab meat inside was brown/black, which I've honestly never seen before and definitely didn't feel safe eating. None of us at the table enjoyed our food, which made the whole experience even worse, especially since it was supposed to be a birthday dinner. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone based on our experience. The ambiance was pretty quiet we all could hear each other. Our waitress did clear plates and refill drinks, but other than that she spent most of the time sitting at a table behind us with another server on her phone. It felt like the staff was just watching us instead of actually helping customers. Overall, the food and service were very underwhelming. My last review of Crazy Buffet was eight years ago so it's time for an update. My wife and I enjoy the wide variety of choices. If you go when they are busy you will have a delicious meal. If you dine when business is slow you will likely be a little disappointed. When they are busy the buffet items are kept fresh and delicious. There is an hibachi grill and noodle bar where you can choose your raw ingredients and have the chef cook it hot, fresh and delicious for you. When business is slow they tend to allow buffet items to grow stale before they are refreshed. Service is always excellent. Dirty dishes are promptly removed from your table and drink refills are offered in a timely fashion. Crazy Buffet offers everything you would expect from a large Asian American buffet restaurant. Sushi, dim sum, fish and seafood, meats, vegetables, soups, salad bar, desserts, etc... There is something for everyone. Prices are very reasonable. There is never an issue finding a parking spot in the huge lot shared with the other shopping center businesses. 3.5 stars rounding up to 4 for the great service. read more

Over all the food was okay. just very very bland. the selection was not too good a lot of food could have been restocked, for example the desserts only had one new thing by the time we had left. we were here for roughly an hour, as same for the sushi selection. so could have been better. service was kinda good, made sure our plates were out of the way and brought us drinks more than once. the bathrooms were really disgusting looks very bad and smelt even worse (both men and women's) the ambiance was okay, walls were peeling a bit and could use a refurbishment. Came here because a friend wanted to come and just have as many options as he could because he could not decide what he wanted. If that sounds like you and you have no clue what kind of cuisine you want whether it's asian, hibachi, noodles, pizza, sushi, wings then definitely come here. It is absolutely crazy big almost as big as a Walmart and there's rows and rows of food to choose from. The only reason I gave this place a lower review is because food wise obviously since it's a big buffet it isn't anything spectacular but if your standards for pepper chicken, pizza, and fried rice are just average then definitely this is the place to come and not worry about how much food you're going to get! I will say that some of my favorite things were definitely the hibachi bar where you can grab whatever you want put it on a plate and someone cooks it fresh for you and I also loved their custard bun, sesame balls, and taro buns. Those are things that I got mainly here. Overall definitely a great place for a hungry group of people maybe after a long day or event to come and just devour whatever you want. There is a lot of parking because it's in a huge strip mall and if you come at around 1130 that's probably the best time (it's before it gets really crowded in the restaurant itself). This buffet served a decent meal. I didn't try everything they had and was selective but what I choose was good. We stop here for dinner because we were passing through and was staying overnight. This place is very large and roomy. The variety of food will satisfy anyone. I did had a problem with their pricing and the poor English of the cashier who was not clear so when we checked out we were charged for extra for soda. We were wrongly told that soda was included with the price. We were not happy about that and the manager at the cashier was rude with us when we questioned the price. First of all, I'll say that I am brand new to the area. Went there on New Years Day after checking their website and planning on paying $13.99. When I arrived is when I found out that $13.99 had been inflated to $19.99. Ok, I figured it must be worth it. Wrong. The biggest problem was food temperature. Many items just slightly higher than room temperature. I was left very unimpressed and will not be returning. So much sushi was available right as you enter and if you walked further down the restaurant, there was a full hibachi bar (I didn't try the hibachi, but it certainly caught my attention). Our waitress was very attentive, often refilling our Sprite and Dr. Pepper and clearing out plates. We were sad that they didn't have any crab legs as advertised. && I was a little disappointed that when we asked a worker, she quickly dismissed us and bluntly answered as she walking away (back turned to us and everything...) My service was terrible I don't know why I keep coming back this is the second time I have been with months in between visits and the food is terrible some items seem like random creations from the kitchen and the food just tastes half ass. Tonight my waitress barely tended to us her manager had to tell her to get us drinks and then to refill our drinks and when she did refill it she's gonna leave the water pitcher on the table like she is funny or something but she knew she needed to turn around for that. Unfortunately my food was not good. I went at 7:30 PM on a Monday and the food was not fresh. I was picking around my food and kept walking back up to see if some of the food would restocked. I walked here from my hotel based on regulars reviews. I walked in at 8:45pm, to a worker telling me they close@ 9:30. When I said I'm still gonna eat, he made me pay first(which may be normal). Out of the 12 stations, they had already broken down 6 of them, placing the food trays from the closed stations on the counter of the filled stations. Most things were old or almost empty, and I had to get half of the "bar food" from trays sitting on a counter unheated. THE SUSHI- was nonexistent. Had a sushi bar that was 90% empty almost an HOUR before they closed, with the cheap, imitation crab rolls being all there was. I also got hibachi, which was the only thing I could say was good. I mean, they had WHOLE STEAMED CRAB SITTING ON A COUNTER NOT HEATED FOR A FULL 45 minutes before closing time!! Walked out, made it to the dumpster @the end of the strip, and projectile vomited everything I just ate. 24hrs later, I am still nauseated. NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN!
