From the moment we walked in, the hostesses and manager made us feel welcome and had us seated right away. Our server, Angel, was fantastic. He walked us through the menu, explained how many of the dishes were prepared, and made thoughtful recommendations without ever feeling pushy. We started with the octopus and fresh focaccia with honey. The octopus was exceptional--easily one of the best I've had and on par with dishes I've enjoyed at Michelin-starred and James Beard-recognized restaurants. We also shared the beet and goat cheese salad, followed by the local snapper and the ribeye cap topped with lobster claw and tail in chimichurri. Every dish was beautifully prepared and showcased the quality of the ingredients. The cocktails were well balanced (not overloaded with ice), and the Thyme on Thyme is an easy recommendation if you're looking for something light and refreshing. The wine list paired nicely with the meal as well. Watching the sunset over the water while listening to music drifting across the park made the evening even more memorable. Thanks to Angel and the kitchen for such an outstanding experience. Seventh South has earned a spot on our regular rotation whenever we're in Naples.

Our server Mike, did an excellent job taking care of us. We started off with a couple cocktails. I had an Old Fashioned and my wife had the Not Bogged Down. For dinner I had the Chorizo Encrusted Red Snapper and my wife had one of the specials which was the Tripletail. She said it was the best seafood dish she has ever had. For dessert, we split the special Crème Brûlée topped with diced fruit. We enjoyed the dessert so much, we purchased one for a sweet family of four sitting next to us. Our server Mike and the owner, Barry, helped make that happen and we appreciate it.

From the moment we sat down, the energy and ambiance set the tone -- lively, authentic, and exactly what you hope for in a great Italian spot. The food was exceptional across the board. The chicken parm was perfectly prepared, the carbonara rich and authentic, and the chicken piccata balanced beautifully with bright, fresh flavors. Every dish felt like it was made with real care and tradition. Dessert took it to another level -- the gelato was fantastic, but the real highlight was the tableside homemade tiramisu, which was both impressive and absolutely delicious. A perfect ending... until the espresso martinis arrived. Smooth, well-crafted, and honestly some of the best we've had. What truly made the night unforgettable was the service. Leonardo -- straight from Amalfi, Italy -- delivered one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. Attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm, he elevated the entire evening. Great food, incredible service, and an outstanding vibe. We'll absolutely be back.

Our bartender and server were both attentive and friendly. We ordered the My Michelle, the house made fennel sausage pasta. I must saw, after 2 nights here, the pasta is actually my preference! I thought the wood fire pizza was the standout here and the pizza is great but I was surprised that the pastas have been as good if not even better than the pizzas!

The atmosphere is cozy with warm lighting, making it a good spot to relax and enjoy a meal. There is also a bar area with TVs, which felt a little different from the typical Italian vibe, but it did not take away from the experience. Service was friendly, but it was a busy Saturday night and you could definitely feel it. Everything moved a bit slower, and we had to wait about 10 to 15 minutes for the check at the end because our server was not around. We started with the meatballs in red sauce and really enjoyed them. Simple, flavorful, and a great appetizer to share. One thing I was not expecting was being charged for the bread. It was fresh and good, but it is not something I usually associate with Italian restaurants. For the main course, we had the cacio e pepe. The flavor was there, but the sauce was a bit too liquid for my preference. It is a difficult dish to get right, and while it was good, I think it could have been a little better. The tiramisu was absolutely the highlight. The balance between the cream and the ladyfingers was spot on, and it ended up being my favorite thing we ordered. Overall, good location, nice atmosphere, and solid food. The tiramisu is the one thing I would absolutely come back for.

Definitely not for those with claustrophobia!! We were initially told they don't take reservations, yet several parties arrived claiming they had reservations. We also requested indoor seating, but despite plenty of empty tables inside, the owner insisted we wait for outdoor seating because "more people were coming." Meanwhile, regulars appeared to receive preferential treatment and were seated ahead of others. As for the food, the fried calamari, shrimp, scallops, and smelt were the highlights. All crispy, fresh, and very enjoyable. Unfortunately, the marinara sauce tasted watered down, and while both pasta dishes were cooked perfectly al dente, they lacked seasoning and flavor overall. Bar service limited to beer and wine. Disappointing experience due to the inconsistent service and uneven dining experience.

A little bit of Naples, Italy in Naples, Florida!…read more Parking: we went at 3pm which was in between meal time so parking was easy. We got a spot right in front of the restaurant on 5th Avenue Drinks: it was piping hot outside so we just had water. However they seem to have a pretty extensive wine list!! Food: we had Penne alla Norma and lasagna. Both were great. Actually, the Penne was great because it was in a light tomato sauce that was perfect for a super hot day. Service: we had Derek as our server. Seems like much of the staff are folks from Italy. We exchanged Italy stories with him. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and funny! Atmosphere/vibe: it was pretty empty when we went at 3pm but that was perfect for us. The only downside was when we walked inside to use the restroom. The inside part of the restaurant smells kind of gross, which is concerning. The bathroom smelled better than the restaurant! Pet friendly: yes, very pet friendly in the outdoors. We sat under a covered patio and they welcomed our puppy with open arms! Though they didn't offer him any water. Age group: we saw mainly adults but I'm certain this places sees all ages of customers. Bathroom: clean Return:yes!

I must have made a face when I took my first sip as the bartender asked me if I liked it. Actually I didn't, It might be the worst I have ever drank, and I order them all the time. He asked what he could do to make it better, and I didn't really know what was wrong with it. Maybe there wasn't any simple syrup? We were fortunately seated outside, as it was very noisy inside. We had a great table and our server came with our menu and the wine list as well as some crusty bread. There are numerous salads, appetizers, entrees, and even pizza on the menu. I started with a Caesar salad, which I thought was super pricey, but was very good. I was able to enjoy it before I ordered my entree. I chose the gnocchi and a glass of wine. The gnocchi came out in minutes and was some of the lightest, fluffiest gnocchi I have had since New York City ages ago. Good choice. The server wasn't rushing us, but let us enjoy our meal at our pace, which was refreshing. Overall, nice experience.
